Hi.I flashed FireDroid 1.2 for Locked bootloader on my Xperia U yesterday but now i cant get back to stock.
I cant flash stock rom over flashtool because i get error flashing,flashing aborted error every time.
And i cant repair it over PC Companion because i wont detect my phone.
Please help me to get back to stock

Post screenshot for flashtool error
For pc companion, go to setting - storage - press menu - (something like computer connection) - choose mtp mode

Make sure u r connecting the phone properly
While connecting just press the volume down button and keep it pressed until u see green light after connecting usb
NO NEED TO PRESS POWER BUTTON ALONG WID VOLUME DOWN
Or if you can get into fastboot, you need to flash a stock based kernel. CM uses a different kernel which is why you're having problems.

Hey, I know this is not correct place for Xperia X10 issue's, but i need to display it in general section, as this one is getting critical..
I uploaded a custom rom on my xperia x10, for that i unlockd the bootloader and stuff..
Now, my phone is switched off since 15 days, when ever i try to switch it on, it vibrates once and nothing at all afterwards...if i press power button again, it won't vibrate, unless and untill i remove the battery and reinsert it in phone..
i see three red flashes of light, when connected to PC..
1. PC Companion for update, repair and custom repair is not working...most of the time phone is not detected..
2. SE-update service is also not working and phone is shown as Xperia arc..
3. Flashtool, doesn't recognize the handset
4. few, technician told me box flash would work, but again, it didn't work out
Now, i don't know much about this, but i do understand that hardware seems to be good, till now, the only issue is software and that to initial boot process i.e. bootloader.
is there any other way i can upload a new custom rom on my xperia ??
or any other solution, will be appreciated..
I'm assuming download mode didn't work? Pull battery and insert cord/battery/press back button at same time while aytempting to flash through flashtools?
I have tried flash tools with this method, but doesn't helps..
I don't know about download mode, is it the same done through PC companion..

Same issue
I have a similar issue.
When I try to flash it through flashtool, I get this error
"ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed""
Plus the phone is not also going in the recovery mode.
Please please help me.
Hey guys, I'm new to Sony. My Xperia U displays a black screen when I try too turn it on.
The screen shows a crying smiley face with the text:
"sorry, the phone crashed. please wait until crash data is saved and do not pull the battery".
It just stays like that and nothing happens. What can I try? I've already downloaded flashtool, because it seems the everything SOny is done via this tool.
Any ideas?..

i have a xperia s!but i think this should work for u too !
download the latest flashtool
download the stock firmware for your phone
enter in flash mode by pressing (and keeping) the volume down when pluging the phhone into the usb
and flash again the stock firmware. (flashtool has a very simple interface)
that should work for you,you can give it a try!

I tried it on my xperia l but not working.
I have rooted my phone,and insttalled CWM.Further when i m trying to flash by CWM the touch screen is not working.Cannot install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748576

Mmm... I don't know. I successfully managed to install exMIUI and MiniCMSandwich without using the touchscreen. I don't think CyanogenTimescape has a different installer, but you should aske in the proper ROM thread. Anyway, I'll probably try to install it today... I'll let you know.
When select boxes surges in aroma installer you have first to selct that box, and for that you don't use the touchscreen but the volume +/-!
And to select that box you have to click the volume + key, and when in the box, you can select the option you want with the volume -/+, and then returns down to the "next" button.
I think is that you are asking, and if so, there is nothing wrong with your touchscreen!

i have the same problem hope you can help me

i manage to downgrade it to GB from ICS with no problem at all
i flash NEROICS but i didnt notice that this ROM already includes aroma on it
meaning to say i put in NEROICS ROM and AROMA installer separately on my sdcard
i managed to flash NEROICS ROM with no problem at all then i restarted my device and went to CWM to flash AROMA installer
it asked me to calibrate the screen which i did then all of a sudden calibration fails
so the screen didn't respond as expected now and the only thing which i can do toi set it up is to use the vol up and down and the menu key
after setting it up still the screen didn't work as expected

i choose to relock the bootloader and put back the stock ROM hoping that PC companion or SEUS might fix the problem with my screen

but my problem my friend is i can no longer proceed on the process as my BOOTLOADER is now locked again and my phone is completely blank black screen
i dont have my IMEI number coz i no longer have the box with me..

i managed to unlock the bootloader anf flash it with .62 firmware and the st15i is now working again however the touch and softkeys are not working and i wasnt able to turn on the USB debugging..i cant proceed on rooting the phone that will enable me to go to cwm..please help

Flashing via flashtool doesn't need you to turn your phone on.So,Download an official firmware from the thread "daydu19: has given and try to flash with flashtool. Flashtool needs your phone to be off and volume down key pressed when you connect your phone to your PC. If it fails,try "6. Turning the "brick" into a smartphone" from the thread. I finally managed it with the volume buttons, though it was hard, moving blindly.
On most screens, one time volume up ends you on the 'next' button, so when you press the power button, you progress to the next screen.
Help I accidentally flashed a wrong kernel to my xperia SOLA MT27i. It won't turn on now and PC can't detect it either.
Please advise.

I suppose the phone is off now?
If so try: download stock ROM and put it in flashtool/firmware, start flashtool, choose the stock rom with wipe data, vol - and put USB in so you can enter flashtool mode and flash official ROM.

I've tried connecting sola to PC but it seems like flashtool can't detect it. Is there other way to connect it to PC so flashtool can detect the device? I already downloaded stock firmware
Still no luck
1) Hold power + vol up until you feel the phone vibrates 3 times.
Quickly hold power down, and shove the USB wire in.
It should detect your phone in flashboot now.
2) Alternatively, after the phone vibrates 3 times, keep a hold on vol up to get it into fastboot. Then flash the correct kernel for the rom you have.
Note that ICS, GB and CM roms all use a different kernel. Make sure you have the right one.
3) Lastly, if your phone's bootloader is still locked, you can just repair using SUS.
My xperia neo v wont go beyond sony logo...
My phone has a locked bootloader ,Clockwork recovery+rooted.I was using stock sony rom 4.04 ics .587
I accidently tried to install a rom that requires unlocked bootloader(iam an idiot) ,So now my phone wont boot up not even in recovery....
I remember that while installing the wrong rom..it showed "installation aborted"
What should i do now.....help:crying:.................do you think my bootloader may be messed up

When you go into flashmode (back button + power) do your LED blink?
As I can see you have Windows 8 are you sure you have properly drivers installed?
Try redownloading the ftf, seems like the problem is in ur ftf cause when it loads the loader it aborts it

No..led becomes blue for fastboot mode(pressing menu while connecting usb) and green for flash mode(back button while connecting usb)......I think it may be due to drivers.(win 8.1 has some compability issues as I have heard)
