Yup this happens sometimes for me also but very RARELY on GB. It's just software issue not hardware.

what kernel you use ?
i think you have a problem related with yourself, not the phone.
if the back button (or any other capacitive button) gets wet or moist, it will stop responding.
wipe it with dry clothes and keep it from getting wet.
report if it solved the problem, if not, it's broken, take it to service.

I do agree with you as my entire phone stopped working after it cam in contact with water. I did manage to save it except for the back button. The service center's here (Mumbai,India) are quiet unreasonable with their repair quotes for a non warranty device.Hence would you know which part of the hardware needs replacing so that i may do it myself?
I did open my device and found a blue plastic like thing attached to the display (image attached for reference). Would you know if i need to change the entire display.
Thanks for reading.

Backlight of the hardware buttons

Hi there,
I may be blind but I just cannot find the settings for the backlight...it was working before but the last couple of hours they don't light up anymore...even in dim conditions.
Is there anyone to point me into the right direction? I tried the search...but only solutions for rooted devices..which my HOX+ is not ...yet!
Thank you in advance

[Q] WAAAY too high color saturation/contrast in Galaxy S2 ??

hey guys , let me start by saying i had a Galaxy S2 once before a black one , and like a idiot switched for for a i4 , now i went back to it and i noticed something , the color saturation is waay to high , its really un-normal , i remember i didn't have this issue with my old galaxy S2
i don't think its a hardware issue because i downloaded an app called "screen adjust" or something like that and by adjusting it the photos looked real again , but it had no effect on YouTube and videos and general browser
i have android 2.3.3 on it , rooted ofc and sim-unlocked
my guess its a software issue , what do you guys think ?
Try This !
Go to setting>Display>Screen mod>Standard.

Increase brightness to maximum or set auto-brightness on? There shouldn't be a problem if you do that.
Thanks bro .. Don't you remember the topics about brightness hack?? People sure have problem then? But it was working only with ICS
What I am looking for is a brightness hack for jellybean ROM

HTC One screen

Hey guys .(im sorry about my english) i have a question.. .. Im asking because im curious about it.... I dont know how to expain it ... But if u look at the right side at the screen of ur phone... ( its visible when u are on white background only) u will notice that the border(the whole right side) has a light ( a single long line) coming out...( i know for sure is not light bleeding or leak ). What is that? This is not my htc and u cant see it from this picture.. I used this image so u can see the position where the phone has to be .. And where is the light is coming from.... Like i said again im just curious ... thank u in advance
