Hi guys,
After the getting the latest update ( 4.5.141) from at&t installed my phones wifi restarts by itself for every 10 minutes. I am pretty much worried about this, it was not there before, it annoying when it shutsdown and starts again by itself.
Kindly help me.

Apparently its a known issue with the update. Here's a thread with people facing the problem...probably you can find a solution from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23045268

When I got that update back in February, my issue was that it would "cycle" both WiFi and cellular data connections every 5-10 minutes whenever WiFi was enabled - whether connected to an AP or not.
I tried to get help from AT&T and Motorola but they were both useless.
My solution was to unlock the bootloader and install CM7. I haven't looked back since!

As pre4speed already said, yes and yes. I'll just add that those were 2 of my concerns before making the move. But I've been tickled with the new rom.
Now I'm just pondering when I should start trying out CM9.

I've been playing with the different variants of cm9 and the biggest thing holding me back has been the video camera recording and finger unlock. Well I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1580449 last night and it has a video recorder you can choose in aroma! All without the use of official moto drivers. Our developers are so awesome, we may just have the finer unlock before official release. Its worth trying to see which flavor ics you like.

It seems great so far except I still can't encrypt my phone so I can add my corporate email.
No reboots....yet... that was my only issue really. Hope it's actually stable :good: looks like I'm gonna be waiting a while for the nexus 4 so it's good to have this phone stable in the meantime
Still has the freeze the first time it uses a custom ringtone bug but I've worked around that by simply making ogg versions and copying them into /system/media
Haven't gotten a reboot yet and hopefully that'll last.
I had an issue of not being able to hear on first call I made. Rebooted and it was fine. Hopefully the random reboots are cured. I'd hate to have to go back to an ICS rom
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
This is pretty good. No reboots, a couple quirks, most importantly however NEED FOR SPEED: MOST WANTED is actually the most playable on this Rom!
12 hours of average use on my part and running solid. I'm impressed and am thinking of sticking on this version for a while...
For those of you that use MHL adapters, does HDMI work now? I didn't have any luck on any JB roms including CM10 builds. I know i should try for myself but it doesn't hurt to ask, and id rather save myself the 2 hours of re downloading all my apps. Thanks

very solid for me as well and i have been using it since yesterday morning. I tried liquid smooth rc8 today and went back to stable cm10.
No reboots yet on stable.. Nice! :good::good:
Had my first reboot just now NOOOOOO, but it did last longer than other roms I have used. It rebooted when I wanted to make a call and the moment I pressed the phone icon. Phone hangs and reboots =(. I think though I am going to stick with this Rom. It's still pretty solid.
I got reboots about once every 8 to 12 hours... annoying enough I went back to a late October nightly build, more other misc issues, but is not rebooting me.
I hope eventually a Dev can look at what changed in the first couple days of November and figure out what's causing these reboots.

Dang, when can we get some actual T-Mobile only kernels so we can get WiFi calling back!?
thanks for the kernel.. worked great.. I used one from the international htc one, and when I would restart, I would hang on the 1st screen for over a minute, replaced it with this one, perfect... was able to remove from system/apps... and disable the boot sound. replace the bootanimation...

Yep. Tried it on a number of ROM and standard and it just produces blurry rubbish. I had an earlier version on a G3 and it was brilliant. Would be interested to see anybody who can produce one that looks good on an HTC one to be honest.

I tried the camera/gallery version from the 4.3 update for Google Play edition and Photosphere definitely seems a fair bit better on the HTC One, although it's still not brilliant. It's seems most likely that it is to do with the Ultrapixel camera.
There is an example of the latest version I used on my HTC One here, on Google+ : https://plus.google.com/u/0/117344384174087802750/posts/4VoHCETevbR
As you can see, it's not perfect, but it looks a lot better than any I have managed so far. Imagination/Circumstance or genuine update? Who knows.

Hi
I can't remember where I got it now, I'll have a dig about and see if I can find it.
Meanwhile, there is a 4.3 version out which may work if you are rooted - check this post out:

I'm planning on purchasing a Fitbit Force and would like to be able to sync it with my DNA. Wondering if anyone has successfully done this yet? If I'm reading it correctly, it may require Bluetooth Low Energy support from the DNA, and that would only be available with a rom based off Android 4.3 or greater. If anyone has successfully done this, please let me know how you did it and what rom you are running. Thanks!
Got my Fitbit Force for Christmas. As soon as I can figure out the why Windows 8.1 won't recognize my DNA in bootloader mode, I plan on installing the latest CWM Touch recovery and installing CM 11 to see if the modified Fitbit app will work.
Win8 doesn't have the right drivers to see HTC devices. Dual boot another OS, or use a linux boot disc for phone stuff.

Have you used any Sense based Roms that are 4.3 or 4.4? I'm trying out CM11 right now, and it's ok, but I've been running into a few minor issues and think I still prefer Sense.
So far as I know there aren't any sense roms running 4.3 or 4.4, though Joelz is working on a 4.4 version...
I had the same issues with Aosp, so I'm back to Viper rom running 4.2.2. I can't sync the force with the bluetooth, but at least everything else is good.

Windows update from 8.0 to 8.1 has broken the fastboot drivers so it wont recognize your device in bootloader. I just had to undo and go back to windows 8.0.
To do this....
On your computer go to >settings >change pc settings, then I think its the middle option >restart your computer and save files. Be sure to back up anything it tells you that you will lose, and now you're back to windows 8.0 the way the computer came.
Now your fastboot drivers will work again.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad that we're getting into the 4.3 roms for sense. I'll have to give that one a shot! I have a feeling we're about to see a LOT more low engergy bluetooth products coming out that will need the 4.3+
