Hi,
I wanted to know if there was an app for my Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 7.5,
basically wanted to control audio and video of my phone (server), from my PC (viewer) via WiFi or 3G connection.

I have a Lobster with Windows Vista (Mobile Device Center 6.1)
Should it be possible by default (or is it possible at all) to surf the internet via Bluetooth / USB cable rather than GPRS?
I can Sync via Bluetooth fine.
Thanks for your help!
browsing via bluetooth or usb
You may have already got this working, but I only just saw your post.
The answer is yes, if your active-sync works actually the USB connection should connect you to the internet through the PC. Bluetooth is a bit more difficult since Microsoft has never understood bluetooth properly (compare with the Nokia PC suite where it takes about 2 clicks to set up!). Anyway after an hour or so of frustration I was able to browse over b/t on my Lobster.
Just for fun I installed Fring and was also able to use Skype and SIP the
same way.
Now just need to unlock the phone!
Good luck.
Mike.
Hi everybody,
i'm trying to sync my hermes with my laptop using windows mobile device Center (6.1) via bluetooth connection.
I have the Shaps 4.31 Full rom on my hermes.
When i try to pair vista and the hermes, Vista asks me for a bluetooth peripheral device driver.
Does anyone knows, where i can get that?
thx in advance,
Shirkan
Are you talking about the dialog in Windows stating bluetooth driver?
How are you transmitting on Windows Vista side?
I have been thinking that using the glorious HD2 screen would be perfect to watch mobile tv on the phone. I am referring to the tv content broadcast by some providers through the DVB-H standards.
Of course there is no dvb-h receiver inside HD2. So whats the solution. I wondering whether we can use the solution that Nokia employs in some of its handsets. A number of Nokia phones including N97 use a bluetooth Mobile TV Receiver (SU-33W) - http://europe.nokia.com/find-produc...-tv-receivers/nokia-mobile-tv-receiver-su-33w
Is it possible to write an application to enable the HD2 to communicate with the Nokia receiver and thereof be able to get mobile tv in the HD2. Nokia phones use the attached application to enable communication with the receiver. The exe file is a .sis extension for symbian S60.....
Kindly let the experts look at this and see whether its possible.

Windows Phone does not support the File Transfer Profile in Bluetooth atm. An upcoming update for the Lumia devices will bring the ability to transmit data over Bluetooth but a release date for this update is not yet known. See also here.
