[Q] AOSON M11 touch screen is freezing - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i have this chinese tablet from not more then 2 weeks. It was working perfectly till two days ago. Suddenly the touch screen is not working any more, the only way two make it functioning is with mouse. I have done the fabric reset, but still the problem persists. Anybody can suggest me any solution. I could not understand if it is hardware problem or not. I didn’t found anything similar on the net. The fabric firmware is 2.23.
Thanks in advance.

Touchscreen freezing

I have a irritating problem. Sometimes when i use my "LGP500" the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. The phone isn't stuck cause the homebutton works, but touch doesn't work at all.
But if i lock the phone, and unlock it, the touch works perfect again.
This happens sporadically, and I have no idea why. I'm thinking it's a software error, as it always works after a lock/unlock.
I found this text on a iphone forum and it describes exactly what is happening with my P500 (3 months old). It started a few weeks ago. I have the 2.3.3 oficial room and the hard reset cant solve my problem. Anyone with a similar problem? this is hardware or software problem?
you could try and do a factory reset. doesn't sound like a hardware problem, if touch screen does work. if that still doesn't work, maybe try a custom rom or take it back.. but your right sounds like a software problem.

touchscreen won't respond after a minute of use

Hello have a good day,
As the title shows I have an archos 80 g9 1.2ghz edition I have searched but my problem with my tablets touchscreen is different from others. i gave this tablet as a gift to my sister upon vacation here in the Phils. Several weeks ago, we updated the tablet to Archos latest stock firmware 4.0.7 and it runs good after the update and played several movie streaming afterwards. While streaming movies the tablet keep on playing and wouldn't respond to touch. We turned off the tablet and let it rest for a while and sure upon booting it up again it works that seems it has no problem, but after several minutes the touchscreen hangs again and won't respond. I turned off and recalibrated the tablets touchscreen upon next boot but it's still the same as usual it hangs after several minutes of use. I have tried forced calibration in the recovery several times and the results is still the same. Have re- installed twice the official archos 4.0.7 firmware but nada still get the same results. The last thing I do because I thought maybe its a firmware issue was to install surdu petro custom 4.0.7 rom which I have flash successfully. Ihave formatted the disk prior to flash to clear it of any previous files but the tablet still behaves the same.
I know its only the touchscreen because even if the touchscreen hangs when I paired my sgs2 as a remote to the tablet it still responds and function as it should only I cannot control the tablet to the touch. I just want to ask if someone had experienced this situation and how you dealt with it. If it is a hardware issue thus anybody tried to open the tablet maybe a connector to the touchscreen digitizer is loose that when the tablet heats with use, the connector expands and lost contacts. i really need an insight on how to do these. Shipping the tablet back for warranty would cost more since I have brought already the tablet here in the Philippines. Any guide or solution is greatly appreciated. Will be trying to install older firmware later.
Thanks in advance
edit: already seen some teardown and pics from this forum and will do a teardown fix if firmware flashing won't work.

[Q] NO More TOUCH function on Tablet Screen

A new Hyundai Rock X IPS tablet.
Loaded Android v4.1 stock Firmware.
Turned off at evening as always. Turned on next morning routinely but waked up without Touch function which makes the tablet unusable..
Reflashed several time w/ FWs of the last two version of factory.. Every time the same result. Booting up w/o touch facility and not possible to start and execute initial settings and use the tablet..
It is bricked some way..
As it is not recovered by flashing with factory FWs, what would be the reason? Hardware failure ? But screen is okay, only no response to touch.
What do you suggest ??
I am away to China and no chance to ask service and replacement..
But if it is screen hardware failure maybe a new screen (as spare part) may be purchased and replaced..
Do you think Hardware ? Could it be disconnection of some part such as digitizer ?
Unfortunately i just experienced the same problem. Searching on Google and it seems its becoming a common complaint. I think its a hardware problem.
P. S.
Mine is just 4 days old.

[Q] Touch screen does not respond

Hello there. 3 days ago i bought used Galaxy S2. Everything was good untill now. Ive got an sms message and i wanted to check it soni unlocked my screen and suddenly my screen went crazy. It starts to "touch himself"(that sounds bad) and i couldn't do anything. Only locking and unlocking the screen was a solution. Now it happens even more often. I reinstalled android already, wiped data and cache and still nothing. Probably the solution is to change digitalizer or something but i just want to know: What is causing this issue? Thanks for any helpful ideas and tips. Cheers

Amazfit GTR2 touchscreen issue

Hello dear fellas,
Two weeks ago I ordered a GTR2 from France. It worked just fine for like 2 days but then a random touchscreen freeze started to appear. Initially it would stop working for several hours and then come back by itself but now the touch won't respond until the watch is reset, it works for 15 mins to an hour and then it locks up again. Physical buttons work just fine. I suspect this is a software issue but unfortunately there isn't much information about Amazfit OS.
I've tried factory reset, unpair and clearing memory - the problem persists. My question is - is there anyone who's had that problem, any solutions? Can I flash a custom ROM? Are there any compatible custom ROMs at all?
P.S. I've got no warranty for this great piece of tech.
