I did notice that my stock 2.3.6 battery indicator shows wrong level. It shows full until it reaches 70%, shows 50% when it is 25%. It looks like it shows more battery than it actually is. Any fix for that?

i checked my battery stat and it shows that "android system" is using up 48% of the battery.... is that normal? and what is causing it?
It's not using 48%, just that's the proportion it's using. If, for example, you were playing a game that ate the battery, then for the same stats it would decrease and the game's % would increase. See what I mean?

A simple search of XDA will reveal Android OS and other assorted battery faqs .
Normal depends upon usage and users settings and apps .

Recently I bought a new backup battery for my ray.
I try to charge the new battery and after this I install my original battery again.
But after this, I go to *#*#SERVICE#*#* and see that the actual batt(uAh) just is very low.
Then I downloaded the "battery calibration" app to see if it can help me.
Now is the problem, after I "calibrate" my battery, my phone's battery goes very fast, and final 1% of my battery last about 3hours!
so I think that the reading of my phone is not correct, what can I really do?

Try to Fully recharge it to 100% and then go to CWM and remove battery stat and Reboot..
Hope that help

that WILL help... and this one too :
or if U don't have recovery : just recharge to 100% and then play games (to make ur battery percent become 1% ) so ur phone would go off and then recharge while the phone is off (to 100%):good::good::good::good:
All this chat about "battery calibration" and "wiping battery stats" is bull****, it won't help you. And to previous poster - that won't help on our devices.
OP: Did you buy genuine SE battery?

of course,
i am living in hk and i bought this phone from my carrier.
So the battery must be the genuine se battery.

Sonetimes while playing games phone was 58 to 60% charged n phone switchd off due to low battery within 10 mins
After i turned it on it showed 1 % n was prgrssvly increasing n reach 27% after 5 hours
If i fully charge the fone it just takes 6 to7 hrz for battery to becone 20 or 30 with no use at all
Abd on other hand all battery testing apps show good battery health status

Wait for his reply before jumping all these premature conclusions. Simple
I already know what is causing his problems, but he has to first post his ROM & kennel details before i can proffer any solution for him.

Battery calibration apps don't work. The s2 calibrates its own battery. You can try to reset fuel gauge chip through extweaks if you are using siyah kernel, but I have not seen a difference when I do that

I have read that the battery calibration doesn't work and also I have tried it with no effect.....
So what's your opinion on that??????
Request to mods if not suitable topic to be discussed plz close the thread..... Thanks
My understanding is, that battery calibrators delete battery stats files. This will happen anyway when you charge your phone. So there is no need to calibrate the battery, it does automatocally once you fully charge your phone.

You should learn something about Android before posting stupid posts... You can delete your battery stats and this won't be better battery life... NEVER.
Sent from my LT22i using xda-developers app
If you have battery problems, charge to 100%, drain it untill it shuts the phone down and then charge it to 100% turned off if possible. I do this whenever I change ROM.
it's not healthy to do this often! Once a month is okay.
clearing battery stats won't do much help
I have been having issues with my battery for a long time...at first I thought a virus might be draining all the battery...but when I scanned my files with a AV nothing was found...A few days later I noticed that my screen would blink with the LED and illumination bar every time a notification would display due to an app...so I simply uninstalled the app and voila back to normal.
