How do I move my apps to sdcard on Xperia Tablet S? - Sony Tablet S

Hi since I'm a Xperia play user I had to move alot of my apps to the sd card but that wasn't hard to do on my Xperia play you can simply do it from settings.
So now I have Xperia Tablet S I managed to full up my tablet with games and app and there is no way to move them to my sd card.
So does anyone know if I can move my apps to sd card?
Also is there a way I could use the Xperia play as a controller for my tablet?

Possibility of enabling write permissions
Hello guys, i searched a lot for a way to move my apps to externel sd card because of lower disk space on my Xperia Tablet S, so i rooted it using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273509, and mounting directories by Directory Bind app, i am wondering of possibility to use step 22 of this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273509, but there is only ICS symbol on the step and i didnt find any answer if it works on rooted 4.1.1, so i hope you can give me an answer if it would work on JB.
Thanks

Mounting SD

Some time ago someone put a link for a app that allowed the SG3 card to mount and show on my Macbook thus allowing installing roms/photos etc. Somehow Ive managed to loose it ......Just on the off chance someone has it installed and can forward the link.
Thanks

Use directory bind, then move the game data to your sd card. That's the best thing you can do.

Directory bind will help you.

Although not exactly what you're asking for, that's what I did and what I'd do if I were you : ExtSD2internalSD
Basically you're going to make your phone believe that your sd mem card is your internal and vice versa, worked like a charm for me running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 on my I9300 with a Class 10 samsung 64GB micro sd card.
Here's the link to the thread.
BTW, thanx to mattiadj for this awesome mod and hope this helped somehow.

How to break the 200MB memory reserve?

HI can I get an hint about removing or cracking the low memory notifications and inhibit installing new apps whenever I drop under ~200MB of free phone's memory? I believe this must be breakable.. But how? Please don't suggest moving apps to SDcard as Xperia P has very limited storage for SDcard. Any working solution would be highly appreciated!
Sent from LT22i using Tapatalk 2
Of course you can but before that your phone must be rooted and after that these is two ways to go :
1st : install app2sd its a app but before tht you gonna need CWM tocbe flashed in your phone for backups
2: install s2e(app) to move all app to sd and leave the 200Mb free ,but you gonna need CWM too and for CWM you need to root your phone so look for root then CWM then install s2e or app2sd i will give you a link to a v8deo later if you want
Hit thanks if i was usefull to you

Thanks but as I already wrote that's what I can't do coz I'm out of space on SDcard too ((, so a solution to break the low space alerts or lower significantly the low memory level would be much more negotiable.
Sent from LT22i using Tapatalk 2
From what i know you cant add space but you could trick the phone by creating a ext partition to work like space but that from the sd card so you should buy a new sd card someone else i dont know sorry
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
That's not possible I don't have SDcard slot ( please a workaround how to cheat the phone it must think there's more memory that actually is so it continues working properly even if I go under 200MB.

Sorry that impossible you cant do that

Moving Apps to SD card

Hi,
Just handed my XZU for nearly 2 weeks now. Really loving it, great companion for my Xperia Acro S.
We know that XZU only available in 16gb of internal memory and expandable via SD card. But i face a little issue with the internal capacity, now i am using 75% of the memory - i install pretty much big games, and it continues to keep on growing --"
With that pattern of usage, i guess moving big apps to sd card will help, but i cannot find the "move to external memory" option inside the app detail. Is it possibble to move the app to sd card? Do i need to root my device?
Your responds are highly appreciated. Thank you.

It is possible. I Had same problem and I could not find any SW which does not need root. Bud finaly I had to rood my ZU and now I use GL2SD app which works great also with non GL games
Ah, thanks for your reply. So, i need to root my XZU then, but it appears to be an uncomfortable option to me. Let's hope this will be enabled in the future update

App to SD only allows you to more the akp as far as I'm aware? Foldermount will let you move any folder, including game date to the external.

Just to clarify. So this GLtoSD will move data to external SD but new installation will always install to internal SD ?

i have try foldermount but its always reboot my ultra
my ultra have root with 360root
App2SD and GL2SD
My Xperia Z Ultra is NOT rooted
App2SD: Not supported
GL2SD: Requires root
This means, No Go....
Safe bet you will need root access for any on these apps to work. Rooting is easy, but it's your personal choice if you do it. Plus you always get the choice if which apps to grant access to so security should not really be a concern.

Mine reboots too... but to install remount-reboot we need to have a working CWM, which is not the case...
Or, install it through a PC, but it drives me mad not being able to do everything on my device instead of depending on a computer.
We'd need something like Mobile Odin Pro for Samsung... isn't it possible to do something like that? Just a question, I don't know if it would be science fiction... :silly:
