Is there an EVO 3D CDMA rom that allows an exfat sdcard? There used to be a kernel that added support, but the I can't find the kernel anymore. With 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 roms, I figured one of them has to have the ability to read exfat. Please help. Thanks

None that I know of. Would be easier to format to fat then it works with every ROM/kernel combo.

I would, just didn't want to move the files off to format it. Someone had a kernel that could read exfat on another forum as it wasn't allowed here, but the site is gone. Oh well, I'll figure something out. Thanks

I know there are a bunch of threads about CWM, but I need a straight answer. I have the T- Mobile SGS3 and I want to be able to read and back up to my external SD card. These other threads are so confusing and they mix in other carriers instructions. Could someone please give me some instructions on what version of CWM to use and how to go about getting this to work. I am currently on the AOKP ROM. My computer won't recognize my phone when using AOKP, this is a known issue... I would greatly appreciate any help... Thank you!

Have you formatted the card to FAT32 yet? It seems to be an issue wih the S3 reading NTFS or exFAT.

guys is there a mod already to be able to transfer files beyond 4gb to our galaxy wifis? does the kernel support ntfs?
The Linux kernel can only read NTFS, it cannot write however; which makes it pretty much useless

There are some ROMs with EXT4 support that might help you but otherwise no.
Anyone else having issues with their 64 GB micro SD card getting damaged everytime they flash a new ROM. Could it be because its ex fat and not fat 32?

Listen to deez. If you use AOKP or AOSP, you need to format your sd card to fat32.

To format a card or external drive to Fat32, using Windows, just follow the link and click on the picture to download!! So easy a caveman could do it!

Does anyone have advice on how to Deodex a stock rooted incredible 4g LTE ROM? There are a number of methods out there on the internet but none specific for the phone. Any links, threads or suggestions would be awesome. I have some minor experience with ADB and toolkits. Thanks ahead of time to those that respond.

He's asking for a how-to guide on how to de-odex a ROM.
Answer: There won't be any specific ones for our phone. It's generally the same process regardless of phone. Depending on which guide you use, the guide may point to the sdcard folder, and the actual SD card on ours is sdcard2, unless you use the SD card swap mod. It won't make a difference as long as you have room on your internal storage if you use the sdcard folder.
The apps are the only other difference, in that no two unique phones have exactly the same apps you need to de-odex.
Simple and easy guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1600805
Now decode...how do you create the update.zip for flashing the deodexed system app and system framework to phone? Thanks.

If permission was granted is there anyone who has the knowledge to port the International Sungsonic rom over to Verizon? The RoM looks amazing. Just a request, don't mean to ask something that's not allowed (potentially). Thanks

Is it a N7100 or N7150 ROM? If its N7150 you should be able to flash Scott's patch and maybe a VZW radio and have it working.

If a dev has enough time and feels like this would be a good port yes, problem is most of the devs have their hands full already.
If you want to try to port it yourself try these links out:

Did you even look at the guides? One is a huge list of all the guides and if you needed help you could ask in one of the porting threads. TrevE explains porting at length in his thread.
As for the PC tools you are talking about a kitchen, the most popular is dsixdas, I doubt I spelled his name right, kitchen.
