I apologize if I'm in the wrong topic but, I'm updating my phone Galaxy note i717 through kies air and my phone is on odin mode and the progess has been stuck at 63% for a while now and I was wondering if it may have bricked my phone.

Have a look here for your Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G Touch => http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1281
Good luck !
So, I was trying to root my:
Samsung Galaxy S2
i9100g
(Not sure what Rom/ICS/Firmware it had before I tried rooting)
I tried flashing with Siyah Kernel to Root like I had previously done with another i9100, but in turn the S2 now sits at the black boot screen displaying "Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100G" and will not go further.
I've read about 50 or so threads relating to the boot screen problem.
Yes, the device may reach Download mode, but not Recovery mode.
Any help would be extremely helpful.
Thank you.

Hey dude, in the first place u have flashed a wrong kernel on ur I9100G, since siyah doesnt support that model due to difference in hardware alltogether compared to I9100 international and its variants M/P/T.
Ur lucky since ur phone is able to go to Dwnld mode.
Just dwnld a stock firmware meant for I9100G ( u can dwnld the same from www.sammobile.com) and flash the same from Pc Odin to boot ur phone Normally and then try the link below to have a proper root of ur phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587482
Ps- in the future be carefull while flashing things on ur phone, read before proceeding else u will have an expensive piece of Paper weight with u

As long as you can get to download mode, you're alright.
check this out.
Also remember that you are on 9100G so this thread might help you out.

Firstly some advice.. You need to use proper topic titles that briefly describe your topic, not silly generic meaningless ones like "help me".
The yellow triangle is normal as it means you have flashed new kernel. It can be removed by using "Triangle Away" app. You would have known this if you had used a simple search for "yellow triangle" on this forum. In future use search.
You cant use kies unless you have stock kernel/rom as far as I know.
"bricking" a device has nothing to do with yellow triangle or lack of kies connection. A bricked device is when it wont power on or you cant flash via recovery/download modes. This is caused if you wipe data/factory reset using stock recovery on Samsung/Android 4.0.4 or if you corrupt bootloader via a bad flash in ODIN or if battery runs out during flash etc.
Hi all.
I have already posted my problem in this thread which I have read to the end ( [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked I9100G )
but was not able to get any solution so I'm starting a new thread hopefully someone might be able to help me and sorry if I was not suppose to start a new thread.
My problem is as follows and hope that someone can help.
I have downloaded odin mobile and installed it on my S2 I9100 G which previously had CM 10 installed on it and I wanted to flash the official firmware using Odin mobile. I did run it and then the phone prompted me for M5 or Md5 that was detected and should click yes to verify before flashing. I clicked yes then it started verifying and when it was done it rebooted and then was stuck on the (Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-19100G black screen) and did not want to move. I waited for an hour and a half and nothing happened. When I removed the battery (I could not reset or do anything else) and put it back, the phone turned on by itself and stayed still on the starting screen (Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-19100G black screen)
Now I'm not being able to put it in recovery nor download mode.
Can any one help and anyone knows if the jtag dongle can actually force it to go to download mode even at this stage
Thanks in advance for any suggestion
Ok thank you guys. I think I was able to fix it and revive my phone.
go to service centre they solve your problem

Make sure you got the right M.O kernel (I9100G).

Hello guys, first time posting on this forum so I'll keep it short.
Recently a friend of mine asked one of his other friend to root his Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge from T-mobile.
However his friend messed up and now the phone has been bricked. Whenever you plug in the power cord all it shows is an empty battery logo and kernel is not seandroid enforcing and below custom binary blocked by FRP Lock.
When attempting to enter recovery mode or download mode all it shows is the samsung logo and the errors as said above on the top left. I have never encountered anything like that when I rooted my old samsung s3.
So maybe you guys on the forum can give me some insight on what I should do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Check your CSC to match that one is on phone to bypass FRP lock... Download stock rom based your csc/pda from samfirmware.com . Flash with odin.
