Flash official firmware from sammobile via Odin or Mobile Odin, then root and flash XperienS. That's how I overpassed error 7.

Flash cf-root kernel using Odin and use cwm to restore your backp or install a fresh rom. Next time make sure you can undo what you do to your phone before you proceed. Saves everyone alot of headache

Or you can flash a stock ROM using Odin (do not tick repartition and do not use the PIT file), and do a wipe.

Flash a CF root kernal to get to recovery and restore or after flashing CF root kernal, format system , Wipe cache and Dalvik Cache. Flash the ROM through ODIN
Download a stock rom,go to download mode and flash it through Odin.ICS is currently unstable and still many apps are not compatible with it.So wait for CM9 or official or one with less bugs and stability.Know the risk before flashing.

if you cannot install any rom i guess you can try to install an odin version . this should not give you any problem
Genrrally, there are 2 methods to flash ROM/kernel/modem: (1) using CWM recovery if you got hold of zip file; (2) use ODIN (PC needed) or Mobile ODIN app (PC-less flashing) if you have tar file. (Mobile ODIN can also flash zip file.)
Which method did you use to flash?

First upgrade the 'Philz' kernel to the latest v3.99 and then u can install any Custom Rom/Kernel of ur choice from its recovery

Sorry to be a pain but do I use XXLPQ-OXX ICS 4.0.3 or XXLSJ-OXX (Jellybean leak) i'm on i9100xxlq6
Or you can try flashing to a stock rom first and then retry flashing the custom rom

Tried flashing Philz kernel and it still failed to install the rom saying installation aborted.
i said ROM, not Kernel...
go back to a stock ICS or GB rom if you want via Odin, and then retry the JB

Do I need to do anything with my kernel?
You dont seem to know the basics pal.The stock rom he linked contains kernel/modem/rom so have a guess what happens when you flash them to your phone.
{go back to your iphone since you are an android noob}

TBH we all have to find out the info at some point and this is my time to find out.
True, but you have to know the basics before flashing or else youll be the one with the non working phone.
Eg.If you had read a little bit about nand backups, you could have your phone back to how it was in 5 mins, before you messed with other roms.
So once you have your rooted phone to your liking you make a backup. Then if you try another rom and dont like it, boot into cwm and restore your backup in 5 mins.

It could be that the zip download is corrupted. Try re-downloading and flash again.
If not, flash Siyah v4 kernel via recovery or odin then try flashing desired rom again.

What aborted? Flashing the newly downloaded rom or flashing Siyah via ODIN and then trying to flash rom again?
If you cant flash rom after you have Siyah kernel installed then as mentioned above you will need to try and restock via ODIN.
