[Q] Fake emei after flash the 4.1.2 XXLSJ rom - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
After flashing the ROM XXLSJ, my phone has now a fake emei (004999010640000 / 01). Despite this, everything works fine: network, data, WIFI ...
I have a backup of my EFS folder, but even when I restored it, nothing changes and I still have the same emei (not original).
I tried the GSII_Repair.apk, EFS_Pro_1.12.6_Release, flash the origin ROM with Odin, but these didn't repair my phone.
An other idea?

[GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps

I have ever done this, but always this fake emei.
An other idea?

Too, when I use GalaxySimUnlock.apk, it says code product : not active and Version HW : REV_
Is it normal?

Not enough to restore efs. You need to make sure the files inside have the right permissions. The one responsible fo imei should have linux permissions 755

What are the good permissions if I use rootexplorer.apk?
And when I open this file (nvdata.bin) wih an hex software I can see this message (not active) at the 0080810 offset. Have I modify it?

Ypu can set it to 700 actually... Meaning rwx for the owner. Then reboot the phone.

Go here and flash a new modem, under the 'Phone' section of Odin.
Don't work
I install vilainrom 2.3 with CWM
And install modem KG3 with odin in 'phone'
I'm desperate
Help ?
My girlfriend is too desesperate
Sorry for my english i m french :/
Whats happening when you flash a modem with odin?
Have you tried to flash a modem with CWM?
Do you still have an IMEI number. Check in the phone settings->info->status
I had this problem to and this was because I "lost" my IMEI somehow. Anyway I could return to a generic IMEI. But still I do not have my original IMEI.
You lost your imei number, perhaps by playing with the unlock.
If you have a backup of your efs folder, then you can recover it. If you did not, then you will have to build a new nv_data.bin file. Good luck!

They helped me to get a developer IMEI. Once my USB jig arrives I will send the phone back to Samsung in order to get a original IMEI.

I had exactly the same problem. read the threads I posted above.
Is your sgs2 rooted?
Basically unless you backed up your EFS folder your phone is hosed and will need to go back to samsung, flash a stock rom, use a usb jig to reset the flash counter and send it in for warranty repair.

No service after fomatting the yl-parames and nvram partition! What should I do?

I've bought this Coolpad 7295 phone for less than three days from China.
It seems that I couldn't flash my phone back to the state where I could get the service for calling the first day.
After the second rom flashing with my flash tool. I kind of formated the Yl-parames and NVRAM section of the phone.
I don't know these two mean! Could someone explain how they work? Are they related to the hardware or the motherboard of the phone?
After the wrong formatting action, my phone could not make any calls. (But everything works, and network works also. And later I flashed many roms, all of them work, just no signal)
So the third picture shows that this device has a different partition compared to the most smartphones in the hardware called "YL-parames".
My friend who is good at making custom roms in Taiwan said I might accidentally screw up with the hardware partition.
I just want to know with this problem appearing, is there any other way that I could get my signal back?
I've tried several methods like rewriting IMEIs, reinstalling the official roms, but none of them work.
Or should I just send it back to the dealer to get it fixed? (I'm doing it right now...)
Just want to know in case the phone is back, how should I operate this flashing tool because I'm really a tech-savy
1) The first picture represents what i chose for the outcome of no signals later on.
2) The next one is its interface
3) The next one is the official flashing tool, but I still can not flash the CPB provided by the official since my hardware seems to be broken.

I would really like somebody to develop the custom rom in the English version for this device, this device is pretty good!
Or is there anybody using this phone as well? It's nice to have someone to exchange info with!!

"Safe Mode" is enabled if the EFS partition of your device is corrupted.
Sometimes if you succeeded in fixing the EFS partition, you stuck in factorymode.

[Q] I lost my product code. Can anyone help me?

My situation is as follows:
* Updated my GT-I9300(International) to 4.3 Ireland (Vodafone)
* I haven't lost my imei IMEI.
* I did some checking and discovered that I lost the product code.
* I've done the downgrade for various versions of 4.1.2 already installed various types of modems and nothing.
* I have signal but can not make calls or use data package (3g, 2g, etc.), the errors are: When I try to make a call says: "Not registered in network." In the status bar says "emergency calls only"
EDIT: *I don't have backup do IMEI, but I believe this does not cause problems, since he is intact.

I'm thinking if I can put a new product code or if I could find mine again and works like before. I don't know the procedure for that and can't find it nowhere.
Does anyone have a solution or any better idea? Please help me! I am in search for 2 days and nothing!
Sorry for my english.
Thank you!
Product code lost what exactly do you mean .
Your product code where exactly that you find it missing .
I'd guess he means his serial number, hence not registered on network.
Only way back, if your IMEI number really matches the one under the battery, is to restore your the efs backup you made before flashing.
There used to be a patch, but it won't work on the newer efs format you now have.

OMG, there is no solution?
I'm accepting any idea, my S III left the technical assistance this week
Take it back to technical assistance and tell them you broke it, there is no fix you can do.

[Q] No Wifi and Service and Windows wont detect

Hello there!
So I sold my S3 Mini and the buyer asked me to fix his phone. The first problem was that it was stuck in a bootloop and the EFS couldnt be mounted. I got that working and it now boots up normally. Now the problem is that I cant connect to my wifi and it says no service on my cellular. It detects my sim because when I booted it up it asked for the sim lock password.
Another problem is that my Windows wont detect the phone. But it's charging normally. It detected my previous S3 Mini before with no problem. I've even flashed CM11 on it then flash the stock firmware without any problems.
To clarify here are my problems :
1. Cant connect to wifi
2. No service
3. Windows wont detect the phone
The main reason I want it to detect to my phone is to use Odin to flash the stock firmware again. I've tried Mobile Odin but it kept saying to download and install the addons when I've already installed them. Mobile Odin v4.2 if you're wondering. I've also installed the drivers for everything and it wont detect. Thanks for your help.
Sounds like efs is corrupt, try another usb lead to connect to pc, shorter is better.

Any way to fix it? I got the wifi to work by flashing the stock firmware with Mobile Odin. My IMEI is also not correct.
Restore your efs backup.
