Can I install CM's theme chooser in my Photon 2.3.5 using peteer's ROM?
I tried installing an app called Theme chooser.apk but couldn't. Is there any flashable zip for Photon unlocked versions, which we can use on our Locked ROMs
No you can't, because it's for AOSP ROMs only.

Great rom Tazz I've been using v29 now and my eris is the fastest it has ever been. I am new to getting themes on roms though and I can't seem to get any of them to work on v29. Are there any links to compatible themes? I was interested in the lucid- froyo black theme. Sorry if this has been answered but I've searched all over and couldn't find anything, and I know you guys would know. Keep up the great work!

Bump. Anyone know any themes for vanilla tazz v29?
Sent from my Vanilla Tazz using XDA Premium App
Do you mean Vanilla Tazz 28? There's no version 29.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733897
Theme-wise you can either use the app Metamorph to theme your froyo rom or use a flash-able zip. There isn't a theme made specific for Vanilla Tazz 28 but since it is Froyo 2.2 you can use Metamorph to change up your swag.
*Note CM7 Android Gingerbread 2.3 Theme Chooser will not work if you were looking at that
Metamorph - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591329
To change up your phone's look just look through the Droid Eris Theme Section or go ahead and look at the Android and Development Theme Section

You'll have to do some digging to find the metamorphs and flashable zip ones since CM7 Theme Chooser is the latest craze right now.
Tazz has released an v29, but I do not think it is official let. He has linked to it here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11360695&postcount=14060
Thanks I'll give it a try again. I've been trying the flashable zip themes specifically able to work for vanilla tazz 28 but it throws me into a boot loop on version 29. Not sure why.

That's because the framework is different from 28 to 29. Which themes are you trying to flash?
Is this possible?
I am familiar with the process of doing it on a rom for my Captivate but that is rooted and has CWM installed on it where I can just flash it through there.
Anybody at all?

Themes are possible on stock as long as you deodex the rom. Same as on captivate once themed to flash it. CWM and root instructions in sticky in dev.

But if I am deodexing the rom then it isnt really stock anymore then is it?
Yes, its technically not stock anymore since your combining the odex and apk into single file. But as far as I am aware, you have to deodex the Captivate to theme. When I themed my captivate I would only deodex /system/app/systemui.apk (.odex), /system/framework/framework-res.apk (.odex) and leave the rest at stock.

Hi all. Is there a way in order to unflash a theme before flashing another theme? Right now i am on BlueNeonSteel 1.0 (great theme btw. Props to Kevin3328) but my keyboard is still the theme that i was currently running before it (Ice Cream Sandwich).
If the keyboard was not themed then it will keep the keyboard from the previous theme. All you have to do is reflash your rom, then flash your theme. You don't have to wipe data, but I like to wipe cache and dalvic just to keep everything clean.

Keyboard is themed... if u want to go back to stock just reflash the eclipse rom without wiping.. reboot go back into recovery and reflash your theme of choice

[ROM][2.3.6][XILA2]&[XWLA4]galaxy note lockscreen~MXD~RED N BLUE THEMES~add jkaymod~
Based on stock gingerbread I1900 XILA2 & XWLA4. XILA2 is heavily themed with a stock like look and XWLA4 is an almost stock rom that will be modded once I sort my laptop issues. Thanks for Entropy Kernel and hellraiser files Thanks Entropy with root, OC and init support. I was able to install and use my kitchen to cook up the files and optimize them I like to leave them codex for as long as possible (usually deodex once I have to edit jar files).
Thanks to all the other developers in the Infuse/sgs2/atrix/arc/x10 forums. My base file is stock gingerbread from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho... I9100XILA2 [13.01.2012][Android 2.3.6] Italy modding tricks from several developers. You can use most gingerbread kernels with this rom.
Must have cwm recovery to install. This install does not erase data but always remember to manually backup and install your data and rom
BORROWED SOME INSTRUCTIONS FROM JRVY26 OP PAGE
HOW TO INSTALL
Prerequisite: You must be running a kernel with CWM. DATA MUST BE WIPED
CACHE MUST BE WIPED
DATA MUST BE WIPED
1) Download MXD ROM and place it on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) With the phone powered off, hold both volume buttons and the power button for few seconds and then release all three when you see the Galaxy S II logo disappear and reappear. This should boot you into CWM.
4) Select "wipe data/factory reset".
5) Once done click Reboot System Now. It will take a few minutes to boot please be patient.
6) Once booted completely up and on Android Setup screen Power Down.
7) With the phone powered off, hold both volume buttons and the power button for about 10 seconds and then release all three when you see the Galaxy S II logo disappear and reappear. This should boot you into CWM.
8) Select "install zip from sdcard" and navigate to and select MXD
9) Once done click Reboot System Now.
Widgets and other files that can be installed by market WILL NOT EVER BE included in rom or packages.

It has some icons that look same, but very different Rom. not compatible with att roms and a lot of mod are not yet compatible unless you mix another Rom kl1. but i don't want to mix this one so will work with only this framework.

Not sure really, but we do have enough ICS themes running around though so anything but that.
Does arc launcher still have the problem where it don't let you alphabetize the apps drawer well it will but it don't stick?

Do you know what its called inside the .zip or where it is located?
Since my Galaxy S4 (Verizon 4GLTE, NC5, rooted) has a locked boot loader and therefore cannot flash a vanilla android rom like Cyangenmod with a custom recovery or safestrap, I wanted to know if there was a way to simply change the material of touchwiz (i.e. - notification center, animations...). If anyone has a way please answer below! Thanks.
