WanamLite v5.2 Bluetooth Media Trouble (Resolved) - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
A bit of a noob question I suppose. For the record I've had a search but cant find this same issue.
I cant get bluetooth media streaming to connect in my car on the above rom. At first my car wouldnt pair automatically..it would keep connecting, disconnecting and re-requesting rhe pin...but then I went into BT setting on my phone and manually connected. That seemed to sort it but it will only connect for phone audio and not media audio. When I try check the media stream box it just sort of flashes but no check appears. Any ideas?
I came from PA2.54 and did a factory reset before installing.
Cheers

Turns out I had disabled / prevented a required app from booting while trying to save memory.
See this post for a another I issue I had because of this and a link to a list of apps/functions if you're looking to disable any apps...

Bluetooth - transfer - song?

Before i noticed that there was a option on bluetooth
when you long pressed a song, it would say send to bluetooth or something, i'm now running MIUI, how can i send songs through WIFI?
Send songs where? If you are wanting to send songs in between your computer and your phone, there are a few ftp programs on the market for that.

Any way to force connect to a Bluetooth device?

I just got my new car yesterday, a 2012 Hyundai Veloster, and my phone refuses to connect to the already paired system unless I actually choose to connect to it.
In my Toyota Matrix in which I installed a Clarion CZ500, I had no problems auto connecting.
Can anyone think of why this might be happening or know of a workaround? Unfortunately, Tasker doesn't have a feature to connect to a Bluetooth device.
Check out the pairing section.

I'm going to try to set it up through the voice interface, but it shouldn't make a difference.
It started working properly all of a sudden.

Having the same problem with my Atrix 4G running GB 2.3.4 and my car stereo (Pioneer MVH-8200BT).
Manual connection works fine. This used to work too, I just can't figure out what broke it (2.3 upgrade maybe). I've deleted the BT profiles from both the car stereo and the phone, didn't change anything. (and yes, the car stereo is set to Auto-Connect).
I find this extremely annoying :-/
Is BT on before the car starts? I found that that's the problem.

I'll try to reverse the order and turn the BT on after the radio is fully powered up
At the risk of highjacking an old thread:
How secure is bluetooth.
I'm looking at a bluetooth ignition system.
Function:
When a pairing is made, a relay is turned on.
When the pairing is lost, the relay is turned off.
The device gives no indication, physical or via bluetooth about the relay status.
The device is set to non-discoverable by hardware.
The password is a 20 character alpha-numeric code.
The device performs no function and stores no data, it simply operates from the pairing.
How secure would this be? or more accurately, how much time would likely be required to crack this device assuming no physical access?
Also looked into RFID, but that looks to be easy to crack unless I spend silly money on an active encryption system.

[Q] Getting GS4 to work with Honda USB

I got a new phone and a new car this week. I want them to play nice. I want to listen to Pandora in the car. Bluetooth Audio works fine; however, it doesn't allow you to see the song on the dashboard display and give it a thumbs up and whatnot through BTA. That has to be through the USB port.
So I plug it in and the USB notification flashes like a hundred times - Connected As An Installer. Over and over and over, not giving me a chance to even press it. Then it stops, and the Honda tells me UNSUPPORTED. (For the record, Nexus 7 was also unsupported).
My question is, is there any way to get to the USB settings to change it manually, like you could in olden times pre-JB? I searched through the menus and couldn't find any USB settings besides USB Debugging (which is enabled).
Phone is rooted, stock. Car is 2013 CR-V. I am fine with merely being able to listen to Pandora which is a huge step up from my old car, but I figure, if it can go all the way then why not take it all the way.
When you connect your phone via usb...in your notifications drop down menu select the usb device...it will pop up a window allowing you 2 options...pick the second one...see if that works.

That's the problem, there's no selection available. It flashes for several seconds before disappearing entirely and there is never an opportunity to select anything.
Meanwhile a four year old ipod connects and shows the Pandora information on the car's screen.

Bluetooth settings

Is there a way for the SGS4 to automatically connect to Bluetooth after it has already been paired? It seems I have to select the device and check media and phone every time I get into my car, which seems ridiculous given that an old iPod and my old EvoLte would connect automatically. Am I missing something?

Bluetooth
Go into settings/ all/ bluetooth. Clear cache and data. You will have to pair again, but it might work better.

Iḿ glad to hear that you at least can actually connect toyour TV using the Miracast adapter. Myself cannot and has never connected properly. I get to a point where the Miracast tries to connect but after that nothing happen. Is just blinkng and showing the connect animations. I got the Miracast just a few days ago but as I mention there is no conection whatsoever. Im running Android 4.3 PAC (custom rom) which seems to have the functions ready and setup. Also i triesd using the Smart Tag that came with tyhe Miracast bundle. All results from that one is just some strange system notifcation message which seems imposssible for my ZU to interpret. I really hope someone knows how to fix this. I would preferrably remain in PAC but if somebody has a solid case on the nessesity of stock firrmware maybe I try that... (allthopugh I doubt that this is the case)
Could it be that my ZU just cant deal with the the smart tags properly. I gather this question when trying to use the smart tag...
Have a jolly good weekend everybody!!
Did you solve this? I have same problem with windows 8.1 and miracast. If i surf the web and play music it works fine, but when i play any sort of video the sound starts popping and cracking.
No I sold the adapter and now I use mhl adapter
