[Q] NTFS Internal Storage

Hi all,
I've accidentally formatted my galaxy s2 internal storage to NTFS file system ( I want to format the external sd .. )
Now my s2 ( with CM9 and Syah kernel ) of course can't see the internal storage....
There is a way to recover my internal storage ??
Thanks
Reformat the internal storage in your phone, or with PC format in FAT32, or in CWM select format internal storage.

So there is no way to mount the file system ntfs to see in windows and make a backup of files ?
As imagined CWM Recovery can't format the internal stoge... "Error to mount /sdcard"

Hi cvrkimi,
I bumbed over a site with some instructions similar to what you need, only they are for a Galaxy Nexus. You could try finding similar.
Here's the link http ://www.droidforums.net/forum/galaxy-nexus-development/209149-backup-sd-partition-using-dd.html
Cheers,
Stefan.
Had the same issue now back to normal..

I took like 6 hours to figure this out since i had the same problem but its very simple to solve. To solve this just use odin software and reinstall back to the orginal Android OS (in my case 4.03 that i installed). Follow the mentioned instruction below in the site that xda doesnt let me provide the link to. Look for this title in google How To Download And Install Official Android 4.0.3 ICS Update On Galaxy S II Right Now and follow it
and you'll be back to normal.
Doing this should reset everything, install the new OS and redo the file system format by converting the accidental NTFS - FAT32. phew

[Q] Need help with editing PIT file for Samsung Galaxy I9100G

Hello i've a Samsung Galaxy I9100G with a 1.97GB Internal storage and 11.00GB USB storage.
So i saw this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2353551 and tried it with the pit files in there but those for i9100 and my phone got soft bricked and i set it back to my default pit file and now the phone is fixed but i have no idea how to edit my PIT file so i can install my apps and keep my files in there. This could be different i don't need much space for files in my phone i have 8GB and 16GB external sd cards so i just need app space in my phone.
I checked the post but it says to increase block size
but when i increase it shouldn't i be decreasing something else?
and if i increase the block size should i increase block count too ?
my DATAFS is 2.449.408KB but my UMS is 6.643.712KB where is the 11GB?
my hidden partition is 29.720.508KB how is that possible if i have a 16GB phone without my sd card inserted?
So in short i need my internal space to go up to at least 10GB so i can install what i want.
I attached my default pit to the post so if you can edit it or explain it to me how do i go about doing this i'll be greatful. :fingers-crossed:

[Q] nand partition not mounted

Hey everyone
A have an A31 series tablet with 16 GB storage.
It has 1 GB internal storage( where apps are installed) an about 11 GB internal SD card storage.
It seemed that the internal storage was too low for me so I tried to partition nand as I was going to have 3 GB of internal memory.
When I finished partitioning and rebooted my device I realized that I didn't change any partition, but system couldn't recognize my 11 GB internal SD memory.
I know that allwiner tablets have problems with mounting partitions( i found out after a few days of googling).
Now here's the big deal: is it possible to do it by merging the nand kernel source and how do I do it or there's ather way?
My device can boot with no problems and I'm rooted.
Thanks
I'm looking forward for your replies.

[Q] No Internal SD card after re-partitioning PIT file

So, I found this thread and used the S959G Pit file to increase my app storage space but at the risk of losing my internal SD card or /emmc
Modded Pit file for SGH-S959G http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3829
Modded Pit file for SGH-I777 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...de-partition-i777-phone-data-storage-t2839161
TWRP says "E:Unable to mount '/emmc'
Cyanogenmod 12.1 sees the Internal SD card but formatting does nothing, it tries to, it shows the levels of what is using the space after formatting but quickly disappears two seconds later
Storage Partitions apps don't see the Internal SD card at all
and finally CyanogenMod Files shows '/storage/sdcard0/storage/secure' but I think that's a ghost.
Did I damage the Internal SD card?
My odin flashes where:
1.Flashed the Modded S959G pit for more storage, I freaked out and went to flash the I777 Pit and TWRP v2.7.1.0
2.Then flashed the i777_4GB data - 45mb preload - 1GB system pit file and CM 12.1 never booted
3.Flashed the Modded S959G pit and CM1 2.1 booted.
I hope I can still use the Internal SD card again
Any help or hope is needed at this point. :crying:
Did you ever get this figured out? I'm having the same issue that you are having right now
