I downloaded the standard version and performed a complete test without any problem and no reboot and finally had score of 5763

I disagree. The phone should not reboot while benchmarking. This could be a symptom of a more serious defect, Ignoring it could prove to be more detrimental to the health of the device.
@OP. First I would test the phone some more. try a different benchmark and some other resource intensive tasks. If you get no more reboots, I would uninstall quadrant and try reinstalling. If the reboot issue persisits, send it back for repair. Rebooting usually has something to do with excess heat. or worst case scenario, a faulty mobo.
I benchmarked mine and my best was 6751, I have done it a couple of times, never rebooted, If it is rebooting try uninstall, then re-install the apk. You could also reset the phone and start over and see if it happens
LOL I just tested it and had the following result.

Not trying to brag or anything, but when I see reviews for this phone I see people saying it gives random reboots, locks up, crashes, overheating, and that It's just so problematic..however I never witnessed any of that, my phone never froze once on me and never had any problems like that. I've had this phone for about a month and a couple weeks and no issues
Yeah. Not every phone is built the same. I've had mine since day one. Still runs like a champ.
Don't know what all the fuss is about it's an excellent phone in fact I couldn't be happier

Hmm Unless you don't follow proper procedures with flashing roms and kernels there shouldn't by any instability.
Also make sure u follow the devs suggestions for specific kernels and mods

Been using this since it launched in the UK. No problems whatsoever. My phones running default, had nothing done to it and It's smooth as butter.
The happy users won't complain or sing praises on forums much as we are satisfied with our product, while those that aren't happy will make themselves heard everywhere.
The only issue I have had is w/the touch screen freezing during calls --- although since I went on a flashoholic binge over the past week jumping between Sense based ROMs, CM7, CM9, and MIUI it seems to have fixed itself. I haven't had any issues all week.
All in all, I love it! Couldn't be happier!
I only really have four problems with this phone.
1 - The battery cover doesn't go on tightly in the top left corner.
2 - There is some dust under the screen.
3 - the phone gets quite hot under use occasionally.
4 - Having a PG86100.zip on the SD card makes it so that you can't boot to recovery through bootloader. Sure, it's easy to just remove it, but sometimes I forget to delete it and experiment too much. When I need to get into recovery in those cases, I can't because of the zip file. On my OG Evo if I didn't want to install the file, I could just say no and then tell the phone not to reboot. With this phone, if I say no, I HAVE to reboot.

Great phone, like it alot, also got an Sensation XE but I prefer my Evo 3D, don't know why, it's magic for me.
It gets very warm next to the camera(s) when I play graphics intensive games and the default music player is cruel, but I got PowerAmp and all in all I'm verry satisfied. Seriously, now the 3D-features aren't used for many times...but it's great to amaze people!
Here in Germany it's just 269€, means ca. 350$, cheap for the given value.
Yep, I never have any stability issues either, stock or rooted. This thing is a very stable beast!
I bought this phone on the release day for my dad's birthday. He had so many problems he had to get a replacement. I swear one day he was doing something on it and out of nowhere he had a reboot. He said it would happen all the time. I took possession of this phone about six weeks ago and have had not one problem at all. Maybe it didn't like him. But overall, this phone is awesome. Wouldn't give it up for anything in the world.

I've had the random reboot problem (about once per day and I've only seen it happen once), and was wondering if there was anyway to go in and see the crash report that gets sent to htc? When it asks me to send it I know I can preview the log, but is there anyway for me to go back and view it?
Also do you guys think I just send this evo back under warranty? It's completely stock haven't ran an ruu yet but I'm about to.
This seems to be a common problem with the htc amaze. Is this also an issue with your phones?

I think if you use root explorer you can view HTC log I just don't remember where exactly its located. You can also pull a last_kmsg with adb or an app.

Hey guys I'm about to root my Desire X thus voiding my warranty I just wanna know if there are any problems with the phone's hardware? =)

Nope, not at all.

After 4 Weeks the Problems started...
...first of all, iam coming from the HTC Desire handset. A solid, powerfull, less memory brave smartphone at least for 2 years.
Switched to Desire X because of the lack of memory on my Desire, although root and sd-ext.
I was very impressed of this low budget device, it did a precious impression onto me, but now i know why HTC is losing marketshare and the earnings decreases.
The device itself, even without the backside attached creaks on the upper left and right corner - ok i would life with that, but there are constant reboots and state an error report, while my device is on standby and stored in my pocket - maybe there is too much pressure applied while i tie up my shoes, but my old desire took it without any problems.
The main problem is the screen, i got an array of faulty pixels - so iam heading to my retailer to get this device repaired and then sold.
Nexus 4 iam coming, although i loved the handy size....
Attached pictures of the upper left corner taken with a One S through a magnifying glass...
no problem
I also have a Desire S, now my wife is using it.
Until now I don't have any problem, it's smoother and I think it eats less battery than Desire S (both stock ROM).
Waiting for full Sense that i miss from Desire S :crying:
Unfortunately I recognized one problem.
After every shutdown and restart of the phone I miss some apps on the screen or in my favourite folder.
Like most of my other apps I transferred them with Titanium Backup from my old phone (Desire).
I cannot see, why these few apps (Financial Times App, Paradise Island, Blast Monkeys, Bad Piggies) behave like this and the others not. Maybe it is associated with root, maybe not...
Yep, have the same problem, it's because those apps are installed on the SD-card, and the phone doesn't link them to the screen when booting.

That means theres no way to change that behaviour (without another rom)?

Why should another launcher solve the problem?
The apps will stay on the SD-card, why should the behaviour change?
The only problem is the small number of developers writing ROMs. :silly:

Because they use other methods for the shortcuts. Just try it and give us feedback. I don't have the problem on my desire x so it's up to you.

Hi, I got the HTC one X+ from At&t today and every time I try to use it it gets really hot, even when not using its still warm. This hapened to the HTC one X international when I had it like 6 months ago so I returned it. And now I wanted to give another try to HTC and still the same problem. I had lot of phones from Nexus one to last one Galaxy note 2 none of them had this overheating issues. The phone gets hot and the battery drains very fast.
Anyone have same kinds of issue?

Do you have some objective numbers for hot and warm in Fahrenheit or Celsius? Everything else is pretty subjective and what is hot for you is maybe warm for me
It gets "warm" pretty fast but what do you expect from a quad-core in a small shell "overclocked" to 1.7Ghz. I think it is similar to the GSII.

Haven't they redesigned the wifi antenna for the Hox+? I remember that I read something like that? Hopefully it is not affected by too much heat.

48C is within tolerance. 60+ is danger zone and I would suggest shutting off the device and letting it cool if it gets there.
This device doesn't have the wifi issues, I've confirmed it multiple times.
Don`t worry, the phone automatically turns itself off when it overheats and will only turn back on once it has cooled sufficiently, no risk whatsoever, the tegra soc was purposely engineered to hit its maximum thermal limit.
Get hot, yes. Overheat no.
Lol soon we might be buying heatsinks for our phones.

But the problem is, it looses a lot of battery if it is getting so hot. Is there a possibility that this can be fixed with a software update?

Yes, this is true. If something is using a lot of power and putting out a lot of heat, the battery will get used. What do you want us to tell you?
The best option is custom kernels and underclock/undervolt. Tegra 3 is a pile of crap but it's the only way to ensure that the One X+ didn't become a vastly different device compared to the One X.
It seems like whenever I'm playing game, even just a simple running game the battery seems get to excessively hot. When I have the phone charging and playing a game it can get upwards of 119f. Is there something that I'm missing?

I understand that but by that notion the phone is unusable while charging for any intense application. I previously had a vivid and was able to play intense games while on the charger until the battery was full and temp never topped 100f. Now I play some simple running game for 15 minutes while charging and my battery is at 119f.
