Hey guys!
My friend bought himself a new phone, a Samsung galaxy Xcover, and he wants me to root/overclock it, but i can't find any forums, or threads, on XDA, for his device.
Can someone help me with this?
I'm guessing, that someone can, because it's a Droid and I personally have never seen a Droid, that is not rootable..
So, please help!

Because its not about software, its also a hardware update. You could have answered this easily yourself with a quick google search and comparison between devices.

True. I doubt Samsung would just release an 'upgraded phone' like a S2 Plus without naming the reason why. Please search the next time you have a question.

Hi,
I've recently accuired the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-i9105P) and I've been looking everywhere for a tutorial on how to root my device, but I've found nothing, mainly because I keep getting tutorial on other models similiar to the Samsung Galaxy S2. So my question is, how do I root the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus?
Thanks in advance!
We got no idea
You are the first mebmer to ask that.
If it's no big deal, how much did you pay for it?

I think about 320 euro, I still remember that it was cheaper than the S2. But I have no idea on how to root it, so here I am. :silly:

Yeah, is cheaper. Here they sell it for around 640 dollars.
It's too soon for that device, you might have to wait a couple of more weeks to get some intel regarding that matter.

Don't flash anything that isn't intended specificly for your S2 plus.

This is the I9100 forum, A completely different device to i9105P. You wont find any info on rooting a non-I9100x here.

Well, I didn't see any section about the i9105P, so I thought asking it here would be the best option.

It might potentially be useful to look at attempts to root the Galaxy Grand (e.g. at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134216) - that's based on the same Broadcom SoC as the S2 Plus so the software is pretty similar. I think they're not identical enough to flash files designed for one onto the other, but the steps to root it should be the same.

I know the steps already, but the only problem is the firmware. It has been a few week, but no rooted firmware has been released for the Samsung galaxy s II plus (I9105p)
Root is now possible on the Galaxy S2 Plus thanks to chotu222.
For details see this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168700

Your in the wrong device section, this is not a Note tablet. Search google for "xda Galaxy NOTE N8000" and you should find your answers there.

What do you mean by not a note tablet? It clearly says Samsung Galaxy NOTE 10.1 on the box and its a tablet but I did google what you said and I am going to try it, finally someone answer's me...
You're in the original Samsung tab 10.1 section.

Does this one work? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nIYiXzcW7xs
I thought I posted in right section since I went to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 10.1v > Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
I mean I am asking question and I need help so I thought I was suppose to put in this section seems alright to me

http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1735 <<<---- That is the right section for you, if you go here you will get the correct answers you need as well as support for other questions you may have.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 10.1v > Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A <<<--- This is for the first gen Galaxy Tab (it is not a Note device). They are different tablets with different hardware. I can not comment on that video since it does not pertain to the Galaxy Tab, if you go to the link I just posted you will see why you are in the wrong section.
Edit: You are right in posting in the Q & A section, it just not the right device Q & A, just trying to make sure you get the right section so you will get correct advice that will not end up making your device an expensive paper weight....
Hello I currently have a Samsung galaxy note 2 i317m that I unlocked and brought to wind and was wondering if there was a way to remove rogers software (mainly there apps) and put winds on.
