i've already answered you in another thread, i guess you didn't believe me.
it's dead. an x.x.51.x radio has killed it.
you can
1 send it to t mobile
2 send to htc
3 buy and learn about jtag
that's all.

I don't know what model you would be using in Cambodia, but, like the man says, the wrong radio will brick the phone if it's the wrong one for the model you use.
You still haven't told us the model number.
Even if you live in Cambodia: your phone is bricked, most probably no Software solution
In order of reality:
1st HW solution: Buy a new one
2nd HW solution: Replace motherboard (perhaps not definitive solution)
3rd HW solution: Grab an osciloscope, measure and test the device, find out which chips are done, replace them.
But to be honest: If you cannot send it to HTC or t-mobile for repairs, you have an expensive paperweight. sorry for that mate.
Please note: if you can send it for repairs: chance is this could cost major money: If they find out you HSPL-ed your device, all costs will fall back on you and you will be facing a big bill. If it absolutely does nothing at all, chance is they will replace it free of charge, but absolutely no guarantee this will happen as their diagnostic equipment can see more than you would like...

look here, it will set you back $329, still your phone is probably bricked beyond JTAG's capabilities.
As for your other question: it is a combination of a jig (hardware/box), connector(s) and software.
Also note that if you can access the phone using JTAG, it is still possible you will need other replacement parts to fix it
Problem there: obtain the parts, price of the parts.
I believe you are beter off buying a new one.
BTW: the question about the phone keeps playing up:
a t-mobile HD2 says nothing. t-mobile Europe is completely different from t-mobile US (TMOUS), therefore the repeated question about your phone type.
google "riff jtag" costs about 150 euro, and you will need to dismantle the phone to do it.
on the plus side, if done right it will work, plus once you have a jtag box you can make money fixing other peoples phones. (works with many kinds of phone.)
Thanks all user.

its a tmous, it was already established in another thread, plus only the tmous shows those symptoms when flashing non tmous radios.
Unless you are experienced in this kind of work i would SERIOUSLY recommend you send this away for repair. JTAG route means taking your device apart and soldering, not for the faint hearted!!
There is no software solution, if your device cannot enter bootloader, im afraid its properly bricked!
Use the web to locate nearest repair centre.
Dear PA49
i also in cambodia and faced the same problem as yours.. the damn **** expensive bricked hd2.. i dont know if u have solved your problem.. mine is still waiting for 3 days by a mobile care shop in my home town.,..he charge me 30$
this is my phone number 017 777373
and probably your boot is erased, not a must you have your jtag, you can take it
to a repair shop for dead boot repair/unbrick.

way to go to resurrect a two year old thread
Hey I've been looking through all the other threads for the past few days and nothing has helped. My normal network is orange but a few days ago i believe it was after i flashed neat ROM i couldn't connect to my network i tried a few different sim cards in there but some worked and some didn't, now today i flashed Miui android and the sim cards that used to work don't now.. I've contacted orange and they are sending me a new sim card. I've tried flashing stock ics and gingerbread also stock orange firmware, IMEI is the same as under the battery.
Is it..
Blacklisted?
Hardware?
EFS?
Thanks in advance
Did you try this already?
Yeah, sorry should have said, this was the first thing i tried
Before contacting Orange, Did you try your sim in another phone or try reinstalling Original Orange firmware.
Going from one custom rom to another custom rom because of the problems you were getting, will more than likely create more problems.
From recovery, data/factory reset. advanced wipe delvik cache. Mounts and Storage format system and data.
Use Odin to reinstall latest firmware or the original firmware that came with your phone.
Then make a nandroid backup. Plus backup your EFS.
Once its all working.. Then and only then.. try a custom rom.
Thanks for helping, but that has not worked, i also got my new sim in the post just now and that has not worked either.. :/

Sorry to hear that. If you have already tried original firmware and your imei is correct then it looks like it may have to go in for service.
Dont forget to use triangle away if your still on ICS to remove any binary counts or use USB jig with old bootloader. Then flash your original firmware back to your phone before sending it in though.

Blacklisted surely Orange would have told you .
EFA unlikely if you have correct IMEI you can always restore your backed up EFS folder .
Hardware possible but as you have messed with roms my guess would be you have wrong CSC and not entered network settings manually .

Sounds like you already had an idea that the IMEI was blocked from your first post. Sugesting that you have a fair idea that it was stolen. If not, I hope you get your money back. If on the other hand you knew!!, I and I imagine all the other members of this site wil help you no further. And I hope you get what you deserve!!!

If it was stolen it wasn't my fault it was CEX's fault for selling it to me, i reckon someone sold it to CEX either to claim insurance or it was stolen and then sold to CEX then me. I would rather get the IMEI unblocked instead of a refund do you know if they have the power to do that?

No they will not have the power to do that," that would make it a criminal offence, if it already is'nt ". Take your receipt back to the shop along with the phone and demand your money back.

Okay, thank you, will do, if i get money i may just have to invest in the GS3 in a couple of days. thank you for your help
Ok apologise if this has been covered before.
I upgraded my desire a few days ago to the S3 on orange UK network who i've been with for over 10 years.
Only to find the the option to check/update to the latest firmware has been removed by orange bloatware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Settings-about decive - no option there .
Seems others are not happy too

Anyone here having the same issue.
Apparently a lot of people have sent it back and demanded an unbranded model. They've been successful in getting one by citing that the orange branded version is missing an imperative feature.

Ask to speak to retentions. Also, don't be afraid to ask for somebody else if you can't understand what the person is saying. You're a paying customer with a problem that needs to be resolved.

been on the phone for 2 hours to orange , they are telling me that all orange phones do not have the software update option which i know is bulls**t as iv'e seen them on here and in the flesh , he said he personally agreed with me in that it should not be removed and he's reported it as a complaint and passed on.
I have an Orange UK i9300, and I too don't have the upgrade option. I did plug in to Kies yesterday and got an update though. Had to root again after, but no big deal.
I don't really understand what your problem is with it not being there, you're on XDA forums! Why don't you just flash an unbranded stock ROM on to it if you're really that bothered?

Just install CWM and do a nandroid backup of your current ROM, then flash any ROM you like (stock or not).
Then if you ever need to call on warranty you can restore your backup and use Triangle Away to get the flash counter down to 0.
Regarding OTA updates, they would be Orange branded anyway if the upgrade option was there, so you'd be back to square one. If you had an unbranded ROM, you would get Samsung updates.
Thanks for that , yes i understand i can do all that , my point is why has it been removed on some orange phones and not others , it should of been left on there in the first place so i have a choice of using either ota or kies even the orange technician totally agreed with me, no other network has done this .
:good:
Maybe Orange wanted to prevent everyone from downloading a ~100MB per phone update through their network.
However in that case they should at least send an Sms and tell customers that they could get a free firmware upgrada at any Orange shop...
Flashing an original Rom will not increase the flash counter since it's Samsung-signed.
The part about voiding warranty is rater complicated. Manufacturers want you to believe that the warranty is void when flashing custom stuff, but they also want to make you believe that opening a computer's case voids the warranty.
Usually that is even true, but note that there is a difference between the optional warranty the manufacturers offer at their own terms and the warranty as required by law which has completely different terms in each country.

so was you successful in getting your s3 exchanged from orange. I will be flashing an unbranded rom but i want to back up the useless orange rom just incase i have to ever send it back. Just cant figure out how to back up the orange rom at the moment.
I'm new here, so if this is in the wrong place, I apologize.
I have a Nokia Lumia 920 Stuck in Demo Mode. Ive read up I need to flash the Rom for it to be removed as a hard reset wont work.
Can anyone help instruct me how to flash the rom or walk me through it?
The phone is my work phone for AT&T. I'm a sales consultant, and they told me to try and reset it and if it wouldn't work they would order me one, but im currently phoneless and would hate to have to wait a week for a new phone to come to the store.
Thanks!
Try to updates your phones firmware; if updates available it will get it without any problem. Otherwise contact your nearest nokia care centre for more info on it. Thanks!
Hey y'all!
Well I finally did it. I had tons of time on my hands and decided to screw around with my phone. After days of tweaking and messing around I managed to delete the wrong files during a factory reset which bricked my phone. Now even with a full battery none of the buttons work, plugging it in does nothing, and it is as they say a brick. Does anyone know of a jtag service that can work on the LG V10? I have checked some sites out, but so far no luck. Really trying to avoid the enormous deductible for a replacement phone (yes I know my warranty is voided).
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!
Not sure off hand, these places seem few and far between maybe tray searching "JTAG snapdragon 808" or something like this as opposed to specific to v10
But really if it truly bricked and nothing turns on it is doubtful they will know why it bricked, you could just claim you were updating from ll to mm via official kdz in download mode and everything went blank
Then it's only deductible

Yeah I thought of that, but my deductible is $175 so I was hoping for a jtag at $50 like I have seen on eBay. I just contacted some of them and one got back to me stating that there has not been a jtag release for the V10 and that most new phones probably wont even get them. At least I have insurance. Last time I mod this soon after an update!

The phone should still be under warranty. Just send it to LG. Although, their repair technician's don't seem to be able to repair jack, so you may still be SOL.

Well when you send it in for warranty they give you a new phone. This is what I have considered doing. Just worried they could tell it was rooted.
