[Q] Broker SIM tray of neo v - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I have a xperia neo v but unfortunately one of the pin of sim tray is broken. I gave it to service center but I have been told that sim tray is attached to motherboard and whole motherboard need to be replaced which will cost almost 75% cost of the phone. I still suspect that such a small issue would cause replacing motherboard. Can somebody please confirm this if anybody has any idea on internal circuitry of neo v.

[Help]Sim Slot pin broke down

Hi, today while inserting sim card(with some force ofcourse as it was not going in easily), sim card stuck there and after half an hour hard work, I was able to pull the sim out. After that everytime I inserted the sim, phones says no Sim Card
I figured out that one of the sim slot pin is broke and its not properly making any contact with the part of sim.
So, I wanted to know if anybody faces the same issue and whether they have contacted the Sony Service center and any estimation of cost to be incurred in repair.
Or anyone got their phone repaired by simply soldering the Sim Slot on the motherboard as when I disassembled the phone, I found that the sim slot is soldered on the motherboard.
Any suggestions???
I guess that you could do this:
1. Resoldering
Remove all the cover. Separate everything from the motherboard.
Desolder the SIM slot. Get a old SIM slot from a old phone(Or just get it somehow). Then Solder it, wait for it the dry and reassemble.
2. Turning the warped contact back.
Do the same steps as step 1. Then use a tweezer and gently twist the contacts back. But be careful, it may end up worse.
3. Give it to Sony
Only do this if it is still under warranty. Replacement of motherboard is very expensive,to the extent you would rather buy a new phone.
They will most likely replace the whole motherboard.. The price of the motherboard is approximately 80% of the whole phone normally. Backup your data first.
Last one
Buy a new phone. But first you must be loaded.
Hope it helps!

[Q] Dystroyed UBS Charging connector

The phone was charging in the car as I was in an accident. The port inside the phone is damaged and I cannot charge it
Found a replacement part here : http://goo.gl/07DRq However it is compatible with the One X Only from what the merchant tells me.
If any of you experienced this problem and found the part please tell me,
I may have to send it to HTC for repair given the lack of this part on the market
Thank you

[Q] Motherboard problem

Hey guys,
My HTC Desire V recently stopped working. It just switched off suddenly and I am not able to switch it back on. Its not charging either. I gave it for repair and they say that there is some issue with the motherboard and it needs to be replaced. Now, my phone is not under warranty and the motherboard replacement is actually quite costly. Any suggestions? Is there some method by which I can get it back on?
In case replacing the motherboard is the only option left, is there any way I can maybe sell it somewhere? As in, is there a market for dead phones?

Oh yeah, perhaps you have the same problem as here
Suggestions is to replace only eMMC KMSJS000KM-B308 in your motherboard (of course if you know how to use programmer e.g. Riff Box JTAG and soldering station). Or just replace whole motherboard (quickly and easily at home).

[Q] Sim slot is clogged due to a plastic peice

actually i had a nano sim and moto e accepts micro so i made out a plastic peice cutout to insert with my sim
the problem is it didn't even work and when i pulled it back the nano sim came out but not the plastic peice
now what do you suggest i should do
my moto e is rooted and xposed so no warranty i guess
should i remove the screws and try that way or should i take it to customer care and pay them for repairing. plus the customer care is very far from my home
plz help fast
Well if anyone is wondering what happened
A piece of advice : don't do it
I have a single sim moto e because of my foolishness
Use a adapter or if something like this happens go to service center
