got my razr a day ago !
i am on jb rom ""pnut butta"" and have flashed various other jb roms !
i use bmm 0.3.2 !
just wanted to know whether i can flash back to stock ics 4.0.4 using rsdlite ?
anyone who has tried it or any solution guys ??
No. Once you flash a JB ROM, the kernel gets upgraded to the JB kernel. Because of the locked bootloader, it can't be downgraded back to the ICS kernel. So while you can flash an ICS ROM, you won't be able to boot it up (you will just brick your phone).

It depends on how he upgraded. If he only flashed the Kernel than yes, he can downgrade. If he applied the OTA than no.

No, just use the bootstrap loader.

What leak? There is no leak. We now have GB.
The bootstrap loader that we have used to load roms before is the same one.
Talking about preroot gb leak. So we just use the.boot strap from froyo? The modded atrix one?

Guys, I've been running CM as daily driver in my photon, but wifi issue in it make me frustrated..
so I decide to back to stock, flashing 198-7 sbf make my photon unable to boot (stuck on dual core moto logo)..
so I'm planning to flash a CWM zip rom which has closest to stock..
any suggestions which rom?

Did you make a nandroid backup? If so restore. Always do a full wipe before flashing an sbf when you have been running a custom rom. You can flash jokerstock or skinny. Rocko. Anything but cm9 or cm7 or miui.

I'm using Chinese ICS Leak on my Latam Razr, I was wondering if you can install CM9 over this leak?
Will it use ICS kernel or it requires 2.3.6 kernel?
Will it run better if it use the ICS kernel?
Just brainstorming, let me know if is possible?

Like there is a new ota jb rom i wanna flash but im on ics and i'm wondering if i can just flash off the new safestrap or i have to do something else?

Hello all! I'm not new to rooting, but haven't tried it on my CDMA RAZR yet and am looking to get back into the fun. Anyway, my question is... Can I stay on the ICS kernel and flash a JB ROM in the slots on Safestrap? Also, do slots only run from the internal memory or can I use the SD card?

JB and ICS both use different kernels, so if you have a ICS Kernel then you can not run a JB rom. And as for the slot for a new comer you can say they only run from the internal memory.
Well i got a GSM XT910 Razr and ICS is my stock system. Using Safestrap I've flashed on Rom Slot 1 many JB roms. Im currently running CM10 as my daily driver still got ICS on my stock system untouched

I don't doubt you, but this defies my understanding of how Safestrap works. Can you check kernel and android versions on stock and CM10 to verify they are different? This would be HUGE for me.
I too want to run CM10, but I use a lapdock and need at least one slot to have ICS.
