Please help while using my gs3 it just goes into sleep mode. For example yesterday I was on a phone call and in the middle off my call it goes into sleep mode and shuts my call down. So I hit the home button and the phone came right up in lock screen. I unlocked the phone and it worked normally. It's done this while in svoice as well. Do I need to take it back and get a new phone or is there some configuration that can solve this

could be too many processes going on. is the battery hot when it reboots itself?
Hello,
I was told there was an update for the Samsung Galaxy S and I have the mesmeris from US Cellular.
I downloaded the walk through for it and pulled the battery our and got in to download mode with no problems. I followed the instructions and it said it was downloading it to my phone. Then right around 99 percent it said error on my computer. and my phone just stayed at 99% or well the bar was like almost to the end on the download mode screen. I unplugged the USB and pulled the battery again and tried the whole thing over. Same thing. When I went to boot the phone up it showed a "phone" - ! - "Computer" symbol. So I downloaded odin and tried to wipe everything back to the original. now when i put the battery in instead of booting up, it shows an AT&T world phone and will stay on that screen. It wont let me get back in to the download mode again. Can someone please help me out? I am so lost about this and would like to try and get this fixed :/

You mean the wrong update from the samgung site?
Any Idea how to get it back to US Cellular so it is not saying AT&T?
It wont let me get to the download mode now. Every time I try it nothing happens and it just shows a white screen with a globe and says AT&T World Phone

Lately my phone is taking anywhere from 10-20 seconds to start a call after I start it. I'm on stock Verizon ICS, rooted. It's only started doing in the last couple months and does it when using a contact shortcut or from a text. I'll hit the call button from the contact and it takes 15-20 seconds to actually begin the call. Any help or ideas would be great, I really don't want to have to do a complete wipe on my phone. Thanks
Mine did this the first time yesterday. I am on jb rom though.

Try restarting the phone...or wipe cache if you are rooted.

This has happened to me a couple of times as well, but while using the dialer. In fact, it happened today.
I dialed a number and it took almost 30 seconds before I heard it ringing.
Grabbed my wife's phone, dialed the same number, and it took 45 seconds to start ringing.
Called the number again, using landline. Almost instantaneous ring.
As Verizon is so happy to say "It's the network!"
When I get home my wifi automatically turns on like it should, problem is the 4g stays active and confuses the phone which now thinks it has no data connection. On all my other phones including my s3 the 4G always goes dormant when wifi is connected. I end up having to turn off the mobile data tab to disconnect the 4G.
Question is does anyone else's note 2 do this, or is it just my phone, or maybe there is a setting I missed.
It becomes a problem because I can't receive mms while 4g is off and when I leave the house I forget to turn it back on and don't receive emails etc
Thanks ahead of time
