Hey guys. Here's a link to the full users manual for the N7100 off the Samsung UK site. It provides a lot of detail on the various features which can be kind of overwhelming.

A word of warning, that is the manual for the international version. There are one or two differences between the us and international such as the FM radio (its in the international but not the us version) people also seem to be saying there are no headphones in some of the us versions but there is in the international version

Hi,
I'm off to Portugal on the weekend (lucky me!) and I need to navigate about 150 klicks from the airport.
I don't really want to spend hundreds of pounds on mobile roaming data so wondered if there was a way to download the entire route in Google Maps or Navigation before I leave?
If not anyone know of a free, or at least very cheap, alternative that will allow me to do this?

1). Rule 1: Search before posting.
2). Nothing to do with the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Apologies I posted here as sgs2 user sorry if wrong.
I was more after recommendations from people in the know as I already knew from Google there is a frankly bewildering array of options.
I have no idea what is the best course and usually find XDA a great place to ask, thinking other sgs2 users may have dealt with something similar in the past.
Many apologies that this is not OK. Will remember for next time.

I'm not saying XDA isn't a place to ask (if you've already searched and couldn't find anything, which I find hard to believe). But there's loads of forums on XDA and your question is not specific to the Galaxy S II. For example, there is a general Android Q&A forum, amongst others.
Navfree on market you'll need to d/l the map.
Good free offline satnav...

Either I'm missing something or no one has done one of those concise all encompassing most important threads that includes all types of goodies in one place.
I am using an international note, i9300 on AT&T and wanted to see if any other, I guess countries' baseband/radio would work better for my area. Stock (I9300UBLF2) seems to obtain a slightly weaker or less signal than my AT&T Note did previously.
Anyone mind pointing/linking me?
Thanks,
-CC

Excellent search skills, I am lacking.. I appreciate your help.
EDIT: who would have thought, you have to ask the right question to get the right answer. I searched for baseband and radio, but didn't think of modem.. lol
I'm coming from the international, unlocked phones scene and I was wondering if it was possible to install an international Note2 ROM on the AT&T variant? I assume that the only hardware differences between the two models is the baseband chip... I'm considering buying the Note II on AT&T but not if it is incompatible with the international ROMs (I have a feeling that I won't be buying a Note II in america...)
I thought that I was reading a while ago that there is a script or some way to interconvert from one device to the other, was just curious, and please don't flame.
No No.. And...... No

I am obviously a time traveler, duh. Thanks for answering my question; I shall return to 1969 and patent all electronic device technology and become rich.

I would like to think that the AT&T Note 2 would come pre-loaded with the latest Jelly Bean....?
Doesn't it? what else would you want?

The international models from Samsung always receive their updates months ahead of the US models, and the development in the international forum is far more "advanced" than in the AT&T forum (No offence) just based on the vast number of international people working on the software.
Its actually because the source code from samsung and Google has been released there. US carriers resist releasing their rom code. Everything we have above ICS is because our developers have to port it over to our phone from some other phone. Experts everyone of them.

Good Morning everybody,
as the title I would like to find the way to test my new application.
It will be a Beta Crowd test. In other words I want test my final application (not a part of code) in terms of functionalities, usability and look. I prefer to test with real users with different devices in different countries.
Could you please help me to find a way to do it, which is the best company that do this kind of work?
Thank you very much
Cheers
Luca
