Hey mates.
Got a question. I'm from Russia, but I'm prefer to use English language in my phones, pc, laptop and other stuff. Translation is crappy, and russian words are usually longer, so they even don't fit right.
I like stock TW dialer, but I can't get russian language t9 without changing system language.
Is it possible to fix it? Maybe change smth? Replace some files?
Thx in advance. Will really appreciate any help.
P.S. I know that I can use some replacement, like exdialer, but I really like TW stock dialer.

I'm looking for SE stock apps to use them as replacement for SMS/dialer/contact, because I don't like the ones built in CM6/7. So, is there anyone who have managed to use them with CM7 ?

BTW : The stock 4 corners launcher would be nice too
(Or maybe we should wait for the next x10 mini/pro and get the new rom to butcher it and port it to our phone :/)

Can't help you on the stock progs, but, take a look at Go SMS Pro and TouchPal Dialer. I found them way better than both CM and stock dialers/sms

Indeed, Touchpad dialer is fine, even if the fonts are very small :-/
Go Sms seems good too, not totally at my taste, because again of the fonts' size, but it would do the job

Well.. small screen - small fonts
Have you figured what to do with with the in-call screen? When I use in-call dialpad (to browse throught voice menus) the bottom rows (7890) are hidden ...
I use external keyboard for that..
Any ideas?

hemm...i have a question in here...i'm living in china, so basically i will need chinese characters in my keyboard, i can search for that input in market and it's good because i can use handwriting in that keyboard input but when i want to type in english it's so bad and can't use it for fast typing...it will be so laggy and mistype...but when i install the Crypt0's RUU i found in the original keyboard it have the chinese handwriting..so i don't need to change input method if i want to use handwriting..because when i flash to other rom, i can find the chinese input but only for the alphabet one..not for the handwriting one..so is there any way to backup this keyboard when i want to change to any rom? like using Titanium Backup maybe?
can someone tell me how to backup that input type of keyboard?

You can back it up with titanium. HTC_IME or something along those lines.

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed a ROM : ICS Stock V2. I have a little problem because of this ROM. I'm french and the keyboard is a QWERTY keyboard but i want an AZERTY keyboard it's possible ?
I try with AnySoftKeyBoard but I don't understand how it can help me
Try anoyher keyboard like Smart Keyboard Pro. Go to settings, and choose French languages. Done! Working fine for me.
But I guess any other Keyboard can do the samz. Have a look in the settings!

This morning, I've succeeded to change QWERTY in AZERTY with AnySoftKeyBoard but I can't use the samsung keyboard.
Can I use Samsung keyboard with Smart Keyboard Pro ? It isn't free so : Can I have the same app which can change my samsung keyboard in AZERTY ?
You can also try Swiftkey X Free!. It's really good and free!

Samsung keyboard supports French!
samsung keybaord already has the language change feature u just need to download the french language for the keyboard..

Just go to the keyboard settings..there has to be a additional language download option somewhere...
I cannot download another language in the setting, or it is not in Parameters / Locale and text / Samsung keypad / Input Languages
I think u might just need to download another keyboard then....

Cm10 supports hebrew in T9 only if you change the system language to hebrew how can I change it without changing the system language
