Hi przemcio510, where can i find it, I just found 6.0.1.1. Thank you for replying

Status 7 generally means you are attempting to install a ROM that does not match the model number for your device.
Where did you download the ROM, and what is your exact model number? (the model number will be printed on a label underneath the battery)

While going from xxslj to cm10.1 I faced the same problem. I restored my previous backup which was rootbox and then I installed CM10.1 and it worked without any problem.
Of course this will work only if you have backup..
Else you download siyah kernel for s2 from gokhanmoral.com flash it via Odin and then try to install whatever you want to

what i suppose is that there is a conflict between the rom and the kernel, what i would suggest you do is install a different kernel, like siyah or N.E.A.K
try this first tho
1) go into mount and storage then format system
2) get the latest siyah on ur SD card and flash it from recovery
3) try reinstalling hydra
coming to my house proves it. but yesterday I did that but left with a semibrinck ... I am not sure why that was. thank you very much for the answer

after changing rom cwm doesnt work on recovery mode

i have installed the ResurrectionV1.0 remix ics exclusive 4.0.3 rom and now i want to change it,
i have the cwm app but when i run the phone on recovery mode cwm does not go up.
i'll appreciate your help
I believe that was when there was no custom recovery included. Why version 1 anyway? Try find the CWM.zip file on the RR thread. If you can't, flash a stock ROM, then root your phone with CF-Root and you will have your CWMR back to flash to your hearts content.
EDIT: Before you do what I said, can you flash files using the CWM app? Also, are you using the correct button combination for recovery? Its home button + power button + volume up button.

i'm looking at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399
and i don't understand should i burn a new karnel and if soo which one ?
and could it be that the CWM does not work because the karnel virsion and the ROM virsion does not fit ?
because when i go into the CWM app it says "This version of CWM Manager should be used with CF-ROOT v5.0 or newer. it appears you are running a diffrent kernel. various features have been disabled"
sorry for veing soo slow i'm just new at this stuff...

[Q] Just flashed Siyah Kernel on Omega Rom.. Gives black screen

Hey all,
I'll try keep this short and sweet. I just flashed Siyah Kernel 1.5.4 on my GS3 (currently running Omega v26) and it flashed fine, rebooted the phone and logo showed up all good. However, past that stage the screen goes black and I'm not sure if it's actually booted into the phone.
I can press the menu/back buttons and they respond, but nothing shows up on screen. I can also enter recovery/download mode, so I've tried reflashing the original CF-root kernel and still no luck.
Currently going to try a nandroid restore but does anyone have ideas what the case might be and how to fix it?
Cheers,
poopehz

Error status code 7 when flashing ROMs usually means the install script failed an assert when trying to determine if you have the correct model of phone that the ROM is intended for.
Where did you download the copy of CM10.1 from? Are you sure that it is for your model of phone? According to your signature, you have an I9100. Are you sure you didn't download CM10.1 for I9100G, for example?

This is because your likley using Philz kernel for leaked JB.
To flash other custom roms you will need to change kernel back to a previous ICS or JB kernel like Siyah.
Flash the kernel (.tar version) via ODIN/Mobile ODIN.

I just flashed this leaked firmware few days back.. That's it!!

Download the DorimanX version that suits your rom, reboot to recovery then flash the zip. Each time you flash a new copy of your rom you will need to flash the kernel again.

You've been around long enough to know the answer to this. Read the Dorimanx thread(s), follow the instructions. It's not rocket surgery.

Are you serious?
I had tried ReVolt ROM just yesterday and then i went on flashing another ROM through CWM Recovery just fine!
Do you have the file on internal (or external) sd card?
Can you first of all access CWM?!
Did you make a full wipe? (data/cache/dalvik cache)
Did you try the correct file?
You're not even giving us anything to go on. You're lucky to have experienced users try to give you answers, but still none can answer correctly since you don't even have (or don't give) a full image of your situation.
Had it been other users, this post had already been lost.
SO think about what you have, and give us anything that could make us help you easier!
Folks, it's fairly apparent what's going on here. In the absence of anything to the contrary, don't feed the troll etc etc.
