Archos 101 can mount a USB CDROM ?
I connect my USB CDROM to my Archos 101, And I can find it at /proc/scsi/scsi.
But I don't know how to mount it.
Can anybody find it ?

No, it does not support optical drives.
Hi there,
When i plugin an USB Mass Storage, android recognizes the stick perfect.
But when i open ES file explorer there is no way to access it...
So how can i access my USB Drive

Have you tried the native file explorer? I always find external storage there.

its actually called File Explorer i think!
in ES file explorer USB drive and other external storage should be in /mnt on the prime root dir.

Its not "File Explorer" don't have it on my prime, where should it be?
It's called "File Manager".

I bought a dual thumbdrive and loaded it with some movies. Can the P769 read it? If installed ES File Explorer (both versions on google play) and it only finds sdcard0 and external_sd.
Anyone out there?

It will not since the p769 does not support usb otg
Hello dear people.
I have a M8S II and I've hooked up an external usb hdd to it. Since we cannot root it yet, I have few questions.
Is there any chance to use samba on it without root? My goal would be to transfer all movies to hdd, but to be able to copy it as well when I download something new.
At this point, I cannot write to it? Any reason besides android limitations? Tried connecting with es file explorer to my pc and to copy it to the external hdd, but I cannot write to it.
