okay having flash problems with this phone now :S not sure what to do the phone powers on with
SVF:105:1:2
Failed to boot 0X1000
no OS detected going in to RSD mode
this is fine i can select the boot mode whith the loader but when i load the RSD lite flashing
program i load the 4547-fix-try2.sbf file i downloaded from a thred on teh forums.
i start the flash then it gets to part where is needs bypass mode it will not auto select the
bypass mode it needs, so i CAN select it for the divice then after the BP mode it needs to returen to RSD
Mode however the divice does not reset this time so that i cannot reset the phone RSD mode and
thus the phone flashing fails......
However some times it fails on the BP mode as i select to the wrong one at the end of the day the RSD flash tool is
suposed to do this for me and atm it is not doing so.
so currently i am left with a fancy door stop till i can get some help
is there any one that can offer me some advice on this as i carnt think or find a way arround this...
many thanx guys
Only thing I can think of is make sure you haven't plugged into a USB 3.0 jack, it will cause some flaky reactions to the connection

]I have tried the new bell sbf with great excitement.. unfortunately as with all sbfs I flash it does not complete in the last step around 98%.. I BELIEVE switching to passthrough mode.. on one or two occasions I received a quick usb\vid_05c6epid 9008rev_0000. Qhsusb error on my 64 bit win7 system..could I possibly be missing a driver for that last portion of sbf flash with rsd lite? System still boots but real unstable.. reboots often seeming to look for bp, lol..all other usb functions work well on my pc.. only way it boots is android no bp mode.

I need your advise.I tried to upgrade my XT910 from GB 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 through RSD.Everything went OK but my XT910 did not start after upgrade. It always stuck on Motorola Logo and try to boot but again going to black screen and then again Motorola logo apperas.
I tried to enter in AP Mode pressing Power+Vol Up+Vol down but it is not going in Recovery and just blinking and then Motorola Logo apperas.
My PC is also not detecinting XT910.It detects only as USB drive. One Driver calls MTP always trying to install on my PC and failed.
Can anyone assist me how to recover it.

restart your PC.
Make sure u have all the required drivers for your phone.
Make sure u have the latest RSD.
If possible, try to re-download the fastboot file again.
I hope you are not flashing a ROM through RSD.
All the best.

Thanks for your advise.I already tried this way but problem is that RSD is not reconsizing XT910.As I mention earlier I can not go in Recovery mode and my PC is also not reconizing XT910.It only reconize it as USB Device and trying to install one driver called MTP but always failed.

Then u can do two things. Get hold of another PC, friend, cousin, X GF anyone. And try everything again on that PC.
Also, try to get a new cable. USB cable could be faulty too.
Also , u have written ur phone didn't start after the upgrade. What was the message showing in RSD exactly. And what fast boot files did u use?
Could u post the link??

Whenever I connect XT910 to my PC now.It only shows USB of XT910 and ask me to install moto cast from USB.
I downloaded Fastboot file from below link

I had a problem like this on my xt910 ics. I eventually worked out that I had filled the storage (damn you Gameloft). A full wipe/restore fixed it. I used this utility from droidrzr(dot)com developed mattlgroff. droid-razr-utility-182. Sorry, I can't post links yet...

Hello, I tried to search a lot, but I can't find any solution for this problem.
My friend gave me this phone (XT910 M0C2E) and says, that he somehow deleted system and the phone is now unable to boot. I tried a lot, but can't find anything, that could help me. When I tried to power the device it just show red moto dual core logo and then black screen. He also says me, that previous owner installed MIUI rom.
I charged the phone, using lipol charger direct to the battery, so this is not the problem.
but the main problem is that the phone can't connect in the AP Fastboot method. It says:
Code:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode
0A.74
eMMC Info: Size 16G
bla bla...
Device is LOCKED. Status code:0
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable
But when I connect the cable nothing happend, computer did not recognize the phone (no sound, no driver installation, nothing i device window). It is deffinitely in the phone, because I tried more computers and USB cables and if I connect the phone in SBF Mode, phone is recognized and shown RSD Lite.
I also tried to flash this rom (i think it is signed and stock)
SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml
through recovery mode from external card, but it says E:signature verification failed.
I'm sorry if somewhere here is sollution, but I tried to search and also for my bad English (from Czech Republic).
I solved it. I must remove battery (remove screws and put it out) for about 1 day, then put it back and go to bootloader. Don't try to power up phone because the usb wont be recognized, again.

Did you installed Motorola Device Drivers before connecting it? This device is not plug n play dude. Do that and let me know. Btw you have to flash that rom with rsd lite, not from sdcard
Hope I've helped

So i was attempting to originally run a firmware through odin and had auto reboot checked when i shouldnt have.
I now have a tablet that boots up with a back light screen and functions as a normal tablet, but i now have a blank recovery
and i cannot use download mode anymore. ive tried drivers, different computer, the works. No recognition in download mode.
i do not have root and am running 4.0.4
please help :X
Hmmm.
Auto reboot shouldn't have damaged anything in particular. Its exactly as it says - whether you want the tablet to reboot after you've finished flashing a rom.
Just a few questions so that we can help you easier,
-What do you mean by a blank recovery?
-Does the tablet charge via AC? That'll determine whether it is a cable problem or whether it is something else.

Yes the tablet charges by cable. If I choose recovery option I get a back lit black screen, download mode completely unrecognizable. Currently only boots into standard android.

If u mean that u can go into download mode but can't get a PC to see the device.... I would uninstall the drivers and Odin..reboot PC and reinstall drivers and Odin. Then try. If that doesn't work try a different version of Odin and/or drivers.
I have a Q and A thread with the necessary Odin files and cwm recovery to root the p7510...there is also a link to a qbking77 video.
Good luck...
My problem is I've tried different PCs drivers and Odin files and my tablet still only says waiting for cable in download mode

well then we're down to the old battery drain trick....its been awhile since ive had to tell somebody how to do this....so give me until tomorrow night and ill see if i can find some good links to guides for you...
in the mean time you can google battery drain, bootloader, download mode and just about every other word combination you can think of for this method.....
..... which is to drain the battery to absolute zero...take it out...put it back in...plug the device in...and before the charging screen comes on you need to boot into the bootloader...
i know...sounds crazy, but ive seen it work time and time again...now those werent the exact steps...but i thougbt you would .eed atleast some sort of over view if you are going to go google hunting with me..lol
Same problem
I've the same problem. I'm trying to install Android in a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the download mode has "waiting for usb cable". Odin doesn't recognize it, adb doesn't either. The tablet doesn't have an OS. Tried several usb cables, computers. It doesn't have an sd card slot to install from there.
I'm really at lost here , please help
I am using WIndows 10 (Maybe that's the problem) and trying to flash stock firmware onto an XT912 via RSD Light. 64bit Moto driver (6.4) were installed. I put the phone into boot mode, and then connect the USB cable, but nothing happens - After awhile it reboots and the computer sees the phone, but I doesn't get seen by RSD. It seems like it is not connecting via the Motot drivers but just the stock ones. I went into Device manager and made sure all the drivers were updated but can't get it to connect. ANy thoughts o what I can do. I have tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times and they seem to be there, phone is just seeing them.

I believe I got the issue resolved. I ended up just using a different method completely(DROID RAZR Utility XT912 Jellybean) skipping the use of RSD Lite and the whole moto driver. From my research it looks like the moto drivers do not work with Win 8.1, so definitely not Win 10 at this time.
You can close the thread.
Thanks for the help.
