I think you can, I just got a cover for my DX and the packaging said it's meant for both models. Might want to check out ebay.

How much is the cover for Desire X?
It's practically the same phone, but Desire V has dual SIM capatibility.
My old original HTC case from my Desire fits my Desire V nice and snug, the X is the same size.
i m using the cover n protector ov desire v on my desire x,it perfectly its the phone...
i use the desire v capdase, its fit perfectly....:good: even the screen guard too...
To clear this up ONCE & FOR ALL, the answer is yes! You can interchange the Desire X and Desire V screen guard and casing The below picture highlights this to the last end

The dimensions is same. The weight is same. The screen size is same. Finally the body is same and the only difference is DX has single sim and DV has dual sim

I broke mine, and parts4repair sells only Desire V digitizer, and nothing for Desire X. I am experienced inservicing but never had the chance to open any of them yet.

i broke mine too, a guys from a gsm service told me that the suplier had both phones with the same digitizer and display..

It's practically the same phone, the V same size with ur DX

... From what i have gathered all of the videos prior to the flyer's release seem to have the "cooler" rounded one ... and all of the ones that people have purchased seem to have the other...

i was definitely signed up for htc sense ... i know because i had to create a 2nd account (with another email) - it wouldn't let me use the one that is also registered on my DHD.

I noticed the rounded dock in the HTC Hub and downloaded the skin/theme that had it, but when I chose it to be the active skin/theme, it did not change the dock on my Flyer.

I can't even see it in the Skins in HTC Hub....
The rounded 3D looking bar dock is on all of the pre-installed "scenes" on my Flyer. If that is what you mean. I am using a default scene. The extra scenes on HTC hub have the semicircular non-3D looking dock.
Update: although they appear with rounded dock bars online, my flat dock did not change to rounded when I applied the new "scene" strange.

Having had a look, its in the scenes, but they dont actually look that way. Shame really! I wonder if that is going to be the look when we eventually get Honeycomb.
Glad I'm not the only one who wanted the cool dock... got rid of my flyer the other day (within refund period, was HK version)... will purchase UK version soon...

I received my mini pro today at 2pm (GMT) and at 6pm (GMT) I dropped the mini pro and the charger onto the bed lightly, about 2 inches away from the bed. The charger merely banged against the screen and the digitizer is now smashed, as pictured. I did receive one a couple of weeks ago, but it wouldnt switch on, so I sent it back, received a new one, and now this. I don't think I will be buying a Sony Ericsson again, as this is my 3rd phone with them that has had problems.

I've had a HTC Desire HD for over a year now, and it's still in fantastic condition, not even a tiny mark on the screen or the phone itself.
Where is the cheapest place to buy a new digitizer, preferably not from Asia.
Holy ish... Thats unfortunate. Ive accidentally dropped my phone from 2-3 meters height onto concrete and it barely scratched.
I dropped my phone like a meter off the ground and still no scratches.
Never had problems like that not on my mini pro neither with the old mini pro. You're really unlucky.

I accidentally dropped my Mini Pro (actually I forgot I had left it there) from the table surface onto solid ground and it still works fine.
Because this phone fairly new you wont find digitizers. Why dont you pay for repair ?
Or just get a friend with a household insurance and tell them he dropped the phone. They'll pay for it
Sony Ericsson seen the image above on my twitter, they then sent me a DM telling me to send it back and they'll send me another one. They really didn't have to do that, very grateful. Hopefully this new one will have no problems lol

Has anyone noticed that the camera lens is getting scratched easily? I would asume that this happens on the HOX as well. Even if I have a case on it, the camera lens is exposed.

I found a great solution to prevent from scratches on lens. U have to buy screen protector and something that is used to make a gap in leather belts (dont know how its call in English but it looks like this (its not expensive):

U need size 9mm (9.5mm). Just use hammer + this thing on screen protector to get proper size of lens protector and place it to your lens. That's it. Now I don't care about scratches anymore

Nice idea, I was thinking on using the paper hole maker that is used on the office, but I was wondering about the size. I will try to see if I can find one of this somewhere.

Just saw that my camera lens has a scratch after 2 months too. I used from the beginning a case. Must be really cheap plastic or glass. My GNex that I used without case had not one scratch on the camera glass after 6 months.

Do you guys think it would be safe to apply Polywatch on the camera lens to fix the scratches?
Somebody wants to sell a RAZR for $50 but the catch is that it has a cracked screen. Assuming the touch screen is working, would I be able to buy an outer glass panel similar to this one for the RAZR M:

Yes, but it's a little bit tricky since the LCD is atatched to the screen, you have to buy the bezel from some guy in ebay and use that, or buy the whole screen + bezel (arround 180 dlls).
I know this because I recently broke mine and got it repaired here in Mexico (it should be a lot easier in USA)

Actually there's no way. When I broke my glass, I realized that the display and the glass were all together. It's very thin and impossible to separate.

My Droid Razr display glass was cracked and the Motorola dealer here in Egypt said that I have to replace not only the glass but the whole display (Glass and LCD).
None To be found yet!
I have had a terrible time finding a case solution. I've been all over the online stores looking and came up empty. The only options available seem to be from AT&T. They are way too expensive! :crying:

I have bought this one, not too bad. This Ebay store has other cases for the Padfone X also. I'm happy with this one.

I purchased one from Amazon, they have many derivatives and colors of this one, just search for "LF 4 in 1 Bundle Padfone X" and you should get several hits.
The one at the AT&T Store from Incipio is TERRIBLE and a very poor value for money. I purchased it and ended up returning it because it was just poor quality and actually did not protect the phone from drops etc. It was just a face cover.
FYI
The Seidio spring-clip holster for the LG G3 (without case) fits nearly perfectly - just need a small adhesive rubber bumper on the top clip to prevent the slight movement as the G3 is slightly taller but otherwise nearly the same dimensions as the PX (the kind you stick on the bottom of things to prevent scratching/movement).
With a little creative use of a Dremel, the Incipio station cover works with the mobile dock.
I ould have done better on one side, but it will do for now.
