What consequences does this have?
Have you issues related to the changed mounting name?
And is it still sdcard0 if you boot into recovery, wipe cache and reboot normally?
Maybe it is only a temporaily issue.
And maybe it does not have any "dramatic" issues.

I can't apply update frm sdcard.. as it is available as sdcard0
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

Nothing wrong.
Jelly Bean mounts internal memory to /storage/sdcard0 and external to /storage/sdcard1.

Then how to apply update from sdcard
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

Install zip from sdcard > choose file from internal sdcard

No option available like that
It gives error like unable to mount sdcard

Which kernel you're using?
EDIT: Then format your internal memory.

Stock rom not rooted
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

Then you don't have CWM, but android stock recovery.
But you can format internal memory, as I mentioned in my previous post.

Can I root it? Can you give link to root it with Odin.. running jellybean official

Definitely not, it's taking you to OEM recovery. Good luck flashing from there.
Just flash a kernel with CWM Recovery if ROM Manager doesn't want to play nice. Do all you flashing by booting to recovery and flashing from there.
What could be wrong?
I click the boot into recovery from the rom manager.?

It hasn't actually installed CWM Recovery so it's booting you to the only recovery you have: stock.
You can also boot to recovery by vol up + home + power.
I could never get Rom manager working on mine so flashed a cf-root kernel with cwm included all working fine now
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I find ROM manager only plays nice on CM..
Next time you find yourself there do the three finger salute and it should continue to cwm and even proceed with the ROM manager task.
Cwm is present but for some reason it hasn't written over the stock recovery. Its one of the most annoying bugs since I don't have a PC to fix anything with when **** gets squirrelly. I will be replacing this phone with the nexus for that reason primarily.

Did you have them on the external, which /sdcard is on aosp roms, which i can see you're using.
Or internal, which is now /emmc?
Simple mix up if you were on tw right before aosp
SOLVED. Inturnal nor no was on ics have been sense came out. Nor sure whats up but when I go to flash something its all there just can't find it with root explore. Which makes it hard to delete old stuff

Thanks for helping.
AFTER READING YOUR POST ON HELPING ME WITH "emmc" being possible . Looked and there they were
Thanks again this why we are here to help each other and make better devices
Not sure if you got what i was saying or not.
Internal sdcard is /emmc
So from where you are in that pic..go back to the parent folder, then go back again, then back once more, that should be the root directory.
From there you should see /emmc
That's your internal sdcard, you will be able to find your zips from here.
(This is a themed root explorer)
Root directory, see /emmc?

[Q] Getting error trying to flash

OK, so I'm having an issue trying to flash a new ROM. I'm currently using the LiquidSmooth JB ROM and I want to switch to the Paranoid JB ROM.I downloaded the necassary zip file and I put it on my internal SD card. Went into CWM and wiped data factory reset, wiped cache, and wiped dalvic cache, then went to install from internal SD card, selected the zip. It says installation terminated and gives error 7. I've tried this numerous times with 2 different ROMS and I'm getting the same thing each time. I completely wiped my internal memory and put the files back on and tried again and I'm getting nothing. I'm thinking I need to redo Odin and reflash CWM but before I do that I want to make sure its not something I'm just spacing out on. I'm fairly new to all this but I was successful with my first ROM using the same method. Any suggestions?
Oh I'm using the latest CWM touch.
Error 7 means your recovery IS in fact out dated. You have to update to latest version. A simple search would have provided the answer
TWRP recovery is highly recommended
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
I had searched to see if I had the latest CWM but I didn't specifically search error 7. Either way its kind of what I was thinking anyways. Can I just overwrite CWM with TWRP by flashing it with Odin or do I need to somehow delete CWM first.
Sent from my SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
You flash the TWRP zip and as it flashes, it overwrites the CWR. It reboots to TWRP.
TWRP is a friggen awesome upgrade to recoveries. I have to get over to their thread and give them a donation. Its a beautiful piece of code.
Oh here's a pic of my error just in case

yes biz, I have already renamed it to data_ics.img and put it on the root of the internal storage
exactly the same as your post:crying:
It must work. 2 possibilities.
First the file is corrupt, redownloaded it and retry
Second you have not write exactly the name of the file: data_ICS.img not data_ics.img.
