I don't use any, don't really think a phone needs it to be honest.
Hmm. So far have never heard of a phone been attack by a virus. I'm also thinking if there is really a need for an antivirus hence am checking out the feedback on this. Thanks for all your reply. Cheers!!!

Yes common sense is indeed a good protection. But it could be too tough to use.

There's also apps from marketplace I use. It doesn't hide the apps but it locks it and requires u to enter unlock code or pattern. The one i use is a paid app but i think there might be free ones

Hello,
Does anyone know how I can get Tasker or any other alternative app which kills services, not just the application, at a specific time?
Thanks.

What exactly do you need to do this for? You can freeze services via Titanium Backup.

I need something like Tasker to kill certain services at 00.30 for example , facebook, whatsapp and juice defender (I've noticed that juice defender drains the battery, even in night mode).

Doesn't seem to fulfil the job I'm afraid.
I love this community and I would love to discover what apps you guys use the most. A downloaded app I use all the time is called Relax and Sleep. What about you?

Rom Toolbox
Root Browser
Superuser
Terminal Emulator

These are some "MUST HAVE" apps that my phone must have. Hope it helps
ES File Explorer or Root Explorer
Titanium Backup
Rom Manager
XDA-Developers
Terminal Emulator
4EXT Recovery Updater
Simple and useful apps. I use Titanium to get rid of useless system apps that many ROMs come with.
Whats a good camcorder app with good features..

The best one I've found is Seesmic Pro. I too, like Friend caster, but its not as good with all of the newer Facebook changes. Seesmic is especially good if you use Twitter, it lets you view them both & post simultaneously

There are very good android applications, like Titanium Backup for restoring applications easily after flash, X-plore and Root Explorer and MIUI File Manager as the best file managers, Dolphin Browser , Paper Camera, Super Video as a floating video play, C4droid as the best application for C++ programmers, TTPOD for listening music with lyrics, but also tablet applications being adapted to android phone like Photoshop Touch.

I wish I had an answer for you, as my wife has been trying to do the same thing. Used Jorte for a while, but it's just more feature rich than what she needed, so it became a pain to input the small details she needed.
Could you tell me what solution you found?
I like Titanium Backup for restoring applications easily after flashing ROMs, X-plore and Root Explorer as the best file managers, Boat Browser Mini as a heck of a fast lightweight easy to use browser, Mobo Viewer as a floating video play, and TTPOD for music.
Camera zoomFx is a great camera app...improved shots for sure, especially with the stability feature
As I sell ALOT of eBay stuff I tend to have to use my phone to check PayPal addresses. But trying to load more emails takes ages is there a way to have more available on phone? Cheers guys

I don't think you can with stock. I'd use a decent third party like maildroid. Then you can have your entire account showing.

Hmm ok thanks for that. I must admit I'm 1 of those people who likes using stock apps because I don't like most ui's of 3rd party apps. But I have had to change the music app I am using recently and playerpro is very good so far so I'll check it out. Thanks

There are a few good ones worth checking:
Touchdown
Enhanced email
Maildroid
K-9
... To name a few. Most have free trials. They're way better than stock!
