i find out a 10mb boot.img in my recovery backup, can we modify this boot.img and overclock the gpu??
Or it has any method to overclock the gpu?!
p3100 has same cpu gpu and ram with L9, i own it one, and it can overclock the sgx540 to 384mhz

Im running Home Base 2.1 + 4.5 which runs on faux's 1.3Ghz kernel but SetCpu wont let me OC past 1.1. Any ideas?
So I'm using a phone with mt6577 processor ICS,my main problem is cpu frequencies doesn't "stick" i.e. when I set 500mhz max freq. cpu still jumps to 1ghz,the only solution i have in mind is to compile my own kernel from source.
1. which version of ubuntu can i use?
2. if i use kernel source from other phone with mt6577 processor will it be compatible?
3. if it's not compatible how can i make it compatible?
4. is there any alternative solution to my problem? like using custom kernel for other mt6577 phones

I want to port rom developed for Nexus 6 to LG G3 Cat.6.
They both have same processor GPU and RAM.
HARDWARE
Processor 2.7GHz quad-core
Processor make Qualcomm Snapdragon 805
RAM 3GB
Internal storage 32GB
So If i want to port any ROM then what changes will I have to make?
Those changes are in kernel?
If yes then How can I compile kernel?

You need to make changes in both kernel and system.
Search the developers section on XDA there you can find plenty of guides regrading this topic.

i have moto Z with rom RR 5.8.5 and kernel TurboZcustomRomN 1.6. 7.1.1
my problem is underclock CPU . i set cpu overclock to 2.15 or 1.6 ghz manually, but cpu after few minutes fall with clock.
Where is problem please ?
