I recently installed Resurrection Remix JB latest rom on my Galaxy S2 i9100. When I was changing my ringtone, I selected Google Music as "Use Always" but now I can't change it. Is there some way I can reverse it? I can't change Notification/Ringtone sound. PLEASE HELP!
Go to the app info for the music app, and press "Clear Defaults".. Or something to that effect.

This, or you can do it more easily with Default App Manager Lite.

Wierd bug here. My phone is set to always vibrate and it does so for incoming calls however for sms I get the sound but no vibration. I've noticed there is no vibrate option in the messaging settings either :| Anyone got any ideas on fixing this?

Are you using the stock messaging app? What rom and phone are you using?

Yes, stock messaging app on SGS2 (as the forum states). I'm on stock KE2 and rooted via chainfire's rooting method then reflashed stock kernel.
Have you turned on always vibrate from within the messaging app? Go to all threads in the app, press menu, then settings, scroll down to notification settings, then press the option that says "Vibration" and make sure the option for always vibrate is selected.

I would but the setting isn't even there which is what surprised me most!
EDIT: I found an app to let me enable that vibration and it works now but it should be there as an option by default!!! WTF SAMSUNG!

darkalchemist, which app allows to enable vibration? thanks in advance.
upd: found "vibrate tools" app
Its called MineVibrationSetting and you just need to download it from the market and tick the box inside to enable.

Isn't there supposed to have a click sound on the keyboard when you press a button?
I just flashed stock rom again, and on the setup I had the click sound, but as soon as I finished it was gone :-(

Did you check/uncheck the box in the settings ???
It could explain it... Or maybe is the sound off... There isn't any click sound when it's on discret mode.

So When I go to use the dailer it automatically takes me to contacts and to be able to dail a number I have to hit dailer scroll over at the top THEN select phone were I can dail a number this is a MAJOR inconvenance. Any Setting or anyway to fix this?
I have never seen this or heard anyone else complain of this. Are you stock?
Open dialer then go preferences> default tab and set which ever tab you want as default and then every time you open dialer it will be there.

Nothing there for that. theres no Prefernces button. Just settings and theres nothing there either.
It always takes me to the dial pad. I don't see an option to change the default tab.
Running UnNamed 1.0.2

Go in to manage application in setting and clear the data related to phone apk also the dialer data.

Hi.
From some rwason when I open a folder or preview my home screens a voice message plays the action I'm doing.
For instance if I open a folder I hear 'folder opened'.
How can I stop it?
I'm using S3 launcher and it wasn't like this yesterday.
Thanks

I did.
I even un-installed talkback with titanium but it's still playing voice commands when I open folders and such.
You seemed to have this problem with your new S3 launcher.
Try to change it to see if the problem remains.
I found out it has to do with Iphone notification app. When the app privileges are off, I don't have this issue.

Happy to see your problem solved
I got this app Light Flow, and i find it very useful, but i got an annoying issue when i'm opening the folder, it play sound like "Folder is opend" "Folder is close" ...
Any suggestion, or any other application?
U had that problem too, you can't turn that off, the developers have to sort that out, that is if they want to. I liked that app but the vioces really pissed me off

So, is there any application that do the same function?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
If you're using TouchWiz you can't remove that. but use other launcher that will disappear.
After i uninstalled the app, i don't have sounds any more... but i want the other app, that can do the same thing

I found the solution:
For those who wants to try it do the following with your Samsung S3: - Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Talkback "ON" - Select "Settings" from the bottom of the page - Uncheck all Talkback options - Switch Talkback "Off" again - Go back to Settings -> Application manager -> All - Disable Google TTS (text to speech) - Disable Samsung TTS (text to speech)

This solution works well for N7105 (Note 2 LTE)
