[Q] After battery powerdown, on reboot, after bootlogo BLACK SCREEN - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi my fiends, i've a big problem.. my s3 power off after battery down.. i've insert the second battery (full charge..).. power on.. but, after boot logo, nothing happened.. black screen and smartphone off..
I've tried to enter in recovery.. and work.. the screen show the full battery.. tried to wipe dalvik and cache.. (not clear totally.. i don't wanna lose everything for now..).. but nothing.. always black screen after bootlogo.
How can solve this??
I could reflash everything.. but only if it's necessary.. and.. how can find the system file where are stored sms??
I can use aroma file manager with the touch mod recovery (phil)..
Hope in a answer that help me to solve this situation..
thanks a lot mate

I seem to be having a similar problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did a simple rom reflash.. without full wipe.. and system power on.. now do backup and reflash

[Q] Is my phone bricked!? Oh crap.

So heres the problem. I've been waiting ages for a good phone that can play videos on the go, but after finding out that my HTC hero (GSM) only supports 2.1 android and cant run iPlayer, i thought i might as well try to install it myself. And thats when it all went wrong. I got UniversalAndroot 2.2 and now my phone just freezes on an "android" logo which was never even there before. What can i do? The only thing i can do is hold down the power and volume down buttons and get into a white screen with two options. Help please....
isnt it home and power button to go to recovry?
Have you wiped your phone data in your recovery image if not wipe your phone data/factory reset in your recovery image and also wipe your cache
It's fine guys, I managed to get into recovery, thanks for your help!

[Q] Android triange exclamation

Today my folio 100 hanged, and after rebot I was unable to start it.
It was showing only black screen (whitch blinked twice).
I thought maybe something went wrong,
so I tried to get to recovery menu, and try to flash it again.
But now I'm getting android triangle with exclamation.
Does it mean it's bricked (deadlock I've read about)?
And is there anyway to fix it?

Look at that thread. Perhaps it will help you.

Thanks, in this case reason was very simple.
SD Card had save protection turned on.
And repeating black screen on start up was because
some files were left in cache by other roms Ive used before.
Factory reset + cache cleaning + dalvik cache cleaning with
ClockworkMod before apply of foliomod on fresh stock rom
solved this.

Phone hanged up at unlock screen

Hi people!
I was using my phone but suddenly the backlight changed to highest brightness level and my phone hanged up.
I tryed to reeboot with/no sim, sdcard but nothing...
It freezes at unlock screen. I can see the clock on the upper bar working regularly but the touch screen doesn't work, like all the buttons.
Any idea to resolve this problem?
I was thinking to wipe cache? What do you think about? [note: just wiped cache and dalvik cache too. Still hanged up]
Tnx in Advance
P.S.
I use LoL rom, obviously with a recovery menu.
Reflash the rom....
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
eh.... I'm already doing it....
tnx

Pasting this from another thread. I really need help.
Hi, I'm an android noob, and I'm having trouble installing this ROM. I go to recovery mode (TWRP 3.0.2-0) and I select factory reset and/or wipe dalvik and cache individually. I then go to my SD card and install the ROM and Gapps 6.0. I then reboot (tried wiping dalvik and cache too again before this step) and then, the motorola warning boot message shows up. I understand that it should show up for some 10 mins, but an hour is ridiculous. So I suspect that I'm missing something. Please help.
What is the rom and your device???
I got the same problem.
OK guys, so today I encountered the same problem. Actually I was trying to install the stock ROM, but I downloaded the wrong ROM and then when I had cleared all data(Internal Storage, dalvik cache, etc.) I accidentally rebooted my device and since then I'm stuck at the bootloader warning screen. Even when I try to power off so that I can go to recovery, it just restarts and I'm again stuck at that screen. Please help!
