Right now there are four different threads on "fix broken toichscreen"
You just made another one... With the exact same fix...
And atleast give credits to the actual user who stated the fix... :sly:

my friend installed ultimat HD ( ics rom ) on his phone ( st15i with locked bootloader) and when he was installing that he choose wrong rom in installation ( he choose LWW ) and after it he lost touch.....
i found some ways in xda threads like installing HyBrom_v10 but NOT working for fixing problem i unlocked bootloader and i did same agian not workd i tried some other way but still not working
i've to say that when i flashing Hybrom_10 i have touch on both soft keys and touchscreen but touch point is not correctly on finger its on another parts of screen......
the metod that i tested...
lunatic2nuts :
-STEP 1: Install lastest firmware .62 for st15i. - use Flashtool
-STEP 2: Then via CM from zip install hybrom_v10. for minipro (sk17i)
-STEP 3: Then again flash lastest firmware .62 for st15i
And in future be carefull, and stay away from minipro ROMs

Dear Mods, could You make this thread sticky please???
I hate to rain on the parade, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
Is there anything a new user like me might have missed?
I have flashtool installed, along with the drivers. Flashing itself works without a problem, so I think I didn't screw up there.
I also triple-checked that I have the right firmware files and everything.
Like many, I've settled on trying random combinations of firmwares and roms now.

I'm used to flash Kernel first, but reading through the forums I've read that should be the same.
Actually, its better to flash kernel first and then do wipes and flash Rom!
Though doin the other way round too is fine, in some cases, but not all!

Of course that kernel has cwm inbuilt!
The problem is not in kernel!
Its just because you are flashing cm9 which is Ics
And FXP 150 or 149 is Jb! I guess!
So it just won't work!
Kernel and Rom have to be same!
Either Ics both or Jb both!

Currently using xperia T v6 with sauve kernel.
As in the picture its says fxp149 cm9. I will explain what I am doing to install cm9.....
double clicking cm9.zip and extracting boot.img and pasting it in c:flashtool/firmwares then switching off device. fastboot, blue light.. clicking flash icon-- fastboot mode then select kernel to flash --- select boot.img --- done
Switching on device, it just vibrates after nothing happens....
then again flash sauve kernel then sony logo comes up and phone boots up...
what am i doing wrong plz help me in installing cm9.. want to try cm9 .
Wait.... Why don't you try to flash kernel via cmd!
This is the command!
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Try flashing this!
Ps :flash after goin in fastboot mode! Just don't use flashtool this time! Maybe this could work!

i have tried that too... by both methods...flashing status is ok in the log
Then last option!
Flash stock fw again

.54 kernel is not rootable, thats why you have to flash .10 kernel on .54 firmware, then root and flash .54 kernel back.
You can try this metod on .c.1.0, youcan always use stock tft to recovery...
Try flash C.1.0 firmware, then flash .10 kernel only, root it and then try to flash c.1.0 kernel back.

Well thats cool when it worked... Did you update C.1.0 via pc companion or you did flash tft with flashtool?
Click to collapse
I updated with flashtool...flashed only the kernel 6.1.1.C.1.0 i know that using PC Companion removes the root if you update your phone through it...doesn't it?
Guys i have a problem again!
When i try to copy a song on my phone, some folders that existed at my phone before rooting do not exist now! and i can't copy files from my PC to my phone! any suggestions?
