Can't Active sync?

Hi all, Hope someone can help, Recently flashed to ROM 1.72.831.1 Radio 2.07.51.22_2
Having problems as now cannot connect to PC using active sync, Have tried reinstalling Activesync but nothing, The Phone did get abit damp after riding in the rain on bike,I Flashed the previous night and to be honest i hadn't made any calls or really tested the phone, Also whenever i make a call the loudspeaker automatically comes on which is damn annoying, Not sure if it is the ROM or the Rain ? Please can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance.

Hi and thanks for your replies, Have tried the USB in all modes, The PC doesn't recognise the phone at all however the phone does charge, I have since flashed via mem card to an O2 rom 1.72 but now the screen rotates in msgs and email and during calls and will not auto rotate back lol, As well as still no active sync and the flaming speaker coming on when call connects, Am just about ready to give up and sell it on ebay, One more try to flash back to the standard O2 1.43 rom which was shipped.
I have just flashed back to stock O2 1.43 rom, The phone goes into navipanel and wont let me come out of car kit mode? Seems as if the phone thinks its meant to display landscape? Think its gonna be a case of sending it off to HTC now its all back to shipped state lol
Cheers for your help.
Me help that tooo!!

x10 won't switch on

Hi,
I've just joined after getting linked to this site. Seems like a huge site with plenty of info but unfortunately after a few searches I haven't been able to figure out my problem.
I recently followed a guide on here for replacing the digitizer on my xperia x10 and I followed it to the letter. After re-assembling the phone it refuses to switch on and there is no response when I connect the charger.
A little history.....
The problem started when I dropped the phone in water. I know I have been told that it would never be right again etc etc but I did everything I could to dry the phone and for a couple of months after the incident the phone would switch on and display perfectly and the buttons would work fine also. The only problem was that the touch wouldn't work rendering the phone useless as I couldn't even unlock the screen.
Anyway, every now and again I would switch the phone on again to cHeck if it had made a miraculous recovery but no joy. After asking some questions I decided to replace the screen/digitizer. I remember the last time I tried switching the phone on a few days before taking it apart it wouldn't switch on. It simply gave out a few flashes from the LED. I put this down to the battery being dead and carried on replacing the digitizer.
The only response I get from the phone now is when the charger is connected to my laptop and I remove the battery, the LED gives out a red flash every 2-3 seconds. Although this doesn't happen all the time. Most of the time I get nothing at all. I must add that I did charge the phone at least once or twice successfully after the water incedent so something else must be causing this.
I have heard of issue with these phones not charging but I don't see why this would happen to mine if it wasn't even being used. The phone was only a month or two old when damaged.
Sorry for the long winded introduction and if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate hearing them.
Thanks,
Gav.
anyone had any similar problems to this before?
I know this is an old thread, BUT my X10 won't switch on either now :/ not dropped it ever and ive never got it wet, i turned it off due to it being laggy and unresponsive and now it won't turn on :/ no ROM's not rooted just stock anyone have a fix ? and no i have tried putting it in the computer for the SEUS to fix it but nothing unresponsive

Screen doesn't turn on afer phone dropped

My wife claims that her phone's screen sometimes would not turn on and she would have to remove the battery in order to get it back on. Today, the phone was dropped from the couch onto the floor. After that the screen will not turn on. I can turn on the phone and I can hear it booting up, but the screen is not on and it's not active. The bottom buttons do respond but can't see anything going on.
Has anyone had this issue? I'm thinking if maybe there is a cable that got disconnected inside the phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I get the same thing once in a while, thought i had it narrowed down to live wallpapers, but got it again after flashing non voodoo over voodoo...oops
Sent from my Superclean Voodoo Fascinate
The phone is flashed to Cricket, so can't call Verizon. It just fell off my hands a couple minutes ago and now it's working again. Hmm.... I wonder if there is a loose cable inside the phone?
If you're not inclined to take it in for a replacement, open it up and have a look
Before you take it apart, make yourself one of those funny looking mad scientist helmets like doc brown had in back to the future... that would help

Just call Verizon they don't care or check different software people put on phoneS. I've sent back a Droid x and incredible with custom firmwares themed overclocked the whole 9 yards and both time I got for free a new phone and they never did anything. Verizon is to big of a company to check all the phones they receive everyday. They simply pull the phone out of the box and do a full wipe of everything. They check nothing. And if you decide not to send it back. Enjoy your almost broken phone .

Unable to do anything when making/receiving a call

Hello All,
First post here. Got my new Nokia Lumia 800 and wondering if anyone is having a problem when making/receiving phone calls. Basically I can ring someone but then display goes black. The phone call is still going through as I can hear it connecting to voicemail etc. Then the only way I can get anything out of the phone is to hold in the power button and restart the phone.
The same thing happens when I make a call.
Anyone else having a this problem or is just me?
On another note does anyone find Zune player a bit annoying for videos in the fact that if you have a lot of video files its a nightmare you cant sort them via folders.
Sounds like an issue with the proximity sensor.
The screen should go black and touch should deactivate when you bring the phone close to your head but it is supposed to reactivate when you bring the phone back down again.
Had the very same problem. My phone was replaced. The guy in the store told me that it's a very common problem with those phones.
Anyway, even on the new device the proximity sensor seems to be a bit too sensitive.
What network is the phone on? Mine is on Vodafone and was bought online. Wondering if it will get replaced instore or will have to be sent back?
Mine was Vodafone but purchased from Carphone Warehouse as I wanted unbranded and sim free. Replaced in store.

[Q] [Q} Broken LCD, controlling the phone remotely? [Help]

I have a new Sammy GS3 from Tmo US. My brother had the upgrade, but my original phone broke, so he let me have his contract upgrade, and I picked up the GS3. Long story short, I got a small crack in the screen when I dropped it, but the LCD is shot underneath. We ordered the insurance, but it is under my brother's LINE, not under the PHONE itsself. So I need him to be able to access data for a couple days, but we cant do anything to the phone whatsoever.
I guess my question is, ideally is there an emulator that I can use on the desktop over USB cable? or (more realistically I suppose) even just anyway possible to control it remotely, without using the lcd? make a download here, attempt a call there?
Thanks in advance!!!
