[Q] Phone rings through speaker when on bluetooth. Any solutions? - HTC Amaze 4G

Hey everybody
I have been having this HTC Amaze 4G for a few months now on Videotron's network and I've been having all sort of issues with bluetooth.
One of the most annoying issue is that the phone will still rings through the speakers when it's on bluetooth. I still hear a ringtone (not the one I choose, but still a tone) through the bluetooth headset, but the phone will still emit my chosen ringtone through the speakers.
I tried to go through the phone settings to see if that's an option, but I haven't found it (which doesn't mean it's not there).
So, anybody has any idea how to fix it so that it only rings through the bluetooth headset while on bluetooth?
Here's the info on my phone :

Bluetooth / HF problem

Good morning,
A one pleasure - if anybody know solution. I have a problem with SII and car BT set (s). Recognizing and pairing are O.K. Also dialing but - if is a number were dialed - I did not hear opposite side and from loudspeaker is hearing only an internal car cabin noise and appear acoustic feedback. BT is unusable. Generally - problem seems to income from SII. Not from HF. for what? I was try to on bout my cars wit different HF sets and for sure - on another two cars. Result - still the same...
HW/SW info:

-Core revision:2.6.35.7-I9100XWKE2-CL187606
-Base band revision:I9100XXKDJ
-Operation System: Stock 2.3.2

[Q] No sound at all

Hi to all members of the forum, I have a galaxy vibrant sgh-959 and the problem is that, there's no sound at all, can't hear incoming calls or people can't hear me either, no sound for ring tones, or anything that comes out the speaker or the phone, it seems that all the files are there but no sound, thank you for your help.
It would help to know what rom you are using
Maybe a bad installation, you need to share more info.

I'm sorry for not put in all the information, sgh-t959 firmware version 2.2, baseband ver t959uvkb5 kernel version 2.6.32.9 build number froyo.uvkb5
So you're running stock; wow. It might be a hardware issue. You can try to reflash the stock rom of just open the dial pad on your phone and type *2767*3855# which will do a factory reset on your phone
I just did a factory reset and still the same, no sound from anywhere, could be that speaker is bad? One thing I forgot to mention is that if I used the Bluetooth in the car it worked, (phone rings, pandora works,) but out of the car nothing works, you can feel the vibration on incoming calls and you can call, but no sound either from callers or from my side
For my thinking it could be some bad drivers, or the speaker is defective.

What type of drivers, I just downgrade back to stock like when it was new and still the same
Hmm probarly is the speaker.

[Q] Where is the Audio, HSP Profile in Bluetooth????

Okay here is my phone specifications
Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
Android version 4.0.3
Baseband version I9100XXLPW
Kernel Version 3.0.15-I9100XWLPD-CL524746 [email protected] #3
Bulid number IML74K.XXLPD
ROM Version CriskeloServanTEAM ICS V10
THEME version Theme ICS
Now I might come across as a bit thick here but my problem is with the Bluetooth, when I pair any Bluetooth headset to the phone only the phone profile shows up, this allows the phone to communicate with the headset allowing calls to be received via the headset. On some headsets the ringtone also routes through the headset, on others an audible bleep is sounded on incoming calls. My question is, why isn't there the HSP (hands free profile) this profile allows other media sounds such as notification, email and messaging alerts to be routed through any paired Bluetooth devices. I have trawled through this site and various other sites for an answer but so far I have drawn a blank. There are a couple of apps available but one of these which is very capable is very battery hungry, the other which is a paid for app does not quite live up to the hype. I would appreciate any advice, information.
Same Problem
Even I am facing the same problem

AOKP-NEO 1.2 Question (Firmware, sound quality, bluetooth)

Hello I was hoping that someone could help me out here.
I have the latest radios but I'm not sure how to check what firmware I'm on. I have terrible battery life on this ROM and he suggested that it could be a firmware issue.
Second I have terrible sound quality on phone calls. Anyone know why that is?
Lastly when I use bluetooth it works for like 5 seconds then just stops playing audio through the bluetooth device.
Thank you for your help
Calling sounds are a known issue, and Bluetooth may still have issues besides calling.
As for me, I have to connect my headset and play something within a few seconds or it will drop the connection. But, once I do that it stays connected.

Blueooth issue with car kit

I have the Galaxy S3 (unbranded, rootet) with the following software:
4.1.2 (stock, build JZO54K.I9300XXELL4)
Baseband: I9300XXLH1
Kernel: 3.0.31-566833
When the phone is connected via bluetooth to my car kit (audi, bns5) I have the follwoing issue:
As soon as the phone is connected to the car kit, the car kit shows an "active phone call" originated by my own phone number and I can hear myself. The voice has lot´s of echo and sound like an alien. This issue also happens when I try to call someone (phone starts dialling but on the car speakers I only hear myself). If someone calls me then everything is fine. The issue does not happen when I use my old Nokia 6230 connected via bluetooth.
Audi already upgraded the bluetooth module in my car to the latest firmware, but no improvement so far.
Can you please help me. This issue is driving me crazy because I can not use the car kit anymore.
Would it help to upgrade the radio software of the S3?
Thanks!
