Guys I'm new to this forum...
I'm using sgs2 I9100
I'm having a bought here..
my device is not coming up for not more then 12hours..
2-2:30 hours of MUSIC.
2 Hours of Games.
No use of WiFi any internet thing for whole day..
when i post this it was abt 10 hours.
i'm using betterbatterystats
it shows like this
Awake (): 6 h 42 m 32 s (24152 s)
Ratio: 54.3%
Screen On (): 3 h 50 m 30 s (13830 s)
Ratio: 31.1%
i have attached the dump file here please do me a favour and say the problem why i'm not getting more than 12hours of stand by...

Almost 4 hours screen on, almost 7 hours awake including 2 hours of gaming sounds pretty normal to me.
Indeed, if you're using the phone constantly, the battery will drain. Seems logical, no?
Did you buy the everlasting never runs out of battery model or the plain old model .???

With screen on: 3 h 50 m 30 s. So that means he was gaming half the time the screen was on. What was he doing the other half of the time the screen was on? Probably surfing the internet or facebooking? Who knows? He doesn't say. But if the screen was on, it was eating battery. Almost 4 hours of screen on time is pretty good, actually.
I also didn't see a remaining percentage at the time this data dump was taken, but maybe I missed it.

no!!!!! i didn't use any internet app because to see the stand by time i've planned to don't use the fb and any other internet APPS... but it says screen was on for 4 hours...
2hours i've been played games thats all..
either you use internet app or not, having almost 4 hours screen on sounds normal to me(taking in note that playing music and games does eat battery). i can continue for almost 5 hours screen on (gaming, online gaming, facebook, whatsapp blah blah blah) before i am almost drain out.
unless you are telling me that you just on your screen and do nothing with your phone.

I was just guessing. But the screen was recorded as being on for an additional 1hr 50 min, so you were clearly doing SOMETHING.
seeing your stats i noticed juice defender count is over 2000,juice defender never worked for me on the s2 try without, does juice def having issues starting the service?
my stats are similar to yours with 18hrs since charged, your usage and screen has been on for alot longer and i noticed your not rooted? theres really no point helping unless you use software by these mods since theres large improvements with battery life already
anyways this device seems so awsome, but 4hours of usage is sooo dumb... y couldnt they give it at least a 2200mah battery or something?
Playing games is very different from watching videos on your phone. It uses far more RAM and CPU power, both which contribute to high drain battery drain and not to mention the display is on and sound etc. Also, using Internet with 3g (data on) will use more power than internet using Wifi. I'm using a 2000mAh battery, and can typically get between 3 and 4 hours screen time making calls, texts, usings apps and browsing the internet over a 24 hour period, medium to heavy usage, easy. My oiriginal battery 1650mAh gave me almost 5 hours video playback streamed from my laptop (so wifi was on all this time aswel), and almost 24 hours standby. But i hardly did anything else with it.
I c, so my only question would be if I buy this device + a 2000mah battery, put on the newest android, how many hours video playback can I get with wifi, gps , sync and data connation off? I basically only want to watch videos .
That depends on the display brightness ur using but it should give u a few more hours I guess ;-)

What on screen time should i be getting out of the z2? Some days i only get 3-4 hours of just casual usage. Need to send it back to sony for a few other issues ( light leaking from where the glass meets the frame of the device, notification led is faded on the right hand side) and wondering if i should get them to check my battery?
Also should i be able to see light through the headphone jack?

These things are abnormal because i currently always pass 14 hours of life
And light should only leak from Sd card slot
Try contacting sony repair centre as you are entitled to a free repair or replacment as stated by your 2 year internatonal warrenty

14 hours on screen time? The 3 to 4 hours im referring to is on screen time, the device lasts a few days if i don't use it.

I hit about 7 hours avg and about 9hrs total if i use heavily
About 3-4 hours screen on and about 14-16 hours usage total

Lol yeah I get it. When you get 4 hours on screen what sort of things are you doing? Also what screen brightness? I always have mine at 100 percent. Anything less then that just doesn't look right imo.

So it seems like my battery is probably ok then.
At the moment i have 37% left
1 day 8 hours on battery,
3 hours 32 mins on screen
And just used youtube, web browsing, camera, 20 mins of modern combat 5
I bought my i9100 7 months ago. When I first have it I was very happy. But from first day of having this phone I've been facing many issues. Just because of this I become a flashcoholic (I flashed new rom more than 500 times I think) but nothing have changed. Here, I am using this little monster for 7 months. I can handle almost everything by myself to this phone but this problem. Screen starts blinking at 8% avarage. And few seconds later it turns off without warning. I changed battery because voltage is too low (I saw 2.9V when %8) new battery is same...
My old battery drains in 1 hour max (screen on time)
New battery 3 and a half hour but problem is still here.
And most of all I changed my screen mom have broke it... But old screen is also doing this.
Btw I bought this phone from someone so it didnt come with box it has already used.
And I almost forgot it... My old screen is better than this one.. Colors was really great on sunlight
Maybe it's a hardware related problem. But first,flash stock JB rom and see if the problem persists
I have exactly the same problem with this one. I bought two sets of new battery and still the same. It even dont prompt me lowbatt notification. When it reaches 40% it just flicker and die and it will not boot anymore until you charged it coz the battery is dead batt. I dont know if this has to be calibrated because im using 2000mAh before.

On stock ROM, i used to get around 7 hours of screen on time. On CM i can BARELY get 4 hours (screenshots attached), usually it's just 3.5 hours.

[No 2g, No 3g, only Wifi, that too only around 60-70% of the time, no heavy tasks AT ALL. Only whatsapp/telegram/calling/music, that too, not simultaneously]
I mostly just whatsapp with my phone. Rare music playback (with screen off), a bit of calling (very less). 3.5 hours of screen on time seems a bit too less to me. :|

install trickstar mod ... and set the min freq...to 300mhz.... and set it on each boot (there is an option ,google it)

Battery drain in CM
Hi so I have an S4 and the battery has been fine for months but all of a sudden it hardly will last through a regular day. It loses around 5% an hour with the screen off and 1% a minute with the screen on. I get around 45 minutes of screen on time a day which seems terrible. The main thing that is using it it android kernel and android OS. Any fix's? I am rooted and running 5.0.1 and have never changed the kernel. (At least not on purpose) any help is nice.
