Hello to all, i have a problem with my archos g9 101 turbo, the problem is with touchscreen sometime doesn't respond at all, i need to restart to be back to normal, when i install the firmware works ok with in a week, after that starts same problem, anyone have an solution

You can find other reports of this problem and various workarounds in the forum if you search a bit. Generally, it comes down to three things: periodic recalibration from Settings -> Repair & Formatting, recalibration from Recovery or returning the unit.
Also, some of Surdu's custom roms have upgraded/different touchscreen drivers, so this too might help.
Thank's man, i put different roms from surdu but same thinks happens all the time only for 3-4 day works great but other than that same thing no response , at the moment im on blue.v4, I also try with recalibration no success after couple of hour work same thing touchscreen freeze .

The reboots occurs on every rom that i flashed official 318, official 2.2.2 and streakdroid 1.9.0
The reboot occurs 100% every time when using n64 emulator after 5min's of play. or any other "heavy" game
My only suggestion (except hardware problems) is the crap sd card that comes with the streak (sandisk class 2)
I thing with "sandisk class 4 mobile ultra" the issue will be resolved, what do you folks think about it?
looks like hasn't installed correctly. have you tried re-installing update to see if that remedies your problem?

Come on people am I the only one with this issue.... some replies will be nice...

If no one else has dealt with this, you won't get any help. Go with your sd upgrade idea. Looks like your only choice for now.
To me it sounds like maybe a heat problem.

Go to FreakTab dot com. The guys over there have Fully rooted the Stock firmware and converted the stock cramfs file system to ext4. There is separate ROMs for the Polaroid 7200 or 700. Includes the latest Google Market and Talk. This makes the Tablet super fast and stable. Finally The PMID703c is rootable
I have Found The Solution so you can root and put custom roms and everything else you desire to do on the PMID703c!!
If you plash the firmware that I will upload in my next comment you get the playstore automatically installed already rooted and everything and it only has a few issues, the tablets hard home button is now the volume up button the hard volume up button is now the volume down button and the screen has to stay in landscape mode because the tilt sensor thinks that up is down but I am confident that if someone helps that develops firmware or knows how to fix this helps we can do the rooting flawlessly
I have discovered that the firmware will not fit as an attachment so i must get you a link for it i will publish it to an open google drive
BEWARE DO NOT try to change SYSTEM FONTS!!! The Tablet WILL get stuck in the all mighty infamous Boot Loop, And using clockwork mod to try and fix it will NOT work when you get stuck in boot loop with this tablet you must re flash with firmware
my wifi shuts off in 10 minutes if i do not get you links by tonight i can get them to you in the morning

Most, if not all, Polaroid tablets are rooted right out of the box! That's pretty cool I must say. All I did was install SuperUser and ROManager and it asked for Root Permission. That's what I did to make sure it was really rooted, or you could just download a Root Checker app to see if its really rooted. Now the only thing I want is a Recovery of some sort and a ROM for it. Its the Polaroid PMID704, no luck searching on those sites mentioned in previous post though. Also was able to over clock it to 1200 from the stock 1008. Occasionally it gets frozen, maybe cause of the Over clocking, I heard 1100-150 is a good area, in case someone else wants to know with the same tablet.

it looks as if Polaroid no longer supports this tablet, I'm sorry bud, i cant help or find anywhere anything that is useful to your situation your best bet atm would be to send polaroid a message and get them to send you instructions on how to reset your tablet or atleast give you a copy of the firmware/rom for your tablet or maybe even get them to fix it for you

Hi guys. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I'm having some issues.
I have the latest Vodafone firmware ICS 4.0.4
So.. When I'm, for instance, texting, sometimes I find the touchscreen is unresponsive to my touch (skips letters I've pressed and that kind of thing), and the same happens in games.
Do you reckon this is a software problem, because I've heard that the ICS is a bit bad when it comes to touch responsiveness or is this some hardware failure?

Hi, is the phone second hand? Do you have a lot of background processes running? You could try a full wipe and clean install of the rom. Official stock roms can be found on Sam firmware

Hi.
The phone is new (not second hand) and it doesn't have lots of processes running. Only those that are needed. I have the stock ROM (4.0.4).
If that's the case I'd get it repaired under warranty. I've flashed numerous roms custom and stock and never noticed any lag in the responsiveness of the screen and touch.

Since yesterday I am facing this problem.
Last evening the touchscreen of my phone just stopped responding. It happened so: all of the sudden the touch wouldn't respond. Pressing the power button to switch of the screen for sleep mode was not happening. The last thing I had done was pull down the notification bar so that so it was stuck there. I pressed and held the power button to restart and it worked fine. After a few hours again it happened. Restarted again. Worked. But now everytime its happening. It stops responding. I restart then it works for 2-3 minutes and stops responding and again Ihave to restart and again it stops after a couple of minutes.
I tried going into recovery mode and download mode and it enter and it charges properly also.
Also, last night I switched the phone off and I left it on charge annotd today morning when I switched it on the problem is still there.
please help me out
My galaxy s3 is rooted and its running on stock rom 4.1.2 and siryah kernel.
Is it a hardware problem or software? What can be done?

Its not 4.2 It's 4.1.2 Using the official one. And I have been using the siyah kernel for over a month now. Never seemed to cause a problem and never updated anything.
And no I didnt take out the battery. I just kept it switched off. Anyway I will do that too now.

Okay....so you did nothing? Perhaps you're stressing the cpu/gpu too much and kernel does not totally support 4.2.x yet....try flashing perseus kernel also, it cant hurt...

Should I flash stock firmwire then try rooting it again and then flash the kernel?
The thing is I used to use my phone while on charge. A friend says the circuits must have gone haywire but this doesn't seems like a hardware problem.

If u use your phone while on charge that only harms the battery (it will make it last less...but it is inevitable anyways who dooesnt use phone whike on charge)...
What would be the very best option would be to factory reset through recovery (u have clockworkmod right?) (U can save apps with titanium backup) and flash a new rom and THEN a new kernel.
If you flash foxhound it comes with kernel already backed.
BUT before doing this (nobody likes to start off fresh) just try flashing another kernel first(or try and get an updated version of siyah kernel, maybe you got the s2 variant, which has a higher build version than the s3, making it look obsolete).

Same problem here, flashed stock rom stock kernel, and i tried custom roms and kernels but notting happens... touch screen still won't respond, i don't have warranty so i can forget about samsung service.. Any Help ????

I've rooted my tablet a month ago just for the sixaxis controller feature and ever since I did that I've been getting poor performance on my device. My tablet will boot up very slow at times and some of the apps that came with the device with crash. I want these issues to be resolved, so does anyone know how to fix this or does anyone know any good roms that I should download to help. Thanks you in advance.:crying
