I'm trying to port over MiuiUS onto my phone. Everything boots up, but then I get a "System UI has Stop" and "MiHome has stopped". Since I'm new at this i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. Is my issue with the port or do i need to modify something in the UI...Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had messaging working, phone, camera, everything i could access from the lock screen would work...

have you already seen the logcat? It will show you the errors, so you can deal with them

Ok guys im no noob but I did get spoiled with the one click lag fix. And one click root. I had my phone all flashed out and running super smooth and super fast, and then it was stolen last week. I just got my new one and was sad to see that the rooting option was removed.from the app. I tried a method I foumd in the forums but I couldnt get it to root. Kept getting an error when I hit "reinstall packages". So any help or useful tips would be much much appreciated! I gotta get rooted again, im having flashing withdrawls!

Did you try re-downloading the one click root file?? May have a corrupted file and usually you can redownload and it should work fine.

yes.i have downloaded it 3 times, I am just missing something stupid, I know it. But im going to try it again. It can't be this hard
If you go to unlockr.com (oneclick rooting android) they have a nice rooting video on how to do it. Oneclick has a later version 1.5.5 depending on what you are running you may need later version. The video is step by step

You'll want to enable usb debugging when using the one click root app.
Before connecting the phone to the pc enable it in the menu. From home hit menu button> settings> applications> development and check usb debugging.

Ok so ive someone else post about this before just canteen remember if it was on another forums or not.
Ok so earlier today i was messaging someone and i was trying to get out the message screen but my phone was taking too long or i was just impatient but anyway i kept hitting the home button then i hit the back button and all of a sudden i heard a shutter sound. Sooooo i went into my gallery and there it was a seperate folder just for "screenshots" and mind you i do have the shoot me app and the folder for that is "shoot me". Has anyone else ever experienced this? I thought it was so cool that there is/was a built in screenshot but just wish i knew how to do it again i was so excited!!

this happened to me a few days ago, as well. thought it was a hidden TW bionix-v function. I tried a number of different key presses to no avail. somebody has to know what the deal is, right?

I posted this same question in the axura beauty thread. I thought it was a special addition to the axura rom. I found out that its not a rom special but its actually an android feature, only problem I haven't got an actual answer on how to access this feature nor do I know what to look for. I have googled this several times and all I get are results telling me about drocap or shootme and how to use the ddms in order to screenshot without root.

I know for a fact how to do this. I don't think you can force a screenshot with any soft touch keys but you'll notice the screenshot goes off when you're exiting an app/browser and the system freezes up briefly and when you try to hit home on the frozen screen it takes the screenshot. It's happened to me on a few occasions and I distinctly told myself to remember what was happening when the screenshot goes off and turns out it always goes off when my screen is frozen and I hit my home key, while thinking my back button wasn't registered and in fact, was registered and I just got impatient and hit my home button.
I've got a feeling it's a bug log kind of thing. Every post I've seen about it mentions that the phone locked up, and the user pressed buttons rapidly. Sure, we can take Screenshots! You have to have a crashing app to do it though.

Hmmmm it seems like StevenJCarney might be correct. Like he said it seems like it happens when peoples phones lock up & it could be a bug.
Hope it isnt a bug & someone is able to figure it out.
Same exact thing here. It really sucks an app has to crash to use it.

Not sure why some DEVs dont use ge.tt for roms. Its free, and you can share the DL link as soon as it starts and others can start the DL right then... Nothing in the terms about bandwidth either, max file size is 2GB, links stay active for 30 days. Might be worth it as a Mirror or something....

Flashing now. Did a full wipe, formatted cache, dalvik, system.
Nice touch on the message after the flash is complete. I thought my phone was freaking out for a minute there.
EDIT: After your special thanks and name list, i would recommend placing a *Please wait while install completes* at the end of the list. It almost appears that the phone hangs there. I could see someone possibly thinking its stuck and pulling the battery and trying to start over, then coming here and saying its corrupt or something.
And were up, that was a stupid fast boot!

This is a known issue with TWRP, just reboot and try again.

Anyone else having this problem? I'm running supra rom and I use Gosms instead of the default app. Not sure if this is relevant but I figured I'd give extra details. I also use adw launcher instead of sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I did a factory reset and formatted my sd to get rid of these ringtones that it kept changing to. Working so far..thanks for no replies :-|

Wow. Hadn't read anything anywhere else about the fact that this new version is pretty much a tablet app as well. Not exactly what I'd hoped for (wish it had the call back feature enabled like the ipod/pad version does) but ill take background data for now. Hmmm. Big news.

Mine isn't doing this. Maybe try uninstalling/reinstalling and see if that fixes the issue?
