iPhone Emojii for HTC EVO LTE - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I neeeed the emojii that the iPhone has, thats the only thing I think I miss, other than facetime (that'll never happen)
I need to be able to see the emojii that they send, and if i could send the ones they have that'd be awesome. Ive searched and to no availl.

There are a bunch of apps for this in the play store, I don't know if any of those are what you want.

Yea Ive searched, i just want a mod/app/hack/etc to add a button to my swift keyboard 3 to go to emoji and at the same time be able to see the ones iPhones send me

Get Handcent and the Handcent Emojii plugin. Got a smiley from a friend yesterday from an I phone that was just a blank line. She said that it was a smiley so I installed the plugin then could see it.

^^^^ THIS^^^^ They only way I've been able to send/receive emojii's that could be seen on my and the iPhone with the stock messenger was when I installed CM10. It works great. Handcent also works but I like the feel of stock.

[Suggestions] Best App for Texting from Tablet

Looking for an App that will let me send texts from my touchpad to my phone,
I have seen a few but i really want to hear what other people are using to get it done. or if this is just something i like the idea of
I have a google voice account but i hate that it doesn't use my real phone number, also before you talk about the integration, its UI is horrible so i would rather not use it.

I don't know about texts because of your touchpad doesn't have phone signal, but why not just email yourself?

I think he just wants to be able to use his tablet to send texts via his phone. Meaning, he can come home and plug his phone in and use his tablet to send/receive texts from his phone. I am interested in the same thing actually. I don't wanna tote my phone around with me, if I'm chilling downstairs and using my tablet.

if you havent done so on sprint. get on Google voice.(its free for sprint) u can use the official Google voice apps on your tablet to send text thru wifi, also received them.
i tried a bunch of apps on my touchpad but never found one that works as good as google voice. my touchpad and phone are both set up with google voice and it's integrated with my sprint phone number so no weird number to deal with. works great for me. only thing is once you integrate, no more going back to vvm unless you call sprint to get it set back up.

If google would spend about 20 minutes working on google voices UI I would probably use it.
I will look into airdroid, tablet text also has a decent amount of good reviews so I have been looking into that as well

Just an fyi: If you want the push notifications, you have to press the version number like 10 times or something (I didnt count I just hammered it until the option became available lol)
TexTab without question. I love it, and the UI is nice and simple (uses BlueTooth). It uses your messaging app in that it uses your phone's signal and leaves the text message in the history of the conversation on your phone.

[Q] missing voicemail app

Phone: HTC EVO3D s-off running ICS/Sense to maintain appearance of being stock. At some point in the past few weeks, my voicemail app decided to vanish, possibly during a hard reset or during a drunken rampage in which I decided that all sprint bloat needed to die. Either way, I can't seem to locate a direct replacement in the play store. All I want is something to inform me of when I have new voicemails, even if it is just the standard voicemail.apk that comes with the phone. Can anyone help with this?
Have you tried Youmail? It's pretty good and it's has its own visual mail app or if you have Google voice use set it as your voice mail

I'm using youmail currently, but I'm not a fan of the stock greetings and haven't found a setting (if one exists) to personalize. I get a lot of client calls and would prefer that they hear my voice instead of a computer. Thanks for the recommendation!
I think there is a flashable zip of the Sprint voicemail app somewhere. I'm on my phone so I can't search easily. You could download a ROM with the app and get it from there.
If you have Sprint, you can get into your voicemail by dialing your own number from your cell phone. Other companies might work the same way.

WTF Google? It's just got a huge list of contacts that you cant even contact ?
I miss the status messages.
Cant go invisible
Why are G+ groups mixed in with the contacts? Make it a drop tab or something.
Only thing going for it is the ability to finally send images.

Gtalk is quickly dying, and hangouts is not getting any better. Like a few have said the inability to view your online contacts is a really big deal. I have no clue how my landline non data contacts will ever be able to accept my hangout request, why must I be spamed by people I might make a phone call to once a year, I could care less if they are using hangouts. The people I talk to on gtalk enjoy using gtalk for its cross-platform ability and the nice services provided by google, sure we could use another "Instant Messenger" service like we did before Gtalk, do we really want to? looks like decision day is quickly arriving, google just about 100% killed Gtalk on android 4.3.

Group MMS - Not showing other recipients

First, let me say love this phone.
I received an MMS, which i could tell was a group text sent to multiple people. I could read the text and see who sent it, but I was unable to see any other recipients who it was sent to. On my Nexus 4's stock messaging app, it would show the other numbers that the message was sent to. Is there anyway to enable this? Not sure if it matters, but I know it was sent from an iPhone, and was sent to myself and another iphone.
Edit- Also confirmed that my response was only sent to the original sender.
Thanks!
I don't own the G2 yet, but a great text app alternative on the Play Store is called 'Textra', and it looks just like stock Android, very system light, and super fast. It allows group messaging, and works perfectly, I always text my two brothers, one is on an iPhone, the other a Nexus, and we can keep a conversation going in one thread.

Just installed Textra and tested it. Sent a group text same from iphone to my g2 and another iphone. I received the group text in normal fashion w/ both people, however my reply was sent as a new message to the original sender and not in the original group text thread. Any idea how to fix that?
Edit - NVM, I found the MMS settings in the app, had to enable MMS for group texts and it seems to work now.

LG G Watch/ android wear Apps and updates

I use Hangouts for messaging, are there any other sms apps ppl like using that we could use our original phone number on the G watch that we can reply with?
I don't really like hangouts and how they don't show anything but Google contact photos. Just curious of to what everyone's setup is like. I'm really liking the G watch and the convenience of it, no question android wear has a long way to go.
Which apps do you find convenient and worth the download besides watch faces?
