I'm using a Samsung Note II from sprint and currently running macksrom 3.6 (reinstalled to see if issue will subside) When I open up the marketplace there are blank squares. I have tried clearing the data and cache in the play store as well as the google play services. I also cleared the normal cache and dalvik with no success. And even with a fresh install, still the same things. Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? picture is provided so you guys can see what I mean. Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks guys :good:

After installing the updated Google+, I started having a ton of data connectivity problems. I was able to uninstall Google+ and that seems to have fixed those issues. The one remaining issue I'm having is that whenever I go to "My Apps" in the market, all it shows is a white blank screen. I can download and install apps just fine (and even update them) but I can NOT get to the my apps screen. I was on Market 3.1.5 when this started. I've tried clearing Market data, market cache, changing Google accounts, clearing cache and dalvik from CWM, uninstalling and reinstalling the market via TiBu (both with and without data) and even updating to market 3.3.11 which is posted in the Apps and Themes section - all to no avail. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm on CM7 not beta not nightly version with faux123's 1.45GHz kernel.
Have you tried clearing the cache for market, that normally clears things up.

I have tried that, too...

If you have multiple gmail accounts on your phone make sure your market is selecting the right one.

Sounds like the issues I was having ... try this "link below".. but instead of using their apk use the 3.3.11 vending.apk. Thats what I did and seems to be good now. If you have FC issues, clear your cache and Dalvik...

Hi OP, I put together a small app aiming to fix this. Can you try it and see if it fixes your problem?

Google Play randomly locks up my SGS2 running CyanogenMod 7:
Nothing else gives this problem on my phone, and my phone also had this same problem with the old Google Market App. Is there anyone else having the same problem as me, and more importantly does anyone know a fix
you could try clearing the cache, settings-->applications-->manage applications-->select google play and clear cache.
it is a known issue with cwm 7.1 and s2. have a read to the official cwm forum... workaround use appbrain. the issue occurs when you scroll in the market/play app
OK Guys thanks for the pointers.
I'm getting Google PLay FCs all the time!
I don't why my google play is giving continous force closures.removing cache or unistalling update is not working.
No answer here but at least you'll know you are not alone.

I've rooted and installed the CM9 kang on my Tab 10.1. Everything is functioning just as it should e/crept for that fact that I can't download certain apps from the app store. It let me download Facebook, Chrome beta, beautiful Widgets, and Google currents without issue.
But then I tried to download a couple games like Angry Birds, Angry Birds space and a couple of other random games and I keep getting an error from the market telling me that an internal error is preventing the download.
I have tried formatting cache, dalvik cache, and fixing permissions but nothing seems to be fixing it. Would re-installing the market help? What else should I try?
Thanks for any advice.
maybe it will work!

You should try another google ID if possible , if that does not work I would recommend you reflashing the Rom and if that doesn't work try another Rom!
Hope it helps!

I would wipe and flash again. It's a pain, but typically does the job. The use titanium backup to restore the apps u need, not the data, just the apps. Hopefully you already have the app, if not it's worth the cash. When I downloaded Kang my app market worked a few times, than stopped. I just restored my Google play store from titanium and have had smooth sailing ever sense. Good luck!

My Gmail kept crashing, and I read that I should clear cache and data for Google Services Framework. Since I've done this, I can't download anything from the market. At first I was getting error number 921. I messed around with clearing the cache and data for a bunch of Google apps, including the Play Store, and now I'm getting error number - 101. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. It started today for me. Error 495. I've cleared caches, data, uninstalled and reinstalled play store, but still can't download anything. Is google having a problem? I haven't changed anything.
Thanks for any wisdom re: this issue.

I got stuck with a similar issue a month ago. What threw me was the errors always reported trouble accessing Google Servers. Guess what it was? My google wallet had been disabled because "The administrator of my domain" had changed the password. I AM the admin for my Google Apps domain. Stupid error reporting had me going crazy for a few weeks.
I caught on that it was my account when I tried another google account in play store and it worked.
This may not be either yours or the OPs problem, but if it's only PAID apps that won't download, you should look into your Google wallet. When you hit the page for account info, it will tell you if it is disabled. Worth checking out. If not, look for an apk for "Market Enabler" that can help otherwise. Good luck.
Hey all,
I'm currently running Liquidsmooth Rom on my AT&T Galaxy SIII. I've got everything running fine, but when I go to install Facebook from the Play Store, I'm getting "Package file invalid" every time. I've tried clearing data from both the play store and the google play services, rebooted the phone into recovery and cleared cache and dalvik cache. The same thing happens no matter what.
After searching Google for an hour, I've tried everything. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!
Edit
After trying to download on LTE rather than on WIFI, it worked fine. Please ignore and close this thread. Thanks!

It's not you. I have an unrooted phone and I have mines set to auto-update and I got the same message just yesterday. I think Facebook is going through some things right now. I heard that it was not updating properly from the Play Store up until a couple of days ago. Give it another few days I would suppose. Then contact Google and see what gives if it's doing the same thing.
