Hi there!
i was wondering if you have any information about what's the best modem for Chile or south America (movistar if you may) on Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
Now I'm trying UltimaROM 8.1.1 but I got bad signal...maybe I can Flash another Modem Available
PLS
Thanks

Best thing is try different modems out if you are not satisfied with what you currently have.

[Q] International Compatibility

So I asked a question like three days ago and I think I wasn't very clear
I have a Mexican SG3 and I want to try one of the European Jelly Bean Roms that have been out for weeks but I haven't really understood how does the builds and basebands work on this phone, I used to have an epic 4g touch from Sprint and I was used to only have one kind of baseband because it's an us phone only, but with this one I don't know what all the XX(insert random letters here) builds mean cause my phone has a build number of UBBLG2 and I'm afraid that if I install one of the jelly bean roms my data service will be lost...could someone please tell me how does this work

since its the international s3, you have no problem.
If you lose your service flash a compatible modem/radio from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1740061

There is only one modem for JB, much more simple than allthe ics stuff. In the pointed thread download XXDLID baseband if you don't already have it.

Jelly bean 4.1.2 for GT-I9300T new zealand

I am using samsung galaxy GT-I9300T (telecom new zealand). Currently i am using Jelly Bean 4.1.1 in my phone. Officiall Jelly Bean 4.1.2 is here but i am not able to update my phone with latest JB 4.1.2. I have tried with wifi, Kies and phone network. It says that its the latest version which i am using.
What should i do.? Please help

Go to settings/about phone and take note of your baseband. Then Go to sammobile.com and download the latest Vodafone NZ Firmware. It's JB 4.1.2 XXEMA1. Then, as you're a Telecom customer download and re flash you're modem/baseband using recovery.
You'll now have latest official NZ Jelly been and a Telecom compatible modem/baseband
P.S You can use a Vodafone modem/baseband on Telecom without issues so re flashing your old baseband isn't essential. You may get better signal with a Telecom specific (T variant) modem though.

Thank you for your reply
But i am not with vodafone. My phone's carrer is TELECOM NZ. Will it work with Vodafone firmware nz?
Yes any firmware works with any carrier. Vodafone NZ Firmware isn't branded and doesn't contain Vodafone bloat.
You can use the modem that comes with firmware or download T variant modem and flash that.

You are still not getting it. Flash the ATT ICS modem. Flash a Canadian ICS modem. Flash a Gingerbread modem. All on the forum.
There's no such thing as a Gingerbread or ICS or JB modem. The modem is universal to all galaxy s phones, so you can use any you please.
The best modem for your situation is the current modem, the LF6.
