Is the built in data usage accurate as I can only use 100MB a month with a O2 contract
Also if I use a custom ROM, the data usage will still be accurate to stock?
Does anyone know?
Yes as it monitors any traffic that is flowing but to be safe I would set the limit to 99MB

If I use custom ROM, the data usage will still be accurate like stock ROM? I'll set it as 95MB just to be on the safe side
Just thank me

Yep.... it only follows the usage background data or not. The fact that you use 100MB a month I would disable background data!

I have an unlimited plan and I've downloaded over 100GB this month, how can I remove the usage warning in notification bar (can't raise warning bar above 100GB)?
If it is mobile data you can go to settings, then data usage, then unchecked set data limit, that's what I did...
Good luck

Not limit, the warning (it's already unchecked).
I may be wrong but I don't think battery usage shown in the phone settings are very accurate.
So I am simply wondering if there is an app that shows accurately how much battery has been used and by which app?
Sent from my Goner Simpsung S3 - XDA dev app.
BetterBatteryStats
You can find a free version here, on xda
I was told once that battery still charges a little bit after it hits 100%
is there a widget or app where I can see battery's mAh increasing while charging?

For the life of me, I am not able to figure out the symbol to the left of the alarm clock at the top of my screen. Any illumination to its source would be greatly appreciated.

How did you get this to activate or show up? I am on CM10 and can't seem to get it to come up. Yes I have ticked NFC on and Android Beam. Also tried NFC Tag Info and reading a tag.
I downloaded the NFC task launcher app and then it started showing up.

I can't understand what about you talking. I want to know.. Sometime i turn off my WIfi connection but after few minute i have checked it then i see it always on..
Can you help me to give any suggestion ?
When my phone is charging it automatically turns on WiFi.

What does it even matter? If your on wifi, your signal is from another source you dont have to pay for. The only side effect is if you are out of range, your chewing up battery time.
SMH at the whole thread.

the Droid X2 bootstrap, hijacks the charging mode, so whenever bootstrap is active, just power off the DX2, and connect to wall charger.
CM10 for DX2 is a little more complicated, to get bootstrap install, but it still uses the charging mode.
Thanx for the info. How long would it take for the recovery to come up if bootstrap is enabled on cm10?

selecting reboot recovery from the app doesn't allows work, but powering off the DX2 and connecting to wall charger should take less than 10 secs
---------- Post added at 04:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:52 PM ----------
the Droid X2 bootstrap app (System Recovery) 3 options
Install recovery (like CWM)
Recovery Mode (turn on bootstrap)
Charging Mode (turn off bootstrap)
I tried turning it off and plugging in wall charger and it popped up the charging screen.

You will not get the charging screen at all, if bootstrap is correct

the Milestone X2 has different system versions, and android versions (2.3.6)
using the Droid sbf, would have soft bricked it.
Using the MX2 wifi fix on the Droid X2, will break wifi, and you will need to reinstall the rom.
How did you downgrade from 2.3.5 to 2.3.4?
Actually the wifi didn't work till I install the mx2 wifi fix.
