Just double checking... If this is true, the the list in SamMobile is mistakenly swapped. Coz the the XTC there is for SUN.

1. carrier differences
2. they're pretty much the same
3. bootloop might occur. no, it will not mean multi sim support.
for number 3? still confuse why did they put it if it cant read neither globe or smart or sun simcards?
Call drop problem
Hey guys, does any of you here in this thread knows how to fix the call drop problem on sgs3? Just bought my sgs3 two weeks ago and I can hardly receive or make a call, often in drops. I can't make calls. As I have read on this forum, some says it can be fixed through modem firmware change, but I have already installed five different modem firmwares and nothing happens. Most of the time I can't send text messages and neither make a call because of the modem from a different region.
Just hoping someone could help me with my problem. Btw, I'm on Sun Cellular carrier.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you so much!
anyone know wht version of firmware that can use SUN GLOBE SMART?
i have a problem my phone from KSA it happens it use sun globe smart.etc.. after using some rom & downgrade to orignal it happens that i cant use any sim.. please help..

to be honest with you I dont have a clue if installing a different version does make any difference, have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278 for any IRL roms else maybe try the one from CPW Uk or just wait for somebody to explain it about the versions
uk o2 here with this version XWKF3/baseband ke7
Where did u buy it, is it from some operator (branded device), if yes, then which one, or it is in free sale in some store (unbranded) ?
If you bought it from vodafone ireland, then you have firmwares here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
firs and second edition.

Hi there. I just took a look at the firmware you flashed and seen the problem straight away.
I9300XXBLH1 Download (Thanks To SamMobile!)
Base Firmware: I9300XXBLH1 (4.0.4)
Region Europe
Country: Nordic Countries
Carrier: Unbranded
Build Date: 31 July 2012
Modem: XXLH1
CSC: NEEBLH1
Change List: 928452
Notice above that the region says Europe. And for it to work on Indian Networks it needs to be an Indian Unbranded firmware.
So the reason it because of the Region you downloaded was not the one needed.
I would advice either going back to the firmware you had before, or finding an Indian Official Firmware mate.
Hope this has helped

Don't panic I have been there and done that.
You should be able to not enter a code and still use the phone offline. If you can do that you should be able to access the functions and see if the ROM is rooted, if it isn't grab yourself a copy of the toolkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703488 and use it to root the ROM. Once you have done that you will be able to access root functionality and allow you to run applications such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846451&highlight=voodoo
Good luck ROM warrior. hopefully you will unlock your device and join us in the promised land.
Personally I got fed up of that shift a while ago so i started buying unbranded phones.

Hi ..Just to let you know that is not true.... I live in Zimbabwe (Southern Africa) were the firmware is XEF.... I am using BTU british firmware in Africa without any problem and getting british updates. I know a lot of people who use all sorts of different country versions in their country... As long as your rom version matches your csc it will be fine. If it doesnt then one can manually change the csc and get official updates of the new firmware version.
Cheers

Im trying to flash the official S3 firmware via Odin, i went to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9300/---/
But i cant figure out which one to download. I live in NZ but im not with Vodafone(Vodafone - VNZ) (im with TwoDegrees), so which file to download?
Is New Zealand - NZC a sim free FW?
*I couldnt find a 2Degrees FW

You can flash NZC to your maybe carrier locked S3 and it would not be a problem. I am from Romania and flashed a British firmware with no problem. No, NZC firmware does not magically unlock to a sim-free status. If the meaning of the question is that if the NZC firmware would work with 2Degrees the question is YES.
Hello guys, so I've seen that Android 10 was released in France, but not with the XEF or SFR CSCs. Can I still flash the other ones and change the CSC afterwards?
My carrier is SFR, if I flash a BOG ROM, it won't read my SIM, right?
Thanks.

if youre on the G965F and want 10, youd need to flash the multi CSC version of 10 available for your phone. It should work with your sim regardless of which one you flash, just might not get the best signal is all. Matter of fact, yes, you could flash whatever firmware you want then your specific CSC and itll be fine
Hello guys! I know this is a well talked subject, but i'm still trying my luck... I have S21 SM-G991 with ORO (Orange Romania) csc... I'm looking to change it to DBT (open Germany), i tried lots of thinks, writing different firmwares with ODIN, tones of dialer codes, but nothing. Even worse, i end up having ORO/EUX CSC and SamFrew cant find anymore firmwares for my device... Any ideea how i can get that DBT CSC? Thanks!
P.S. First photo is with the CSC i had out of the box and second one with the CSC i ended.
