[Q] What is the right ROM and kernel for me? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I have a Galaxy 10.1, GT-P7510, rooted, currently running Android 4.0.4, Kernel 3.1.10, Build number Task650's ICS.
I'm frustrated because it does not have an option to connect to PC using mass storage. It only has MTP and PTP. My computer is Ubuntu 12.04, which has really bad support for MTP and PTP.
I would like to upgrade to Jelly Bean, and I think I might like to use the Cyanogenmod 10. I've looked on the forum and from what I can see the CM10 and other Jelly Bean Roms have a USB mas storage option. Also, there is suggestion that it would be faster and better than what I have now.
However, recently when upgrading my phone (Galaxy s2), I discovered that if one doesn't have the exact right kernel and ROM, it can cause all sorts of problems.
So I want to do this slowly and get it right. What makes me nervous about the Cyanogenmod 10 ROMs available on Droid Basement, the word "experimental" is written everywhere. I don't want to experiment with anything, I'm looking for stability.
Also, there seem to be different options for P4WIFI, P4VZW, P4TMO, P4, and P3, but I don't know what those mean and how they apply to my tablet.
So, bottom line: what is the right ROM and kernel for me? And can I just go ahead and flash them without any additional configurations or installations?
Thanks for any advice.

This is a pretty easy question finally.. so just download the recovery.tar and bootloader 4_0_4 from droidbasement and flash it on odin via the PDA section, then download the EXPERIMENTAL build and flash it, once you flashed this built ( before flash wipe date/cashe/dalvik) go to your settings > sorth updates > new version, click on the upper right corner refresh, and then several builds will show up what look like: ' CM-10-20121216-nightly' , download the newest date by pressing on the download button right, wait till it's downloaded, let it update your tab, this wil take some time, and your tablet will be faster than ever before, that's one of the stablest builds i ever used! Started from the experimental builds...

Ohh.. and uhm...forgot to mention... the GT-P7510 is the p4wifi
---------- Post added at 12:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 AM ----------
Or i'll make it more simple for you. But you still have to flash the bootloader and recovery from droidbasement, but don't download the experimental ROM, instead of that, go to http://get.cm/?device=p4wifi and install the latest CM10, so you do not have to update to a very stable version anymore, everything works very smooth, you can oc to 1400 mhz, and i'm using cm10 rom's now since they came out with cm10, i never ran into big issues and everything is well explained in the development section

Thank you for responding.
I was a bit confused at first about how to get the bootloader on my Tab, but I worked it out.
Now I've got the latest Cyanogenmod, Android 4.1.2, and it's nice, but...
Unfortunately it seems there is still not a USB mass storage option. At least not that I can see.
Is there a way I can get a USB mass storage option on my Galaxy Tab 10.1?

How did you find cm 10 coming from ics?

Mmh i think no ROM has mass storage enabled for the galaxy tab, i know on several devices CM10 has mass storage build-in:
su (press enter)
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage (press enter)
reboot (press enter)
I don't think it'll work for the Gtab 10.1 but you can try it, if it doesn't work and connect to your pc go back to settings > mass storage > 3 dots upper right corner > connect to PC
Maybe you can ask pershoot to add this if this code doesn't work

Unfortunately, it seems I spoke too soon about Cyanogenmod 10 being nice. It seemed to be running fine yesterday, but today I am having nothing but problems.
None of the Google apps work (I installed the latest Gapps zip... I think). I keep getting an error saying that "Exchange server has stopped". And my Cyanogen ROM manager app won't work. It's kind of a mess.
Damn... this is exactly what I wanted to avoid - going round and round in circles trying to get a stable version of Jelly Bean on my tablet.
Where can I get a stable, working, reliable ROM, kernel, and Google Apps?

Thank you for the commands and suggestions, but as mentioned in my other post, this ROM doesn't seem to be working for me as smoothly as I first thought.
First I'll see if I can get a stable ROM, kernel, and Google Apps, and then I will try your commands.
If you have a suggestion on where I can get stable versions, please let me know.

You can oc your device to 1.4 mhz if it doesn't work smooth enough for you, another very smooth ROM I can suggest is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932474
Or still www.get.cm

Thanks, but I think you and I have different definitions of "smooth". I'm not particularly bothered about overclocking and speed. I just want apps that open and run, and no error messages.
However, on the upside, I think I may have fixed it. I think the problem was that I accidentally downloaded the wrong gapps.zip for my ROM.
Anyway, I'm currently restoring some apps via Titanium Backup. When that is complete, I'll try the previously suggested USB mass storage fix.

[ROM][WIP]CM10 with 1.2GHz OC and 5-Touch enabled + firmware update UPDATE 2012-11-12

Disclaimer: I will not be responsible if you brick your NT or your significant other leaves you for bricking theirs. As always, flash at your own risk.
Here is a full CM10 ROM with 1.2GHz OC that is 5 touch enabled. I usually build once very couple of days just to keep the CM10 base up to date. I'm not a kernel whiz so don't expect any large amount of progress not made by the kernel devs.
This ROM will now work with or without the updated firmware, thanks mik_os!. Please see this post on how to install the updated firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33699529&postcount=75
With that said, many huge thanks to everyone who has put so much effort into making this awesome. If I forgot you, let me know!

Here's general instructions on how to proceed
Code:
1. Download ROM from this post and get the files from post referenced above
2. Boot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset
4. Flash the Touch update ROM
5. follow instructions in referenced post
6. If you are CWM, you can proceed with flashing the ROM from this post
7. If you are using TWRP, I recommend switching to CWM until we figure out what is causing the 'unable to mount /bootdata' error
8. boot to recovery, wipe data/factory reset, Flash ROM from this post

This is a guide of how to update Nook Tablet touch controller eeprom firmware with one that supports Multitouch.
1. Flash this rom from custom recovery
http://celticstorage.co.uk/cm10/Touch Firmware Update ROM.zip There is No need for Gapps .
MD5: 8BFC2C50F68CBEB6E3CD341F366BA773
2.Go into settings and disable screen sleep. Also make sure all options for keeping tablet awake are turned on
Settings > Developer Options > Stay awake should be checked + adb root access
Make a reboot and let it settle for a second.
Take a deep breath and connect it to Computer USB port and make sure you have driver installed for adb access.
Unrar firmware attached
Copy it into ext sdcard.
Then load adb shell
su
cd sdcard
echo "ft5406-sc3052-1024X768.bin" > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0038/fwupdate
It worked first try but it may need more tries.
You can check if all ok by issueing dmesg.
When you type echo "ft5406-sc3052-1024X768.bin" > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0038/fwupdate and it takes some seconds to finish its probably working.
Go into recovery and wipe everything and flash a ROM that is Multitouch enabled of your choice.

Question on this, since you mentioned simple adb commands:
Can you run this from a terminal? I ask because I've had issues getting adb working properly for my nook.
Also, what is the advantage of 5 point touch? I assume there is one, but I'd like to know.

Yes you can and i didnt see you thanking anyone That is why Thanks button exist

@Demetris: Where is the updatefw.sh? I checked on the sdcard and don't see it. I ended up copying it over from the original post with it. Is yours different?
Also, how long will it actually take for the firmware to flash once the command actually goes? I kept getting update fail, but now it is sitting at the point after the long list of numbers. It's been a few minutes.

Not sure if anyone else will have this problem. But after installing the Touch Upgrade ROM my device wouldn't boot. It was stuck at the CM9 loading animation.
I checked the logcat and it turned out to be an issue with SettingsProvider sqlite database being readonly, and unable to upgrade. If you run into this, just adb into the shell and browse to /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases. From there mv your settings.db.
You do this when the device is stuck at the boot animation.
If successful it should immediately start the OS.

That won't help me with those apks, though. I'm pretty sure that the FC is tied to some part of the kernel that is there in CM9, but not in CM10. They FC on my Skyrocket as well (I've used CM10, AOKP, a TouchWiz JB ROM, PA and CM9.1 Stable and the only one they play on is CM9/9.1).
I followed your directions, except there is no updatefw.sh, so I just put it there manually.
I have tried 50+ times and it never succeeds. It did change the VendorID, but the TPFWVER never changes, and it continually fails to update.
Any way to diagnose this?

according to tonyp23 this upgrade to the 5 touch firmware requires an older kernel which in this case is the one from cm9. afterwards you can flash any cm10 rom which has the newer kernel. so what you are experiencing should be normal. i haven't tried it myself but yea...

No its supposed to. It's a CM9 ROM. When you are done with that flash the CM10 ROM in OP
Do we need to install the ROM as per the instructions, or with the new addition in the 2nd post, can we just update the firmware?

Born again noob needing advice....

Hello everyone. It's been a year since I last came to this site. This is where I got all my info on rooting. I'm somewhat embarrassed to say I'm still running my Gnote on 2.3.6 GB, baseband I717UCLA1, Saurom.
Recently my Gnote has become incredibly slow. More force closed now than ever before. Battery life is next to nothing. A full charge will last me 4hrs...yes 4 hours with fulltime use (txting, calling, browsing, watching videos and playing games). It will last me about 10hrs if I don't do a damn thing on it except maybe check an email, a txt or the time.
I've come back to get info on upgrading to ICS or Jellybean. My question is, have I basically done the hard part already (rooting) and just need to download a correct ROM and flash away, is that correct? Or do I need to take additional steps?
My other question is, in your opinion what's the most popular ROM for the Gnote 1 out right now. I'm way out of of the loop and I'm catching up on my reading.
Thanks and it's good to be back to this site. Hopefully I'll stick around more often this time around.
wow a year?
surprised nobody else chimed in, but I think I can get you in the right direction. with a few questions for ya, I think you will be on your way. I am reasonably new to the Note, but not to rooting or flashing. yes, I have rooted Note and flashed rom's.
1.did you root a year ago or just now? not sure if it will work rooted, but Samsung should be able to get you upgraded STOCK ICS very easily. the only reason I say that is I have not seen that modem before.
2. are you wanting to stay stock or flash custom? the Samsung upgrade is going to only take you to ICS. if you want JB, you need custom rom. pretty sure you know some of this. either way I believe, even if you want JB, you need ICS first. again, I think modem is going to be issue.
3. (not a question) in any of these issues, I, myself always believe that returning to stock is the safe bet. then start from there. there are people here with more experience that may tell you you don't need to. I need that confidence and fresh start to know nothing is tainting my process, then I have to start over anyway, but that's just me.
I will, as others will, always direct someone to the "Super Everything Thread". ALL questions can be answered there. no matter which you wish to do, its all there. from how to's to every flavor of rom.
I am sure no matter what you want to do it could involve using "Odin". which you may have done already. just check that everything is up to date.
same thing goes for a custom rom if you wish. its not that older roms aren't solid, but you may not have the support you may want or need.
and every phone is different I am sure you know. so what is great on one, is not on all. also some of newer roms (and not all are available here) work better with alternative kernals.
alternative kernals now CAN allow things such as overclocking or undervolting. these can be a fine line providing better or worse speeds and battery life. often sacrificing one for the other. don't play with it myself or need to right now.
*******again, "Super Everything Thread" and READ, READ, READ ******
hope I helped at least a little bit

Personally I would suggest updating to the stock ICS and the re-root from scratch and flash one of the more stable ICS Roms such as Padawan v8, it's really stable, fast and has some note 2 features, really nice rom, stable fast and smooth. If you're wanting a JellyBean rom, I suggest one of 2 roms out there. The UnOfficial RootBox which is what I am running now, really smooth fast, no FC's so far all going good on it for the past couple of days or the Sons OF Android rom build 4. All are really great. Padawan is the most stable and still keeps you Spen sensitivity and features. Flashing one of the JB Roms, you will lose Spen apps. Hope that helped

Ok, even though I'm already rooted. I can just update to ICS using Kies or do I use Odin? Or does it matter? Also, if I'm updating to stock ICS with whatever method I won't be able to backup any of my apps and contacts correct? Since I'll be starting from scratch again?
You may want to update your recovery to avoid errors with newer builds before you flash another rom. I suggest latest twrp. As for contacts. Well the problem I've now been having is I cannot connect to kies to upgrade to stock ICS. I've tried 2 computers. The problem in my PC is I'm unable to install Samsun USB drivers. I've uninstalled/reinstalled. I even plugged in the USB adapters on MOBO to different ports. I still get "?" for USB under device manager. WIth my laptop I'm able to install the usb drivers but kies never detects my phone. I get the error "this device is not supported by kies 2.0" I have USB debugging turned on. I though it might be the cable so I went and got a couple of $2 cables and still nothing.
It seems I'm stuck on GB or is there an other way to upgrade to ICS with kies??

You have to unroot to get stock update and use kies
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
No need to flash a stock ROM. Just full wipe and install the ROM of your choosing. More than likely you will want to update the baseband/modem/radio or whatever you want to call it. Easy to find and install. You can update recovery if you want or need as darkchyldx101 suggested.

As JamieD81 mentioned that would be your best bet is to unroot and re-root, install the new baseband: here's a link to it

Ok, after a little more reading I'm glad so say I'm now rooted on ICS with Padawan V5 rom. My Gnote is once again snappy fast and smooth.
This is what I did.
1. Unrooted
2. upgraded to ICS with kies
3. rooted (made backup of stock ICS, used twrp)
4. flashed padawan V5
Thank you all for your suggestions and recommendations. :good:

[Q] Stable 4.2 ROM Suggestion

Hello Gang,
A friend of mine just got a I500 from his carrier, brand new, as an upgrade from his non-smartphone phone. But, it is running 2.x. He asked me to update the firmware and he doesnt mind an aftermarket one, but I personally want your input to see which one out there is a more....bare bones firmware with no major setting that could confuse or frustrate him (ie...theming, overclocking, etc).
Ive seen Helly Bean and even the standard CM10.1, Gee Whiz? I dunno. Kinda hoped for a TouchWhiz ROM for him.
Thanks,
Paul.....
Well I'd say (in no particular order )
geewiz,,, super nexus,,, carbon,,, or cm10.1.
But you are not going to go wrong with any of them
if you wanna get him a TouchWiz ROM, look at RemICS JB. it's based off of Touchwiz 5 and looks quite a bit like a GS3/Note 2.
i've had the most success with cm10.1. GeeWiz uses Samsung's RFS file system, so you may see improved performance in that, or more things working.

Well not entirely true, remics looks like tw... But on jellybean 4.2.2 platform.
Runs same partition and file system setup, etc, etc
Avatar Rom has the themes to suite nearly anyone's taste, pretty solid rom too.
They all have their perks!
man, i'm loving helly bean. came back to it tonight after cm7 was having some issues (wifi was being really flaky) and it's fantastic. the things Devil Kernel can too is overwhelming yet amazing
this is the first time i've ever seen this phone run jelly bean 4.2.2, which has its problems, absolutely perfectly. even on my old class 2 SD card. @hhp_211 i proved you wrong man lol

Lol, sweet. Just proved that you had bad flashes before! Lol
Glad you got it!
+1 for helly, it's been my daily rom for awhile now. Tried all the latest but have always returned to hellybean. Hoping for a 4.3 from the devil!
I've been using Helly Bean as my daily driver for a long time and I love it. Once in a while I'll flash the CM10.1 nightly to see how it's doing, but I always seem to have some weird issue or another that makes me go right back to the stability of HB. My only issue with HB is that after using it for a week or so it starts to bog down quicker and quicker. I have to reboot at least once a day now to keep it snappy, whereas when you do a fresh install you can go days without a slowdown. It's not really a huge deal though, and it's still the #1 rom imo.
uh-oh...
Hey Guys,
I flashed Helly Bean via Guide I found here.....and It had no data connection now. I checked through the setting and it's on AUTO mobile networks etc.
Now if I revert back to the Original VZW ROM as indicated in the Guide I do get the connectivity back. Suggestions??

i have also had data on helly bean whenever i flashed it. try reverting back to stock (it should reflash the EH03 radio as well, my personal recommendation for fassy radios), putting Helly Bean on the phone's SD card (along with Ultra Slim Gapps, not regular Gapps) and then follow these steps:
1. open Odin and put the phone in download mode
2. flash ClockWorkMod 4 fixed for CM7
3. close odin, eject phone, open odin, insert phone
4. flash GBBootloaders
5. close odin and eject phone
6. reboot the phone into recovery, wipe data/factory reset and go to advanced>wipe dalvik cache
7. flash the ROM (it'll boot into its recovery on its own, let it be)
8. flash the Ultra Slim Gapps
9. reboot
Sorry, "Stable Roms" conversation is too close to "Best Roms " conversation. As all roms are, or could be, stable for some, but not others.

Q&A for [ROM][4.4.4][YP-G70] Carbon ROM For Galaxy Player 5 [METICULUS]

Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Encryption possible on Carbon ROM 4.4.4 for the YP-G70?
I have installed and love the Carbon ROM 4.4.4 (10012014 version) on my YP-G70. Problem: When I try to encrypt the Android logo appears (green droid) as a splash screen with no text at all, and encryption does not start. In fact nothing is happening and it is possible to return to normal use. The forum will not yet let me post links but the symptoms are identical to a thread on forum.cyanogenmod.org where the problem is diagnosed as the filesystem cannot extend into the last 16 Kbytes of the partition where the crypto footer is kept. However, when I followed this line I soon concluded that following the advised solution (subtract few Kbytes (more than 16) off the /data partition and redo the partition) does not work for me because LVM is implemented in this ROM and my data partition is therefore /dev/lvpool/data (and does not appear with the ~ # cat /proc/partitions command anyway).
I've googled and not found a way round this. Can anybody help me? If it is not possible to encrypt in this ROM, I've also read (another link I can't post) on github where Meticulus discusses reverting to a pre LVM ROM. Any suggestions on what sort of compatible recent ROM I could try that would contain a kernel not use LVM? This seems to be a pretty obscure subject and I much appreciate any help.
Thanks

I can't say much about device encryption; never tried it and don't want to. However I can say a couple things about LVM that might help you.
LVM was not implemented until KitKat, so any custom ROM before KitKat will not have LVM
The LVM binary is located at /lvm/sbin/lvm and if I remember correctly there are commands you can issue to resize an lvm partition (Google the lvm man page if you want to try it) and (if indeed that is the actual problem)
Good luck

I just wanted to say thanks for this. I went back to your Slim Bean ROM and tried to change the partitions per the research I had done but after much work only succeeded in soft bricking the device. Anyway, I wanted to let you know I ended up in exactly the same situation as the guy in this thread you responded to forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2609692 with an inability to re-flash your slim bean or carbon (status 7 errors in CWM and failure to mount/format sdcard, data and emmc) in spite of having the exact fdisk partition table as his. I followed the steps you suggested in that thread including going back to stock and eventually, like the poster, ended up with Android System Recovery <3e> and a bunch of failed to mount cache errors. I kept trying to reflash Entrophy512's Daily Driver in Odin but to make matters worse the device wasn't charging - just getting hot - so it was cycling and I think preventing a good flash of anything. Eventually I did get that flashed and the device began charging properly, then booted to Samsung stock. However, it still wouldn't recognize the internal storage sdcard and wouldn't mount or format it. Attempts to flash your slim bean still failed with status 7 errors.
So, like that poster, I then tried flashing CM (I used CM9 figuring the older the better). Lo and behold, that flashed and when it booted there was a pause while it said "preparing sdcard", then when it finished I had my 5GB internal storage back. Then I was able to flash your Slim Bean and Carbon as usual - completely repaired.
To get to the point, I just thought you might be interested to know that there do seem to be times when a flash of CM may repair some partition related matters, I have absolutely no idea why, but thought it might help you to know... As for encryption, I may consign that one to the long term list for now (CM didn't seem to allow that either)!
Most importantly, thanks again for all the great work, websites, forum help and quick responses!
Kevin

About BCMON
Do Bcmon supported this device because it has a broadcom chipset. I already installed bcmon.apk , open it and enabled monitor mode, freezes for like 10 seconds and it doesnt work. It stays in enable monitor mode also the Wi.Fi doesnt turn on now when I open "monitor mode", need to restart to fix the problem. Anyway the bug has to do with the rom compatibility ? or the device of broadcom ? Can you fix this please ?
The latest build had great battery life.

Whick kernel to use ??
Can u please tell me that which kernel do we have to use with your carbon rom build CARBON-KK-UNOFFICIAL-20141022-1740-venturi.zip . i currently have rj's custom kernel v 14 and when i tried to flash it my player got stuck in infinite bootloop . The only thing i can acces now is cwm recovery and Download mode. Can you please reply and also tell how can i exit the bootloop. Thank you very much. Also, i have SGP 5.0 with physical home button so i guess its the internation version only.
I always use the kernel provided with the ROM, it's tested and tried by the developer.

I might be a little late to the party, but did you wipe the cache partition, perform a factory reset, wipe Dalvik cache, and then install the latest stable Carbon build? The kernel that the newest stable Carbon build, Nutella Kernel, is unified with the build, so flashing it is like a 2 - in - 1 flash. Remember to get the latest Mini Modular Package version of PA GApps for 4.4.x!

Could your EGL_BAD_ALLOC error be due to a mismatch between the driver version and the gralloc library version. Building against the correct version may solve the problem

I don't think so, both gralloc and the graphics blob are not built, they are prebuilt.

If you go back through the previous few posts you will see that I did various experiments trying to get the player encrypted and at various stages had to get back to stock from some really nasty positions. I had to be really really persistent with Odin then - I had the device apparently power cycling so it was not awake long enough to work I guess. I just had to try over and over. Also you may like to try installing the Dr Wondershare (recovery file tool) on your just because this will install different drivers for the device which worked better for me: the tool is a free download/install, you only pay if you need the recovery aspects so it's worth a try. Obviously if odin doesn't work put in download mode (hold voldown and then power on)... Good luck. I got through it and reflashed Carbon (I'm now using the player as a remote control for Foobar2000 and Windows Media Center on my HTPC).

ok the main issue I have is I tried to do a factory reset and erased cache and all that and rebooted into a soft BRICK lol .. took me 2 days of googlin to find one-click unbrick and to learn how to use ubuntu and it worked the first try . It rebooted like normal . Now the issues after all this .. The data cable will not recognize the player to download anything . AND the cable will not charge the player unless I reboot it with cable installed. ALSO if I power down all the way and hook the data cable up the player reboots instead of staying powered off and charging.
Ill look into Dr wondershare . see if that helps any .. Thanks Ed

Been running this for a couple days and it's doing well. I did not flash gapps. The biggest issue I have seems to be that apps will crash once the first time they try to access storage. I just reopen the app to do the same task and it works. Sometimes the MTP service crashes when I do something storage related, too. WiFi seems fine, but I haven't had a chance to use Bluetooth or make a call yet.
Thanks for this. Apparently the last ROM I was running on this particular device was a CM build of yours from early last year .
Adding this a couple days later: Wow, battery life has drastically improved over the old CM ROM.

Just installed this to my Verizon Note 2 SCH-i605.

hi
how to apply it because i'm newer to install custom rooms
I'm having a real good time with this rom. Really brings this ol' girl back to life. I'm also having a real bad time with this rom.
Three issues I'm having so far:
1. Can't send a text. I can get texts in, but when I try to send one out will just say "sending" be then display a notification that it failed.
2. Phone screen turns off on calls and will not come on at all. Power button, home button, prox sensor, nothing gets the screen to come back on. This means I can't hang up and can't press 1 for English.
And 3. Caller ID isn't working at all.
I'm also getting a seemingly random popup saying MTP host failed, or something like that. Not sure if that is related
Any advice on what the problem could be would be splendid.
1. Which carrier to do you use?
2. What APN settings did you use?
This will be easy fix~I have no problems with my rom at the moment.

1. The big red V
2. No idea. Just however it came by default. Been on another rom for a few weeks now. If I remember correctly I did go into the *#*#4636*#*# menu and reset VZW's smsc number, but was dismayed like a mofo that it was of no use.
Would love to get this rom running solid, but the screen going black on a call is a major killjoy.
Update:
Loaded this rom again, still no go on the texts. Tried to restore APNs from a backup and got a pop-up saying this version of Android doesn't allow modifying of apn info.
Most of the entries for all four apn options say "not set"
I can't get it to save my APN. It's the country code. It will not let you have 311 it only let's you use APNs that have a 310 country code. I can't even edit it directly and use the 311 country code.
Any idea how I can get around this.? I've seen this in other ROMs before some ROMs just won't work on virtual carriers. And some don't have an problems with the 311 code.

you should not install any rooting after flashing.
