Is any one having a problem with audio and video being out if sync when streaming content.
Doesn't matter what app I use, YouTube, plex, Netflix, dish network sling box. All audio and video is out of sync.

What ROM are you running?
I'm running Hatka DNA 2.3 but I also had the problem on stock.

Does anyone else have this issue on stock or any other rom?
I have this on certain youtube videos. Sometimes its second behind, others only milliseconds. There was a big thread on this topic in the General section. It should come up in a search. I don't think it was ever solved.
Stock but rooted.

I just got my EVO 3D and have tried a plethora of players including VPlayer, QQPlayer, MoboPlayer, and Vital Player
So far only Vplayer has not had syncing issues and the subtitles appear at the correct time.
Subtitles are out of sync on everything else.
Also after 2 minutes or so VPlayer stops displaying subtitles all together though.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Any tips?
My phone is not rooted by the way.
I'd be grateful for any assistance I receive.
Files are 720p by the way
Also I am unsure if I posted this in the right subforum.
Sorry if I did.
Anyone?
Anyone at all?
Just gonna keep this alive I guess.
Have you tried DicePlayer?

Working a lot better than others so far.
Subs sync good, quality is good overall.
Only issue is subs can cut off if a sentence is a bit long.
I might switch to this if no other solution comes up.
Thanks for the tip
No problem. I discovered it a few weeks ago and it has been my goto player since.

Ok so DicePlayer now has an issue after watching something longer than 5 minutes.

It looks like the timing is mixing up with the subs?
Anybody run Plex app on this device? Does work smoothly? On my SGS2 it freezes and crashes alot, and won't play flac, even though the device supports flac.
yea i am using plex. Very simple to use and easy to configure. It was streaming movies which were BRip without any sound distortion and no skipping.
Great to hear. No problems?

I'm noticing that videos recorded on the device are slightly laggy on playback. It seems to happen at some points. A restart helps, but I don't know why its happening. Other full hd videos play smoothly and I have tried other video players with no luck. Verizon galaxy s3.
Is it ones that you record? If so is it on1080p?

Do you find them laggy on the stock video player? I find that they do stutter a bit on third party video apps, but they're perfectly fine on stock video player.
Yes, on the stock player. I took some video of my son the other day and when I played it back for my mom, it started stuttering at the end. But, I just played it for myself yesterday and it worked fine. Not sure what's up.

I've found a work around,it sucks but if you record in 720p the video that you record wont lag at all, I've called Samsung they said to try a factory reset. But I'm not going to I'm OK with my 720p. Hope this helps you guys out, if any body trys a factory reset and it works please come back and let us know.

I have noticed that ocassionaly the last couple frames stutter. But I've recorded a lot of 1080p videos and no other problems playing back on stock player. 3rd party video players on the phone are hit and miss tho (mostly miss).
I'm running into the same problem. It seems to be the player. When I upload the videos onto my pc they playback smoothly but when I play them on the stock player on the phone it lags badly.
I've had issues with the stock? video player since i got the phone. it usually plays for a bit then says "Video cannot be played" this happens to pretty much all sites I visit that contain video. any ideas? or same problem? I tried using chrome and the video player that is used there is really crappy.

Sometimes, you need to change the decoder method. You can either do that from the menu or from the upper right hand corner (although from there I believe it only changes for that particular video while changing it from the menu changes the default).
