guys is there a mod already to be able to transfer files beyond 4gb to our galaxy wifis? does the kernel support ntfs?
The Linux kernel can only read NTFS, it cannot write however; which makes it pretty much useless

There are some ROMs with EXT4 support that might help you but otherwise no.

I know there are a bunch of threads about CWM, but I need a straight answer. I have the T- Mobile SGS3 and I want to be able to read and back up to my external SD card. These other threads are so confusing and they mix in other carriers instructions. Could someone please give me some instructions on what version of CWM to use and how to go about getting this to work. I am currently on the AOKP ROM. My computer won't recognize my phone when using AOKP, this is a known issue... I would greatly appreciate any help... Thank you!

Have you formatted the card to FAT32 yet? It seems to be an issue wih the S3 reading NTFS or exFAT.

Currently, not even from xda devs.
But in future, yes for sure....
This feature would be so awesome on S3! This is the only feature that makes me thinking about buying note 2 =P
I wonder 1gb ram is enough to perform muti screen smoothly?

For dual booting we need a special kernel like siyah kernel for s2 and s3. We all can send a request to the dev of siyah kernel.

Can somebody get his attention, this would be one reason to rooting my phone, as I want to have the option of changing to different ROM's consistently, from CM10 to Touchwiz based ROM's, as I don't like leaving the S-pen rendered useless for too long.
Can anyone point me to available modified kernel forr dual boot for note 2

Hello developers community, I'm interesting in buying a new phone (Lenovo S820) which came to my region with very adorable price, however , its 4GB memory isn't enough at all , so my question is , can I move games to SD card?
I'm looking out for your response, also for whom ever had the phone , how it preform and how it supported by the manufacturer by both software updates and warranty .
All thinks to who bother him self reading my request and all respect to who reply for that.

By the way , do exist any alternatives in the same price tag ?

If you can root it, you'll be able to move any app to your SD.
I believe no root available for this device

There might be a root method in the future but without root you wouldn't be able to move apps to a sdcard.

Is there an EVO 3D CDMA rom that allows an exfat sdcard? There used to be a kernel that added support, but the I can't find the kernel anymore. With 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 roms, I figured one of them has to have the ability to read exfat. Please help. Thanks

None that I know of. Would be easier to format to fat then it works with every ROM/kernel combo.

I would, just didn't want to move the files off to format it. Someone had a kernel that could read exfat on another forum as it wasn't allowed here, but the site is gone. Oh well, I'll figure something out. Thanks
