Can't enable email built in application - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi friends,
I have a very strange problem:
I've disabled the built-in email application, and now i can't enable it again...
I looked around the forum and found a post with similar problem, but no answers.
Does anyone know how to restore built-in apps? I realy dont want to flash any roms or stocks..
Thanks.

Ok, found solution:
At application manager→all press the setting button and choose "reset app preferences".
This will enable all disabled apps, including the email app!

whats talkback?

whats talkback it gave me an install and update like an app and shows in myapps but dosent come up when i look for it
TalkBack is a screen reader that provides spoken feedback when using native Android applications.
For people with disabilities.
Cannot uninstall unless rooted.
It doesn't read internet pages nor anything beyond your own tablet's system menus and screens. The only and big exception are native applications, basically, Google apps. For example, when you start Gmail, Talkback reads the subject of each mail you tap; when you push any hardware button, it says which has been pushed.

thank you sir found that out but what u said was great also.

MULTI USER for Facebook like Ipad2 ?

Hi there,
Because i ve seen the ipad2 from a friend i ve got a question because i dont like apple´s i really want android based phones/tablets.
He showed me after Facebook APP starting he could choose his profile or the girlfriends one and could set up many more profiles. he simply has to fill in his password for his account and he is logged in. This is a nice feature i really want to have for the galaxy tab.
because non of my close friends have one i ve to ask you here if you could set up a 2nd profile for FB or for the whole tab ?!?
couldnt find the answer anywere and yes i tried googling
thanks for your help
Get FriendCaster in the App market, better than the facebook app and you can have multiple profile associated to it.
FriendCaster
you can try facedroid
Or try out SwitchMe. It will allow you to create multiple profiles that you can boot in to. It requires a reboot to get into the profile, but it allows each profile to have their own apps and settings. I'm currently using it to provide a profile just for my kids so that I can only install the apps that they want, but yet lock everything else down for them.

google search app contact suggestions

hey there,
on 4.0.1 (cm9) i used to use the google search app to search for contacts on my phone. and there, since i turned off every search on the device, exept for contacts, my most frequent contacts showed without me having to enter anything.
now in 4.2 (cm10.1) that doesnt seem to work anymore. i turned off google now (needs web search history and stuff, which i dont like). but no search suggestions (contacts) show before i start typing. and even if i start typing a friends name, first three websearch suggestions are listed, which pushes the following contact suggestions behind the keyboard. this really sabotages my used "workflow".
do you know any possibilities how to get rid of websearch suggestions and have contact suggestions before starting to type? or how to get the old google search app back?
thx for any hint!
and i know, there are other ways to find contacts. but i learned to love this way, because it was quick through my phones permanent search btn. and, if i wanted, i could still seach the web by completing the searchterm and hitting enter...
thx again and hf

[Q] email app disabled

I've had the basic 'email' and 'exchange services' apps disabled for a long time because all I've used is gmail since the beginning. (done via either rooted phone disable originally, or now just manage apps and disable, no root required) Now I have a reason to use them and while I can click 'enable' on exchange services, the email app is listed in the disabled section but the button on it says 'disable' still as if it was functional to start with..
What's the deal and how can I un-stick it?
I'm still working on this and haven't been able to make much headway. I've also found that I can't install the google keyboard because it errors out saying 'already exists'.
Any helpful information welcome.

TASKER: "Send SMS" task not running, but shows OK in log

This is not a problem with profiles and contexts, this is smply about the task itself not working.
What I've done:
1. Go to tasks tab and click the + icon
2. Select "Send SMS" as task
3. Entered a valid phone number
4. "Hi" as message body
5. Save and press the play button to test it.
6. A green dot comes up on the action indicating that it has rin successfully... the same shows up in run logs
But, no sms has been sent, I even checked my sms app's sent/outbox/drafts
I read in someplaces that not all sms apps are supported. So I've tried the following apps:
1. Handcent
2. Textra
3. QKsms
4. Messaging (AOSP)
5. Google Messenger
6. Zero sms
7. GO sms
I made sure they are set as default while testing.
My Device: Coolpad Note 3
OS: Lollipop (not rooted)
I've been at it since a couple of weeks now and no luck at all ! Tasker is set as administrator and has notif access. What am i doing wrong ?
PS- All other sms tasks are working fine !
Bump

I don't have any idea. By the way, there is a section Tasker Tips & Tricks. You might get an answer there.
Also, you can find tasker on reddit too, just search google "tasker reddit". It's a bigger tasker community.
There's also Tasker group on google+.

Hi !
Thanks for the reply. I've already posted in reddit as well, but not luck.
I'll try the section you've mentioned and see. Thanks.
