my battery status is just showing that the Android OS is the only item draining my battery at 100%. no other items are listed such as Cell Standby, Screen etc. i rebooted and even wiped cache but it still shows the same. anyone have this happen?
that will be back to normal once you fully charge your phone. if you want immediate change wipe battery stats

thanks.
Wiping battery stats does "nothing"
Simply fully charging your phone and rebooting after will do the job

Charge phone to 100% keep plugged into charger reboot in to cwr under advanced wipe battery stats and then reboot then unplug charger drain battery until it turns off this might help. Also if you are not using the stock kernel that could give you bad battery life
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
battery conditioning isnt gonna extend battery life as most people think.. all it does is give more accurate battery % reading.
battery depends on how much you use your phone, brightness settings, what/ how many widgets and apps you have and how often do you use them.
im running axura 2.1 just checked 17hrs 34mins unplugged with 32% left
my brightness is at 60% about 2hours total calls, checked ESPNscore about 5 times, roughly 100 or so txt messages, checked Yahoomail and FBook more or less 8-10times each. NO WIDGETS RUNNING, not auto synching with GMail.
** i always odin to stock, then after flashing a new ROM in CWM, i always wipe cache partition, dalvik cache, and battery stats before rebooting**
well hope this helps
Thanks

This all started when I updated to the new updated version of Android OS that Motorola pushed out. Any thoughts? I just got the phone 3 weeks ago.

try calibrating your battery (Battery Calibrator on the market) or deleting the battery cache file.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Do you know which works best? There are two apps with the same "Battery Calibrator" name in the market.

What is this app supposed to do? Does it really work?
theres no need to use a app to calibrate your battery i usually just let it deplete to until the phone turns off then plug it in and go straight to cwm and erase battery stats then let it charge to full then reboot into cwm and erase battery stats again.
Are you using faux123 kernel or you are stock?
Please im having same problem can u explain that again for a noob i have cwm just can u put a lil detailed way to do that

Are you asking how to wipe battery stats in CWM? If so..then if your using the latest CWM (that doesn't require you to be plugged in) simply power off your phone, then hold the power button and volume down button (at same time) until Fastboot appears on your screen, then use the volume down button til you see Android Recovery, hit power button to select, use your volume rocker to navigate to Advanced, hit power button to select, then navigate to Wipe Battery Stats and hit power button to select. After that just Go Back until you see Reboot Phone and select that.
No im using the older one that u have to b plugged in can u still do that

Recently I bought a new backup battery for my ray.
I try to charge the new battery and after this I install my original battery again.
But after this, I go to *#*#SERVICE#*#* and see that the actual batt(uAh) just is very low.
Then I downloaded the "battery calibration" app to see if it can help me.
Now is the problem, after I "calibrate" my battery, my phone's battery goes very fast, and final 1% of my battery last about 3hours!
so I think that the reading of my phone is not correct, what can I really do?

that WILL help... and this one too :
or if U don't have recovery : just recharge to 100% and then play games (to make ur battery percent become 1% ) so ur phone would go off and then recharge while the phone is off (to 100%):good::good::good::good:
All this chat about "battery calibration" and "wiping battery stats" is bull****, it won't help you. And to previous poster - that won't help on our devices.
OP: Did you buy genuine SE battery?
Sent from my Xperia Arc S using xda premium
of course,
i am living in hk and i bought this phone from my carrier.
So the battery must be the genuine se battery.
I have read that the battery calibration doesn't work and also I have tried it with no effect.....
So what's your opinion on that??????
Request to mods if not suitable topic to be discussed plz close the thread..... Thanks
My understanding is, that battery calibrators delete battery stats files. This will happen anyway when you charge your phone. So there is no need to calibrate the battery, it does automatocally once you fully charge your phone.

You should learn something about Android before posting stupid posts... You can delete your battery stats and this won't be better battery life... NEVER.

If you have battery problems, charge to 100%, drain it untill it shuts the phone down and then charge it to 100% turned off if possible. I do this whenever I change ROM.
it's not healthy to do this often! Once a month is okay.
clearing battery stats won't do much help
I have been having issues with my battery for a long time...at first I thought a virus might be draining all the battery...but when I scanned my files with a AV nothing was found...A few days later I noticed that my screen would blink with the LED and illumination bar every time a notification would display due to an app...so I simply uninstalled the app and voila back to normal.
