Hi guys!
I just wanted to ask, are there any ROMs that are flashable through the CWM recovery for locked bootloader on the Xperia U?
I successfully rooted my phone, and installed recovery on locked bl, and I wanted to try some other roms, but I don't know which one I can flash. Could you help me?

You need to find a ROM that is for locked bootloaders so without a custom kernel, I think KA for the P was kind of working on locked bl.

no, usually the rom contains the root, do u mean custom kernel?
what rom are u using? stock rom go with doomlords v6
custom roms go with what the dev provides u with
I'm a bit confused.

Hi!
I am new to rooting and flashing on Android. I have an Xperia S which is currently in repair for yellow tint/spots on the screen. When I get it back and know that it is working i will unlock the bootloader using the official method.
My goal is to have rooted gingerbread on the phone, maybe with a better kernel. I have found a prerooted ftf with the FW that I want. Can I just flash that one and it will work?
Do I have to install custom recovery?
Thanks in advance!
Have I understood it right? unlocked bootloader + flash prerooted system rom. That should work?
If I want to install custom rom I need custom recovery. I would appreciate if someone could verify this for me, thanks!

Hi, folks. I'm wondering how to change my kernel, I saw some tutorials about how to unlock bootloaders, so the situation is this: Actually my xperia sola is rooted and locked bootloader running under stock ICS .54, sorry ,if it's a noob question but I like to be sure regarding I'm doing before messing up my phone.
1. I need to unlock bootloader https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq6EwuK-vDI&feature=youtube_gdata_player (in order to be able to flash a custom kernel like brain kernel).
2. Flash custom kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075093
is that it?
Any help would be appreciated.

From sola android development section you can find custom kernels with autoroot script and cmw integrated since your bootloader is unlocked.
Here are some links for kernels based on stock ics:
