Hello people! I just started my contract with at&t with the original one x but since this I just came out I want this ha... I'm wondering should save up my money or sell my phone and buy the retail price of it... Any opinions?

If you just signed a contract, bring back your X and get the X+. If you're past your return time I personally don't think it's worth paying full retail for the X+. I have both and the X+ is nice, but not with paying $550.

I was concerned with it myself, but so far it's ok. Battery isn't quite what I expected, but I'll take that to get the additional storage. With this being rooted with an unlocked bootloader, I'm guessing selling it won't be a problem. Especially if I can get the SIM unlocked.

Search eBay to see what One Xs are selling for. You can select to view completed auctions, that should give you a good idea what your phone is worth.

You should at least go and talk with the store manager at your local AT&T store. I bought my One X on Sept. 24th and the manager let me return it last Friday (11/17) and pay the difference for the X+. He didn't even charge me a restocking fee. I just paid the $100 difference.

Mate, I'm also from the UK and am looking to sell my Desire Z to get an EVO 3D I'm also on giffgaff!
Basically the cheapest is a 12 month contract for 36 quid a month with no initial fee.. or from expansys for around £285!

bloody hell thats cheap!! £216!!! do they deliver to the uk? if not how would i get it
The idea with the 3rd deal is to cancel the net and then downgrade the contract 9 months in and, when u include the cashback, u get the phone for around £150.
You then don't use the SIM and stick in a giffgaff or different sim to use. The idea is not to use the contract apart from to get the phone cheap. I've decided to get that deal instead of paying a lot more to get it sim free.

I'm gunna wait, if I get an iPad ill get the evo3d, if I get an android tab ill probably get an iphone but yeah go for the 280 one from expansys, brilliant deal. (I'm only 15 you see, got my desire z only almost a year ago, have to persuade parents)

I've had guys ask me to help them setup their DNA and I had taken them under my wing to teach them more advanced things with previous devices.
They got some AMAZING deals on DNAs through eBay and craigslist. So there are deals to be had if you can wait on one of those perfect deals.
One of them bought a Verizon presidents cabinet employee edition for about half what s regular device usually goes for.

I bought my DNA on craigslist three days ago for 100 mint condition! Came with box everything. I just got a s3 for 50 for everything that I may trade for a white iPhone 5 today. My area craigslist has crazy deals like that.

I just a week ago purchased a Droid DNA from craigslist for $150!! Brand new in box never opened it was a insanely awesome deal.To be honest I hate it coming from a nexus 4 HTC sense feels way to lagged down for me. If anybody is interested I am planning on selling it listing it on swappa but if anybody is interested in here could work out something. Much rather have this phone go back into the android community rather than selling it to somebody in Asia who is just going to resell it for a higher proffit.

I just got mine off craigslist. About ten people were selling them all for $400 which is kinda steep but one guy was selling a mint one he upgraded to but decided to switch back for $325. I got a good deal. Just craiglist for your city and HTC droid DNA or else eBay.

Flash viper DNA during setup your given the option not to use sense. I tried both ways and I like sense more then stock android launcher.. for some reason when switching threw screens on stock droid launcher u get that box outline !

It seems as though this is no longer the case. Friend of mine just tried doing this and they kept giving him the one X as a replacement. Hope some of you were able to take advantage.

I received an HTC One as an insurance replacement for my old HTC Titan. The website offered only the silver, but I was able to get the black that I preferred when I called. So far I'm enjoying the phone and getting used to Android.
I had massive issues with the 4 Note 2s I was sent as replacements, so they gave me a 64gb One (silver). This was through AT&T, not assurion (the insurance company)..
How were you able to deal with att instead of asurion??

ASSURION IS ONLY FOR LOST, STOLEN, or DAMAGED (liquid, fire, physical) PHONES. FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, YOU GO THROUGH AT&T AND IT IS FREE FOR YOUR FIRST YEAR.

AT&T honors your warranty for the first year, and yes, it's free. Call the warranty department and they'll handle the exchange. Not sure what YOU'VE been doing, but I had to go through more than a few defective refurb phones in the past year, and they were ALL exchanged, free of charge, through AT&T's warranty department. No, I don't pay for insurance either.
Like I said, if it's a DEFECT, AT&T will exchange it. If it's damage, then you go through insurance.

well why would they release it before the One? if they want the phone out there, it seems like post-One is the way to go. You get people to buy your flagship first. If there are others who didnt want the flagship or just never even considered it because of price, then they'll be up for this phone. Many who would buy the mini would have never bought the One in the first place, but you have to lead with your flagship.

Yeah it should be free. HTC is probably doing to make some money from this because people will think its a smaller HTC One. Its not. It's **** that looks the same.
Free? Why would it be free? The phone makes total sense... Once the max comes out they'll have a perfect line of One devices. Small, Medium, and Large.
There has to be some differences in specs between the three.
And why wright the specs off as crappy? They almost match the moto x at half the price. And there's plenty of reviews that say the mini runs great.

I got to play with one and I must say that even tho it don't have the specs of my beautiful black HTC one the little guy was pretty damn fast.

Seems i spoke too soon ... now my grand kid is asking about getting one, thinks the one might be to big for her pockets

yeah seems I spoke too soon .. the specks looked like a HTC First which is being blown out for .99c
my wife wants the mini over the regular one because her hands are too small for the larger device.

Well I ended up getting the HTC First for my wife and a mini for the grandkid (she's paying for it).
It shouldn't take long to get Facebook disabled on the First. She been using an iPhone the past 2 years, so plain Android should be fine for her.

My cousin just got the One Mini and the first thing she said about it is it's the same size as an iPhone. It's her first Android phone and so far no complaints. It's just a watered down One but it is quite smooth and snappy for those specs plus its got the front speakers and most of the perks of the One. For a mid range phone, it sure can't be beaten!

To disable the facebook, all you do is click on facebook home and unchecke it from lockscreen and uncheck it for launcher . Then just set are launcher. As always .
I think the only mistake with the mini was no nfc.
