[Q]reverting to stock rom

Hi folks, im really new with android phones and i recently purchased a used x10i running on a 2.3.5 gb with a custom rom (MUIU -1.10.14_Cobrato) kernel 2.6.29.
the phone is working just fine but its cluttered with the previous owners apps and the 8gb micro sd card is full of his stuff.
Can i use pc companion to revert it back to stock rom (with SE launcher with timescape and mediascape) or do i need to use flashtool and a certain firmware?
any help would highly be appreciated. Thank you in advance
Yes you can use pcc to get back to stock rom. U might as well format your sd card to completely remove all data as using pcc wont.

Yes this is true. Formate the SD card in settings/storage/erase Sd card. I'd prefer flashing because some files on the sd you need(folders). UP TO YOU THO

[Q] Custom roms that support 64 GB microSD(sdxc) ?

Hello
Do any of you know of any custom roms that will 100% support the use of microSD 64 GB cards (SDXC)? Both of the roms i use (ICS Slim 4.2 and Energy HD 1.7) do not. I'm testing and testing roms but so far no luck.
Thanks in advance
roms have nothing to do with the compatibility of sdcards.... The kernel does

Slim ICS is running the Siyah kernel which should support the exfat module right? Not working.
Try formatting your partition as fat32.
You'll need to remove the card from the phone and use a special program on the computer to do so.
Compatibility with fat32 should be far better than with exfat.
Altough you could try formatting it with ntfs, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for the suggestion but even if i would want to lose write/read speeds by doing that, I still wouldn't be able to do i because I do not have a card reader anymore.
After searching all over, the answer was closer than I thought. OMEGA 7.1 did the trick for me. Thank you again for the help.

Sprint-ROM Manager won't use ext sd card

Has anybody gotten ROM Manager to use the external sd card instead of internal phone storage? My box to use external storage is greyed out and won't let me select it.
Thanks
Kenny,
5.8.4.9 is still having limited issues here, previous version 5.8.4.7 will see both cards. But .9 at least is rom manager ready...hey, I think you told me that!
So it is not possible yet and we are waiting on Rom Manager/CWM to update still?

Correct, looks like the i9300 has a version 6.0.1.0 dated July 20...so I would venture the D2SPR will get one this week, but just a guess

Dualbooting / memory (have searched)

Hi guys
A quick question I have not been able to find the answer to.
I have omega v31 installed as the 1st Rom on my I9300 and this was an update I applied last night. I then installed extsd2intsd on my device
This morning I tried dual booting and installed cm10 nightly build as the 2nd Rom.
Only question is in order to have the extsd2intsd mod work on the second Rom do I now need to format the memory ext memory card again as I only did it last night or can I just flash the extsd2intsd mod and it will work on cm10 same as it does on Omega?
I know cm10 doesn't support ext fat ext cards.I formatted ext sd card as ext fat32 so I assume that would be ok?
Just need to know how to get the mod working on both roms?
Thanks in advance

please help

I came from a 4.1.1 ROM and I backed up and formatted my card to Fat32,I'm now running this ROM and now my card isn't allowing me to restore anything from it, I can see it but can't do anything with it, no error message or anything.... I'm so confused... Please help ASAP
If you switched to a 4.2.x rom you wont be able to restore anuthing due to where 4.2 roms store info... due to the multi user modes.

So finish that explanation. OP check the cm10.1 thread. In the op is a downgrade zip. Flash that then restore your backup

I'm confused, what ROM are you on and what ROM, are you wanting to go to? as far as your pictures, all that is so on your sd card and will be if you flash that zip fin the cm10.1 thread. They are just stored in different directories. The 4.2 ROMs have different directories then 4.1to make multi user possible. So before going any further answer my last question and we'll get you straight.

Ok I came from a 4.1.1 Rom, now I'm using Liquid Smooth 2.3 which is a 4.2.2 Rom and I made sure my sd card was fat32 backed up everything... That's where I'm stuck
